When we got there the stove was broken and the oven didn’t work. Me and my family brought a whole bunch of food for cooking. Ended up not being able to cook for the week. So we wasted money on groceries and then had to rely on going out and spending more money for meals. We did call the host and they informed us that they made this aware to vrbo, but vrbo failed to relay the message to guest staying or while booking the cabin

The cabin was beautiful, the screened in back porch was especially nice in the evenings with the cool breeze blowing. Centrally located to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, plenty of shopping etc., would stay there again.

When we arrived there was a sign on the oven saying “out of order.” We had purchased groceries for cooking. It was my birthday and we planned to make a cake. We tried to contact the owner but the number listed was the cleaner. She said she couldn’t do anything and the owners were aware. It was not mentioned in the listing. We finally got the owner and they said they were going to send a toaster oven but sent an air fryer. No cake for me.The cabin smelled moldy throughout. The rugs were stained with pet urine. The kitchen smelled of mildew and the bed smelled like pee. No thanks.

The road to cabin needs to be marked better. In a very sharp curve. Beds need new mattress. Living area needs more comfortable furniture. Just needs some updates. Overall the stay was good loved the wooded area.

The location was amazing!! And the cabin was clean, comfortable and homey. Loved the back porch, the hot tub, the kitchen, the patio. Only negative was the bed was a little too firm. I'm used to a softer mattress. However I would love to stay there again.

Very nice location. Very clean. Very comfortable. Beds were a little too firm but I adjusted. Wish there was some small amount of hanging space for clothes but hall tree helped for most important things. I would happily stay there again.

Secluded cabin?

The property list, secluded which it is not, take 20 steps and you’re at the next cabin. They had a little tiny patch of grass for my two fur babies to go on, that was knee-high with weeds and grass when we arrived. They did have the grass cut the next morning, but it was a little tiny area And I feel that the description of the property is inaccurate. Location was great, close to shops.

Felt like home

Our family of 5 (4 Adults and 1 child) stayed at this cabin from June 3rd - 8th. It was the PERFECT cabin for our family and our stay. It is a smaller-sized cabin, but we LOVED that each evening, we felt like we were coming home! My mother and I enjoyed getting up early, fixing a cup of coffee, and going out to talk on the back screened-in porch. This cabin is close to the roadway, so there is some car noise, but you can't actually see the cabin from the road thanks to a tree line. I was grateful that the driveway leading up to the cabin is not extremely steep, and it was a quick drive to everywhere we wanted to go (Dollywood, SplashCountry, Gatlinburg, and the National Park). We had a small issue with the water heater (it turned out to be a tripped breaker), and the owner and management were very attentive to the situation, which was resolved quickly! We have no complaints and truly hope to book this cabin again in the future!

Scenic surroundings

There were minor issues -dealing with a 3rd party in VRBO rather than the house owners slows down response times… this was my first time booking a place where we did not deal directly with the owners. The downstairs shower didn’t drain properly so we had to stand in slippery water while showering, the hot tub water wasn’t clean, the bed was hard, house repairs next door led to the narrow exit/entry path being blocked several times … but nothing that was awful. I would still recommend staying if you’re looking for a cabin that allows your pets to come with you! The cabin was otherwise homey and even had a food dish for pet owners. The back porch was nice and the view from every window/door was pretty. Every morning I woke to sunshine and the view of the trees through the sliding glass door in the bedroom. The kitchen had everything needed and the dining room table was large and provided a nice place to sit with my laptop. The rocking chairs in the living room are nice.

Nightmare at Cabin 813

When we first arrived, the driveway was completely blocked by construction workers and materials from the construction of a new cabin. Not the owners fault. Then there was no TV or Wi-Fi because the construction workers had torn down the Spectrum cable going to the house! Then, a bad thunderstorm with high winds came through Monday afternoon and knocked out the power. So now on our 5th day, we have no electricity which means no water! We stay the night hoping that perhaps we will get power back on overnight. Nope, doesn’t happen. So not only are we without electricity, we also have no water! So now we have to leave and get a hotel room for the night so we can shower and go to the bathroom! No only that, but I had to sit at the Walmart Tire Center half a day and pay for a tire repair because of the nails lying in the driveway from the next door cabin construction. So we decided to cut our losses and leave a day early. Worst vacation I’ve ever had, no joke! Again, no of this was the owner’s fault but my god, it couldn’t have been much worse. It’s been suggested that I would receive a partial refund but I haven’t seen it yet!!

Stevie, The owner tries their best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors are simply out of their control. We hope ongoing construction did not take away from what the rest of the property has to offer. We shared your feedback with the owner and they would like to clarify the following: Owner's response: "When we found out about the wifi being out we contacted our provider immediately and the wifi was restored the next day. - We have no control over natural disasters. When the storm hit it took out the electricity for 24 hours. We understand you moving to a hotel and we did provide you funds within a week for the inconvenience. Again, this was out of our control, and nothing we could have done to prevent it. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for those 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Good location, responsive owners

The cabin was in a great location for our daughter's volleyball tournament. More spacious than hotels and not too much more expensive. There were a couple issues the night we arrived. First of all the wifi password provided by Evolve was not correct. We used the contact number to call for help with this since we were relying on internet connection to get volleyball tournament info. The contact number was for the person who cleans the cabin between guests. This person had no idea how to resolve the wifi password issue so she had to contact the owners and we had to wait to hear back. In a little more than an hour, the owners contacted us via text message. We ended up having to get on the phone with the internet service provider to resolve the problem since the owner did not know the password either. Strongly recommend if you need internet access, ensure you have the correct wifi password. Access for us was very important since this is how we stayed up to date with volleyball tournament details. The second issue we ran into was a flipped breaker in the master bedroom. It was difficult to locate the breaker to confirm this was the issue and resolve. There was no power to the bedroom outlets. The TV, lamps and chargers did not work since the outlets were not working. We again contacted the owner via text message. Owner had no idea where the breaker box was located. They did offer to contact Evolve to try to have someone come out in the next day. Eventually we were able to find it ourselves outside and reset the breaker. We let the owner know how to resolve this issue from the outside outlets in case this is a problem for guests in the future. Only other comment is that the couch smells strongly of pet hair. We did not need to use it for sleeping and it would need a lot of cleaning before I would sleep on it. Overall, the cabin is good for rental instead of a hotel if you want a little more space.

Initially, we believed there were technical problems, but it turned out that Evolve had not updated the password. However, this information was readily available on the router, as with any standard router. Rest assured, we responded promptly to your concerns, and the problem was resolved within hours. - Regarding the lack of connection in the bedroom TV., we offered to send a maintenance person in the morning since it was very late at night. However, there are TVs available in the living room and loft for your convenience. - Regarding the smell on the couch, we have taken note of your feedback, and we have informed our cleaning services to improve their procedures. It is important to note that guests should refrain from allowing pets on the couch to avoid such issues. We are dedicated to continuously improving our cabin to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests, and we appreciate your feedback.

True to Listing; Would Stay Again!

We LOVED the location of this cabin! I am personally not a fan of the really steep roads that can be found in Gatlinburg going up the mountain and this cabin did not require having to tackle any of those. It’s just 15 minutes from the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge and a 25 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Of course that means you sacrifice a view but suited us just fine. I found the cabin to be very clean and true to the listing and photos! It was perfect for our small family of three. Parents in the downstairs bedroom with the teen in the upstairs loft for his own space. Kitchen is very small but we didn’t do any cooking nor did we plan to so no issue there. We also loved that it was pet friendly and were able to bring our two dogs along! They even put up a Christmas tree in the cabin that made us really feel the Holiday spirit while we were there! We would definitely stay again if ever back in the area!

Lovely property and great location. Clean and comfortable. Only slight negative is the entrance drive could use a little work. Location, price and condition all 5 star ratings. Close the the parkway but very quiet. Outstanding price for this two bedroom 2 bath cabin. Interior was ver comfortable. Plenty of room.

Vacation stay

We really enjoyed the property and our stay in Sevierville. But we did have one safety issue. There needs to be a mirror installed at the entrance off of S New Era and onto the cabin road. There is a blind spot and we were almost hit a couple of times. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to bring the family dog!
