David is a lovely host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Uralba, the home had a very warm and cosy feel.
We were a group of 7, here for our annual snow trip and stayed for 5 nights. We found the travel distance from here to the snow fields quite reasonable, and wouldn't hesitate to book here again in the future.
Was a very cozy and inviting home on a quiet street. Beautiful views and everything you need for a get away. Fire place helped keep the house warm and we were pleased to find plenty of fire wood. Would definitely go again!
8 people (3 adults and 5 kids) had the best holiday ever! Spacious and comfortable house with everything you need - comfortable beds, linen and towels, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, TV with the DVDs, WiFi and the fireplace!!! Walking distance to the lake and 20 minutes drive to Jindabyne. Everyone loved it and can't wait to come back again!
Our family group of 4 adults and one child loved our 2 nights in this warm, atmospheric 2 storey alpine house. Although it is not large it feels spacious and there is plenty of room in the open plan living area. The kitchen is new and well equipped. All furnishings and linen are fresh and everything is very clean. Heating, TV reception and the shower are all excellent.
The full length windows of the living area face north (sun!) and the adjacent pasture land. The days started with kangaroos and magpies who were followed by cows, sheep and wagtails. A perfect relaxing place to stay or to come home to after a day on the slopes.
I was charged $400 for cleaning but made to clean the property before leaving. Restrictions were added on use of heaters. Was hard to survive with little kids đ
Uralba is owned by the Frith family and is used primarily as a holiday escape for close family and friends. Uralba was built in 1982 and has recently undergone significant renovations internally in line with local short term rental standards.
Uralba is a very cosy house close to Lake Jindabyne and the ski fields. During summer months you can access the internationally accredited mountain bike trails around Thredbo, fly fishing on the Snowy and Thredbo rivers as well as Lake Jindabyne. You can also easily access the lake to go kayaking and there are some great beaches all around the lake. Kalkite is only 15 minutes drive to Jindabyne where you can access grocery shopping, coffee shops, ski, fishing and mountain bike retail stores.
