Better known as ‘Double Eagle Bluff,’ this vacation rental is ideally situated in the White Mountain Estates and 5 miles from downtown Mountain View. Take in the tranquil surroundings by hiking around the property or admiring the breathtaking view from the deck. When the sun sets, light the fire pit and recount the day’s memories under the stars.

Family Getaway

Our stay was for our annual sibling trip for 3 couples. The cabin was perfect, spacious, beautiful views & conveniently located for all of us! Beds were comfortable, perfect amenities! Our host David was gracious & very accommodating, check in & out was a breeze! Definitely plan to come back again!!

Amazing property

This property was everything promised in the listing and more. Beautiful cabin, lots of space, awesome view from the large back deck, clean, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway in the mountains

Really loved this place. The cabin and scenery are beautiful. Plenty of hiking/climbing right there. Firepit, expansive deck, lots of indoor living space. Perfect for a girls' trip. Close enough to everything so we didn't have to drive far, yet far enough away to be secluded. I wish there was a king size bed so I could come back with my husband!

All around great cabin with great view

The title for this property is spot-on: peaceful cabin with deck and mountain views. The location is great, just a few minutes from Anglers on the White River (which has gas, food, etc) and 10-15 minutes to Mountain View. The cabin itself is very well laid out, nice kitchen, very comfortable furniture and great furnishings. Beautiful view from the den onto the deck and the deck is very large and wonderful for taking it all in. The property is super peaceful and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, peaceful, easy access, well kept, close proximity to parks and river

Enjoyed our stay, very quiet, deep blue sky with night time stars shining brightly. Proximity to National and State parks was good. Didn't go there for the Internet, however had no issues with it. Cooking in the kitchen worked out well and there are a few local seafood/steak restaurants along the river, all were good. Highly recommend and would consider staining again if we visit the area.

Mountain Get Away

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in Mountain View, it was hard to leave! The cabin had everything we needed to have a lovely vacation, including a wide variety of owner music to listen to on the speakers that ran through the whole house. Also, a perk was Bluetooth speakers on the exterior to listen to your own curated music. Mr. David was so helpful with all the questions we had about the cabin. Just a short drive to Blanchard Caverns, Gunner Pool, Mirror Lake, and Mirror Lake swimming hole. Highly recommend giving this place a stay!

Mini Vacation

We had the most amazing stay in Mountain View!! The cabin was perfect for our family. We enjoyed all the amenities offered, along with the gorgeous views! We opted to stay in and cook for breakfast and dinners and had the best time. Mountain View was a fantastic place to visit! From the caves at Blanchard Springs to kayaking on the river (shout out to Sylamore Creek Cabin rental) to sitting around the fire pit each night - our trip was incredible and our only complaint was we didn’t stay longer!!The owner was so hospitable and was quickly available when the fire alarm needed new batteries. He was incredibly friendly and it was great to meet him, and hear a little more about the cabin. We will definitely plan another trip soon!

Gorgeous property, horrible property management

My spouse and I arrived to a beautiful property, exactly as the listing promised. As we began settling our items into the house, it became clear that a wasp nest had been built indoors, and many others crowded every doorway to the home, as well as the deck area. I tried to call David- the “man on the ground” contact listed in my check-in email, but I got no answer. After several hours of slowly, but systematically rid the house of the wasps, we decided to turn on the gas fireplace and get cozy in the cool mountain weather. The fireplace, however, was not functional. I called David a second time. Again I got no answer, but left a voicemail, feeling sure I would hear from him by the following morning. Our second day was spent dodging more wasps on the deck. On our third and final night at the house I decided to try calling David one last time as I was really hoping to enjoy at least one fire before we left. On this, my third attempt to contact the property owner, I finally got an answer. It was a female voice however, so I asked to please speak with David. The line disconnected. I called again, and reiterated my need to speak with the property owner. The voice on the other end was loud, brash, and mocking as it levied an annoyed “he’s not here!” And again the line was disconnected. At this time I reached out to Evolve customer support, feeling sure that I must have had the wrong number. I was assured that it was the correct number, and finally as the Evolve customer support agent reached out to him, I made my first contact with David. He called quickly this time from the same number I’d been calling all along. He told me nothing was wrong with the fireplace and ultimately we disconnected our call due to poor reception. There were some lovely aspects to this trip. The scenery and grill were very enjoyable, although overall I am extremely disappointed in the experience. I would not stay here again, although we will definitely be returning to the area.

Clean cute cabin but

There was an infestation of Asian lady beetles. They were in the lights, on the ceiling. Falling in the beds in the loft. We loved the cabin but that infestation needs to be addressed. It appeared they are hiding out in the attic. We emailed the contact guy but he did not respond. Other than the beetles the cabin was clean.

Beautiful vacation home

This property was well located from the activities we had planned in the area. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The views were spectacular. We plan to return when we visit in this area.
