The house was great and the location was excellent. Was short on towels and the toaster didn't work, but the management company took care of it immediately. Very comfy beds and the view was beautiful!
Loved this home! The location was great, close to different attractions. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Thank you so much for hosting us. Highly recommend this home. View was lovely
We loved our stay at Meredith! We brought my grandma and she absolutely loved getting to see the ocean from the large living room windows. Great stay overall and we all had a very fun time.
A comfortable home, with an ocean view from the expansive living room windows. The beds were fantastic, very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could want, well equiped. So close to a public beach access too.
Well-stocked kitchen, stained carpet in hallway and bedrooms. Some peeling wallpaper in bathroom.
Beach view is minimal; walk to beach is short but on a steep hill with no sidewalk.
Comfortable living area. Enjoyed visiting deer in yard.
My friends and I had a great time. The online description was an accurate representation of the house. It is actually only one block from the ocean and had great views of the same. There were two deer in the back yard one morning.
The only issue was the water pressure in the bathroom shower. I mentioned this to the management and it's probably fixed by now.
Lots of traffic on steep road with people driving way too fast. Hard to see getting in/out of street. House needs a TV in the living room. If advertising game systems for use, they should be ready to use. Tiny bathroom adjacent to âmasterâ.
Other than those items, great comfortable home. We enjoyed our time there and being able to see the ocean from the house
So hey, just a warning ... be careful about washing your clothes in the washing machine. I brought our own Tide soap and tossed in my favorite Morgan Wallen sweatshirt that I spent a ton on at a concert and it got bleached out from the residual soap/bleach in the washing machine. We have stayed at many VRBOs and even own one on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I have never run into this issue before. We reached out to the owner with no response, so I just wanted to give a fair heads-up to future renters.
Location is nice. Walking distance to a great beach. House is older for sure, including bedding and pillows.
Checking in we gave 2 stars because they gave us the wrong code and couldnât get in, had to get ahold of the agency which was easy and they were very nice, great to communicate with.
Easy to find, beautiful house. Does need some updating, the pull out bed in the one room was pretty dirty and torn up. The blankets in the closet were all dirty, they had stains on them and could tell they hadnât been cleaned. The two queen beds were very comfortable, be aware of the floors in the house, they were super slick with and without socks. I donât know what they use on those floors but wow.
The kids were slipping every step they took.
Not a super kid friendly house but would love to stay there again with just adults.
Overall our stay was great. House was clean and as described. Public beach access is down the hill several blocks. The street down is narrow and has no sidewalk, so just be aware. We had small children and a disabled adult, so we chose to drive down to go to the beach.
The kitchen is pretty well equipped, we found pot/pans, dishware etc that was helpful.
We did have some trouble with the electronics. One bedroom tv didnât work at all. Other had dead batteries. Just a little inconvenient. There is no tv in the main living area, we were a little disappointed as we wanted to do a family movie night.
We did have a bit of trouble accessing the house, when we tried to call Meredith Co at the number Listed we kept getting hung up on. Just make sure you know how to access the key code before you get there. Standing in the rain trying to remember which email had the access portal wasnât fun. Silly me.
The location is very hilly and wouldn't be good for people with disabilities. It should be disclosed. As for sleeping 8, I don't know how. The patio is great, but only 3 cheap plastic chairs. Again if it sleeps 8, where were the other 5 chairs. Our group had to purchase some. The hidabed was disgusting and should be replaced.
