Florida Vacay Rentals welcomes you to our "Tranquil Terracotta" condo! Enjoy stunning views of the Northern No-Drive Beach directly from the private 8th floor balcony! This updated condo is decorated with beautiful white accents paired with unique terracotta tile resulting in a fresh, boho feel. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, you can comfortably sleep 6 guests.

The Ormondy Condominium is a Private Residential Building that includes the convenience of gated underground garage parking. The Ormondy is a non-smoking and non-pet community. Residents and Guests may not bring pets on the property.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. Exactly as described, very clean and welcoming. Quiet building with easy access to garage parking. Everything we needed was there! Would definitely stay here again.

Just What We Needed

We needed a quick getaway with a few family members and this was just what we needed. Not too big. Not too small. Everything was just as was advertised and we hope to stay there again next summer.

Ormond Thanksgiving Holiday

The pros: The 11 story building was in great condition. The parking was ample and easily accessed. The interior was clean and well lit. Hallways were quiet and not open to the weather. The 2 elevators were modern and quick. The room (E-8) was spacious, modern and clean. All necessary items were included: towels, silverware, and cooking utensils were fine. The in-room wqsher and dryer was a great plus. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations and convenience stores nearby. A Publix is located very close. Every one slept fine and enjoyed thier stay. I would re-book this condo for future visits. The cons: Getting into the condo initially was confusing but we finally figured it out. We had a difficult time connecting to the Wi-Fi but finally got it figured out after 2 days. Being a holiday time we did not try to contact any anyone for help. The tub drain in the master bath drains very slowly. The TVs could be larger. In conclusion, I would recommend this condo to anyone and stay here again myself.

Great Balcony View/Great waves

Love the endless beach view from the balcony. You can hear and see the ocean from the balcony, couch, and both bedrooms! It's a condo building of mostly seniors so they do have tight security with locked doors/key fob entry. A unique bonsus is the storage shed in our assigned parking spot. It was filled with chairs, boards and an umbrella. To be fair, the chairs are near breaking but it was nice to have access to kid shovels, an umbrella, etc. Kitchen had a cabinet of spices if you wanted to cook! My only concern is that the off-site management company couldn't tell us if there were beach chairs or boards. So we stuffed them into the van and ended up not needing those items. I asked the management company in three separate emails what was in the "shed" but they repeated to bring items "in case." That was frustrating. The condo us in a more residential area so you will need to drive to restaurants or to get to more "touristy" areas. We loved the location and the space on the beach so it worked perfect for us.

Nice location

The good - Condo we stayed in (E-8) was very clean and modern. Plus, all the amenities were there, including a "beach closet" that had a beach bag, 2 coolers, towels, sun screen, and even a big floppy hat! They thought of everything. The bed in the master was very comfortable. The bathrooms were arranged in a very usable way. The kitchen was lovely. The clubhouse on 11 was super nice too. A few things I didn't like. First, the condo building is older, and there was work going on the entire week we were there. Someone on the 3rd floor was having "tile re-done", and the work started around 8-9am, and went on ALL.....DAY........LONG. Every day...... It was awful. The vibrating and grinding sounds really detracted from the relaxed beach vibe we were looking for. And some of the furniture was not working properly, making it uncomfortable to watch TV at night. (One end of the 2 reclining couch ends didn't recline (no power), and the lazy boy chair foot rest would steadily move down when reclined.) Another unpleasant experience was the check in, and all the rules associated with the condo. And I am a big rule follower, so I am generally not bothered by rules. These were a bit over the top. To check in, we had to enter through the 1st floor lobby to enter the building and go up to the condo to get the keys and garage opener, but we weren't allowed to carry suitcases through the lobby. That was just weird. And finally, the pool was really dirty, and not lit.

If that information is shared with Florida Vacay we always try to communicate this to our guests so there are no surprises. For the furniture, we will make sure this is shared with our team so we can look into this further. We are always happy to assist during the stay if there is anything that needs to be addressed. In our arrival package we want to communicate all the important and necessary information to allow for an enjoyable stay. There are luggage carts for guests to use as the complex does try to minimize the roller luggage across the floors. We still hope you had an amazing time at The Ormondy and were able to relax on the beach.
