Our romantic ANZAC Day weekend at Mornington Peninsula Retreat was truly memorable. A tree-lined driveway leads to a beautifully lit cottage and gardens, instantly creating an enchanting ambience. The restored barn exudes rustic country charm, featuring a potbelly fireplace, exposed timber beams and authentic horse-barn doors. Inside, modern comforts abound: a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living spaces and plush linens. On arrival, soft music played, lights were dimmed, and a complimentary bottle of wine awaited, demonstrating the hostâs attention to detail. The location is superb - just minutes from acclaimed vineyards, restaurants, national parks and boutique shops, offering the very best of the Mornington Peninsula. Our host, Christine, provided clear and timely information via the booking portal, responding swiftly to all queries and adding a personal touch to our stay. Although our two-night visit offered a delightful taste of the retreatâs charm, it left us eager to return for a longer stay. We highly recommend Mornington Peninsula Retreat for couples seeking an unforgettable romantic escape.
