The Space:

Welcome to Miner Lake! This cozy, renovated lakefront cottage offers a peaceful getaway with your own private beach, dock, swimming area, and beautiful lake views. The home sleeps up to 6 guests with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a futon in the lower-level living area. Renovated in 2022, the cottage combines a simple, comfortable atmosphere with the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.



Outdoor Area



Enjoy your days by the water with access to two kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, a swimming platform, and fishing from the dock. The large deck offers outdoor dining and lounge seating overlooking the lake, while the backyard provides plenty of space to relax, play cornhole, or gather around the fire pit in the evening. The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, making it a great setting for families and couples looking for a peaceful lake getaway. Please note that motorized boats are not permitted.



Inside the Home



The cottage has two living areas, with the upstairs living room offering a dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi if you need to work during your stay. The updated bathroom features a walk-in shower, along with towels and toiletries. The lower level includes additional lounge and dining space, as well as an LG washer and dryer for your convenience.



Kitchen & Dining



The open-plan kitchen has the essentials for preparing meals during your stay, along with a dishwasher for easy cleanup. An OXO 8-cup coffee maker and French press are available to help you start your mornings.



Location



Miner Lake offers a great home base for enjoying the lake while exploring West Michigan. The cottage is approximately 30 minutes from Kalamazoo, Holland, Saugatuck, downtown Grand Rapids, and Lake Michigan beaches, making it easy to enjoy both a relaxing waterfront stay and day trips around the area.



Parking

The house has a garage for 2 vehicles plus driveway parking.



As part of our check-in process, we kindly ask guests to complete a short form through our secure link to provide a few essential details. This step is required to ensure a smooth and seamless arrival. It only takes a minute and includes: – Full name – Email address – Phone number – A quick upload of a valid government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license) Your information is kept private and secure, and it helps us prepare everything for your stay.

Other Things to Note:

The house does not have a television, but it does have WiFi throughout if you want to stream something on your device. But why not have some traditional cottage fun? Check out the game drawer with Yahtzee, Jenga, Uno, Phase 10, puzzles and card games! Or gather around the fire pit for conversation and story telling. Please note: the dock and swim raft are seasonal and available from sometime in April and pulled out and stored for winter sometime in September.



The home is on a septic system so please flush only septic safe toilet paper (provided), and place nothing down the kitchen sink drain. The home is also on a well, so depending on your preferences you may want to bring your own drinking water.



During the colder months, the house is heated by electric baseboard heaters.



All reservations are covered by an insurance program. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay.
