Terrasse avec ponton couvert ! Gîte au bord du lac à Ozark

From the Owner: Hi Ronnie, we were happy that you found the area and lake beautiful. We strive with each booking to provide our guests with a 5-star experience and we're sorry to see we did not provide that for you.

Hi Margaret, thank you for your review! The homeowner wanted to share the following: We are sorry you had issues with the heat in the house. If you had contacted us we would have assisted you with that issue. The house is equipped with electric heat and guests can set the temperature so that they are comfortable. We are sorry you weren’t completely satisfied. We hope you were still able to enjoy your vacation. We have had such positive reviews in the past. We work very hard to ensure all guests have a 5-star experience at our vacation home!

Hi Wayne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We understand that not everyone is comfortable with the presence of pet hair, and we're sorry if this impacted your wife's experience. After speaking with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:-As a pet-friendly property, we do our best to ensure that the home is thoroughly cleaned after any pets have stayed. However, it’s possible that some traces may remain, and we apologize if that was the case during your visit.-We're glad to hear you might consider returning with your fishing buddies, and we'd love to welcome you back for another stay. Thanks again for your feedback, and we hope you had a great time overall!

Hi Brett, the right setting can make all the difference for a relaxing stay, so we're sorry to hear parts of the experience didn’t match your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and they wanted to share the following: - We're a bit surprised by the comment about needing to drive to access the water, as the property is lakefront with a private dock, swim ladder, and lily pad float available exclusively for guest use. - The home is located in a quieter part of Lake of the Ozarks, which many guests specifically choose for a peaceful, less crowded experience. - While the nearby marina may have been closed, we’ll review our listing details to ensure amenities and local access points are clearly noted for future guests. Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us continue to provide clear expectations and great stays.

Hi Elyse, we’re glad that you enjoyed the lake access, fishing tips, and beautiful views from the upper deck, but we’re sorry that some aspects fell short of your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:– The driveway was paved with concrete last year, where it used to be gravel, to make it easier for guests to navigate.– While the size of the bathroom can’t be changed, it’s shown in our listing photos along with the studio’s square footage so guests have an accurate idea of the space.– The mattress was purchased new last year, though we understand that comfort preferences can be quite subjective.Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience.

Hi Kelly, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. We genuinely appreciate your input, and we want you to know that we value your opinion. We have relayed your comments to the homeowner, and they would like to address your concerns: -"We apologize for the Wifi and television issue you experienced during your stay. There was an equipment malfunction from our single source supplier in our rural area, and despite our efforts to get it resolved while you were there, unfortunately, it was not fixed until after you had already left. We understand the inconvenience this may have caused and apologize for any disruptions to your stay. -Regarding the driveway, we want to clarify that it is made of concrete and not gravel, ensuring that traction is not an issue. While we understand that it is steep, we assure you that it is still usable and safe for vehicles. Additionally, we do have alternative parking available, albeit not as close to the house, but it is within a reasonable distance. We make sure to mention the steepness of the driveway and the availability of alternative parking in our welcome email, so guests are aware of this before their arrival. Once again, we genuinely thank you for sharing your concerns, and we hope that despite these challenges, you were still able to enjoy your stay."

The homeowner would like to note that they've hired a new cleaning service and have made the appropriate changes and upgrades where necessary. We appreciate you letting us know of your concerns as it gives us the means to improve and provide 5-star experiences moving forward.
