Poet's Retreat est une oasis immaculée et entièrement rénovée de 2 chambres. Il est entièrement meublé et équipé. Tout cela dans un emplacement incroyablement central et un quartier magnifique - un accès facile aux autoroutes, à moins de 5 minutes en voiture des restaurants et des magasins du Vieux Quartier de la Ville, du centre-ville, du front de mer de Nanaimo et de la VIU. Les centres aquatiques et de glace se trouvent à moins de 10 minutes à pied.

En entrant dans la suite, vous serez accueilli par une atmosphère chaleureuse et invitante, avec une décoration de bon goût et une lumière naturelle. Le salon ouvert est l'endroit parfait pour se détendre après une journée d'exploration de la ville, avec des sièges confortables et une télévision intelligente à écran plat avec Netflix et Amazon Prime pour votre divertissement.

La cuisine entièrement équipée dispose de tous les appareils et ustensiles dont vous avez besoin pour préparer de délicieux repas pendant votre séjour. Poet's Retreat

We had such a relaxing stay at Poet's Retreat. It is comfortably furnished, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet neighborhood. From the delicious Nanaimo Bars to the soft bathrobes, Lindsay makes you feel right at home. We would love to stay here again when we're on the Island.

Beautifully appointed apartment.

Poets Retreat is located in a lovely and walkable neighborhood with trails that lead to a sanctuary for native flora as well as striped turtles and birds. By car, it’s just minutes to the City Center’s shops and great restaurants or to several excellent parks with hiking trails The owners of Poets Retreat have provided a fully equipped kitchen, and the living room and bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Howard and his wife are easy to contact if any unexpected issue arises. I highly recommend this lovely retreat. We had a wonderful stay.

Stay for work trip

Stayed for 3 months on work assignment. Excellent place, was very clean and even better than what is seen on the photos. Lindsay was great, very easy to reach, and provided everything I needed/requested during my stay. Highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay again next time in Nanaimo.

Family visit

Beautiful neighborhood and area. Excellent accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. I stayed with my 2 brothers for 4 nights and it worked out great. Would be excellent for couples or small families with kids. Our hosts we excellent! You won't get treated any better. I highly recommend this property. I will be telling my daughter and son in law to stay when they visit her father in law in Nanaimo.

Comfort and cleanliness

This property was perfect for us. We have children under 3 and Lindsay set us up with everything we needed - baby gate, crib, children bowls and cutlery, highchair - it was so great to have all that set up when we arrived. The property is clean, comfortable, and very close to a playground for the kids to play and run around. We had a great stay.

Excellent accommodation

Rented this lovely home for 3 Adults while working in Nanaimo . The residence was exactly as described, owners were amazing with both communication and assistance. Location proves to be even better than amticipated;; close to our venue and very close to walking/running/roller blade trails for post work fresh air. Would highly recommend this property and have already put wheels in motion to book again for our next visit to Nanaimo.

Fabulous place to stay.

Poet’s Retreat was the perfect spot for this difficult trip to a family funeral, a calm and welcoming place to unwind at the end of the day. It was clean, bright and spacious. The area was very quiet and close to everything. The hosts were very helpful, accommodating and responsive, anticipating our every need. It snowed heavily during our stay and they were here first thing clearing the snow. We enjoyed our stay, will stay here again and recommend it highly to anyone.

Cozy and Immaculate

We were very impressed with the owners and the property. The property was exceptionally clean, high quality bedding and towels ! Beds are very comfortable! Lots of room and the fire place made it very cozy and relaxing! Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful, quick to respond and the welcome card and baking was very thoughtful. Location is perfect, and a quiet neighborhood. We highly recommend this place!

We can't describe how we were impressed by the property and property owners. The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable and we had a lot of towels. It is very cozy and relaxing place. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful, quick to respond and provided a lot of suggestion about the Nanaimo and surrounding areas. Location is perfect, and neighborhood is nice and quiet. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect in every way !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay At poets retreat! Everything was just so beautiful and well thought out by the owners. We stayed with our son and another couple who we travelled with us for some university hockey games. The neighbourhood is very safe and lovely and a short scenic walk to the university rink. We would stay there again In a heartbeat! Thank you Lindsay for all your help and welcoming accommodations 🥰

A lovely place to stay!

This property was perfect for our needs. Very modern, super clean, well equipped kitchen and maybe most important, nice comfortable beds in a very quiet neighbourhood - no traffic or people noise after dark. Our host Lindsay was very accommodating with our check-in and check-out requests and while we did not meet her personally we knew she lived close by if we did need her. All in all, a very professional presented property that we would certainly return to in the future if we are back in the area. Thanks Lindsay,

5 star stay, very clean and excellent place to relax

Really enjoyed our stay here felt like a home away from home. The place is really nice and great location. I went for walks daily in Buttertubs wildlife park which is just a short 5 min walk from here you'll see all kinds of wildlife. It's a very quiet neighborhood you can hear the birds and it's really peaceful. Lots of nice books about the island were also placed throughout and interesting reading which was very thoughtful. The place was exceptionally clean and everything was great on arrival the host has been superb and we felt well-taken care of. The hot tub is a great bonus and was nice when it cooled down. Neck Point and Pipers Lagoon are great places for an evening walk or to explore just a short 20 min drive away. Look forward to staying here again sometime
