Ce charmant appartement indépendant est situé sur le côté sud du fleuve Arno, sur Lungarno Torrigiani, emplacement idéal pour atteindre tous les monuments les plus importants que Florence puisse offrir, tels que: Ponte Vecchio (Vieux pont) célèbre dans le monde entier pour ses bijouteries et ses des orfèvres, les jardins du Palazzo Pitti et de Boboli, la chapelle Brancacci (avec les merveilleuses fresques de Masaccio), la galerie des Offices.

L'appartement est situé dans une zone idéale pour les personnes souhaitant séjourner à proximité de nombreux commerces et services, dans le quartier d'Oltrarno, un quartier populaire encore habité par les Florentins, avec des magasins locaux pour les besoins quotidiens, une trattorie et du vin traditionnels les bars
À quelques pas de là, vous trouverez la Piazza Santo Spirito où vous pourrez visiter le marché quotidien (ouvert du lundi au samedi de 7h à 14h) ou savourer des dîners exceptionnels dans l'un des nombreux restaurants de la place.

Premier étage (du rez-de-jardin, vous montez 7 marches): 2 chambres doubles, 1 salle de bain avec douche, un grand salon et un studio.
Deuxième étage: salle à manger, cuisine entièrement équipée, 1 salle de bain avec douche, un studio avec un canapé-lit, belle terrasse donnant sur le jardin, la rivière Arno et avec une vue magnifique sur les monuments de Florence.

Great location and view

A great little house right across from the Uffizi. Easy walk to everything. Great terrace and view of the centro from the dining area and terrace. A nice mix of rustic, older and newer art. Car park is about a 3 min walk at ponte vecchio. 2 very nice bedrooms: the third is more of a small loft unit but that’s pretty standard.

Difficult contacting host. Apartment was dirty, musty, dank and dark — the pictures are misleading. Tile and grout had black mold in bathrooms, on bathroom shower attachments, walls and washing machine. The bedrooms were so small we could not put our luggage down. Bathrooms very tiny. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning. Bathroom towels were skimpy and threadbare. Cobwebs in bedrooms, mosquitos everywhere (all of us suffered many bites) and detritus of squashed mosquitos on walls left by previous occupants. Coffee filter filthy and no kettle to properly boil water. The location was excellent, so perhaps accounts for the “10” scores, but for the price the apartment fails on all counts. The advertising is extremely misleading and the host pointed to the decay as part of its charm appreciated by others. We are frequent VBRO users and VRBO needs to do a better job vetting their clients and ensuring the advertising matches the product offering. We left after three days, still paying the full price for the week.

Location…location…location

This very nice apartment is located off a small park adjacent to the Arno river with easy access to two bridges. It is well stocked with linens and kitchen essentials. Adding a toaster would be helpful. Beds are comfortable and bedrooms have plenty of closet space, and electrical outlets for charging devices. The rooms are mostly furnished with antiques and collectibles and although some might consider spaces cluttered, we found comfort in our surroundings. The balcony and dining area were especially useful and enjoyable. If you are looking for updated modern furniture and surroundings this would not be a good choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our month in this home and thank Cristina for an easy check in, suggestions for visiting sites we did not have on our “must see” list, and her prompt attention to our several small requests. Outdated lived in rental

Euros only up front which it would have been easier if offered to take a credit card. Pictures make it look lovely but in reality, it was worn out. Mold in shower grout, white mold near front door, kitchen had old worn out utensils, air conditioning units did not work over night in the heat of July and no toilet paper restocked so had to ask for some, light bulb in bathroom was out. Location was really good so that was the only saving grace.

Fantastic flat and host

Great location, great, roomy facilities. Emmanuel was very helpful laying out the neighborhood and highlights of Florence. We appreciated that he communicated quickly the few times we needed help. A sentimental piece of jewelry was left behind and Emmanuel made arrangements for it to be returned to us. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Stellar location and view of the river/city

It's going to be hard to beat this location in Florence, with peaceful dusk and dawn views of the river and city. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourism roads, it is easy to walk to anywhere in the city you want to go, and we never had a problem with the taxi services picking us up or dropping us off from this location either. The host also gave us many great ideas to explore and eat around the city during our check-in. The accommodations are nice too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

COOL PAD!

GREAT OLD WORLD FEEL - SPACIOUS... THIS LOCATION IS GREAT. A LARGE BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE ARNO RIVER AND A FEW MINUTE WALK TO PONTE VECCHIO BRIDGE AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS.

Great apartment on the Arno

We enjoyed the quiet location close to the heart of everything. We could walk where we wanted within minutes. The apartment itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The mornings and evenings on the balcony are why we chose this property, and they did not disappoint. We would choose this apartment again.

Perfect location in Florence

This apartment is south of the Arno River very close to the Ponte Vecchio (you cannot see it from the apartment but if you walk out onto the sidewalk you can see it). It’s away from the more touristy areas which is wonderful, but it is a short walk to everything we wanted to see or do, and near many great restaurants. The apartment is huge, with 2 bedrooms with larger beds and 2 full baths downstairs, as well as a large living area, entry and even a little reading/writing nook that looks out onto the park that is in front of the building. Upstairs is a kitchen (there were no towels of any kind, we bought a roll of paper towels), another small full bathroom with a clothes washer, and a twin size bed in a small bedroom. There is also a large private balcony overlooking the park and river. The house is furnished with antiques and paintings. Emanuele was very helpful and a wonderful host. We would recommend this apartment.

Last night in Italy

We rented this apartment for our last night in Italy. We were returning from our week in Tuscan countryside near Siena and needed a place to stay one night. This place is ideally situated and very close to so many wonderful restaurants. Ponte Vecchio and Florence city center is a very short walk away. We arrived early and requested to drop our suitcases off so we could see the sites unencumbered. Emmanuel was very accommodating and let us have the keys early. Only negative- Kitchen is poorly stocked. Could not find napkins/paper towels or any kind of towels.

Old fashioned apartment so close to the town centre. Walked everywhere. Host was supportive with our needs from giving a map for all the local amenities, dropping bags off early and trying to sort out airport transfers. Brilliant. Loved it. Please can we come back next year? xxx

I'd stay here forever

This is the most charming, authentic-for-the-city, wonderful place we've stayed on VRBO. The location is excellent, right across the river from all the sights. The host was thorough and friendly and helpful in getting us settled in to our apartment and Florence. Filled with antiques, art, and comfortable areas throughout, I wish our stay had been longer.

Fantastic

This is an amazing place in an even more amazing location! Right on the south side of the Arno with ponte Vecchio just a short distance and the Uffizi across the river. Very comfortable and roomy house. 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with outdoor spaces. And of course we have Florence!

Perfect stay

Incredible apartment in the perfect location for us visiting our daughter studying in Florence. Convenient location to walk to everything but quiet enough to relax in a private setting overlooking the river off the park. Can’t wait to come back!
