It was so charming and well stocked. I had two things that need to be done better. Fireplace needs to work and hot water was very limited. Bed was amazing and I loved using the little stove. I sure wanted to pick the bluebonnets but knew better.
My wife and I really enjoyed this cottage for a getaway weekend. The property was easy to reach and close to Main Street, but also far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. Really nice decorations with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect if you want to grab a few groceries for a quiet meal in. Will plan to stay here again next time weâre in the area.
Comfortable and perfect for a couple. Mattress was a treat. The outdoor seating areas were excellent. A bit far from downtown, so it is quiet. Overall, a top property.
Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely rock home. It was the perfect size for my wife and I. Very clean and well stocked with basic necessities, we also loved the gazebo out back in the mornings. The owners live next door and were very friendly, we would enjoy staying here again.
This little Hill Country gem, a taste of Old Texas, is an immaculate, lovingly updated 19th-century home. Furnished with selected antiques, including some particularly delightful lamps, the house offers a relaxing and private retreat within walking distance of bustling downtown Fredericksburg.
Weâve been to Fredericksburg many times. This time it was just for us. A much needed break to unwind and unplug.
This stay fit the bill. We couldnât have expected better.
Weâll stay here again!
The haus was very appealing but had a couple of drawbacks for elderly folks. There were no really comfortable chairs to sit it in. The mattress on the bed was so firm my husband could not sleep on it and ended up sleeping in a chair with a footstool. We left a day early.
Property and furnishings all awesome. Nice quiet location. Well appointed throughout. Looking forward to seeing the stars. No background lighting ordinance overwhelmed by big yard light. No switch.
Great location. Close to Main St. which was super convenient. Quiet neighborhood. Driveway was a little difficult to find in the dark, but we figured it out. Green chair isnât as bright green as the picture suggests. Lol. The mattress on the bed could use some love, but the bedding was amazing. The towels provided are some of the best Iâve ever had in my travels and better than the ones at home. Overall, I would definitely recommend this little house to anyone. The only little thing I missed compared to others, and itâs not a big deal, is there are no little treats provided. Homemade type stuff. If you know, you know. Again, great place to get away.
