Great and Comfortable Place

The house was nice and held up to all expectations. Really close to the ocean which is super convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beachfront stay

The property was wonderful for our entire stay. Youre a very short walk from the beach where you can enjoy the day before cooling off at the house. All the amenities you could want to enjoy your time. My partner and I are already talking about staying here on our next trip!

Fantastic home on the beach.

Fantastic property. Clean and steps from a beach that was NOT crowded. It’s an easy drive into town if you feel like leaving the peace and quiet of a the secluded beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The house is great. It’s less than a 1 minute walk to the beach. The area is quiet and away from the more populated areas.

Great Place!

This house was great. Very clean and well taken care of. The walk to the beach is so short. The house was a great size for our two families. The bunk room was a great room to have. House was well stocked with beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, boards, toys, etc) Will definitely keep this on our list of houses to stay in!

Loved the proximity to the beach even if there wasn't a great view of the ocean. It's visible, but you can't see the waves unless they're higher than a couple feet. The check in process requiring a stop at the office was a little inconvenient because all the information would have been now efficient in an email, but it was only a few min pitstop. House was spacious and the large bunk beds was nice, but the top bunks didn't seem safe for my littles because the mattresses were almost at the same level of the hand rails. Would definitely stay again.

Great place! Perfect for our family vacay. Close walk to beach, 2-4min. Had garage closet w beach stuff. Small issues w dishwasher not working, or operator error. And curtain, TP & towel brackets not anchored. But did not affect our stay

Awesome Week at the Beach

Our stay at Kalimba Kabana was great. The house was very well organized and equipped for everyone to have a relaxing stay. It was a very short walk to the beach and the house has a small assortment of beach toys in the downstairs storage room. All appliances were up to date and everything worked without exception. Reed's checkin/checkout process was simple and straight forward. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. This was our 5th year to visit the Fort Morgan area and we can say the Kalimba Kabana is one of the best places to enjoy your stay. - Cheers

Place was nice. For the price I felt like it was a little high. Amenities were OK, I get why they only provide one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, but I think you could put a little more into that, to make it more convenient for your guests. Making your guests clean up by putting the dishes away makes for a surprise when you pull out plates and bowls for dinner, coffee cups for morning coffee and they are dirty. I don't want to trust my stay to the last guests ability to use a dishwasher. Grill is a fire hazard and needs to be replaced, basically fell apart when we moved it, so we only used it one night when we had plans to cook 3-4 times on it. Just some heads up for the owners, but it was not a bad stay. A few improvements and it would be fantastic.

Please note that we do not provide grills at our properties due to the salty air in our area rusting them out so fast. I'll be sure to have someone on our maintenance team to remove the grill that was left behind be a previous guest. We hope to get another opportunity to meet them in the future.

Great location

The beach was steps away and the views were great! We enjoyed our tea on the back porch with an amazing view! The master bedroom was spacious. The management company was responsive in trying to turn on the heat. We eventually were able to figure it out to make the house temperature more comfortable. Overall great stay!

Relaxation!!

We loved the property. This was our first stay in Fort Morgan, and it was awesome. Laid back, very quiet, very peaceful, extremely relaxing. Kalimba Kabanna did not disappoint. It was just as described. Meticulously cleaned, very well maintained, nicely furnished, and a very short walk to the beach. We will definitely be booking a spring trip back to this property and we highly recommend Reed Real estate. Great folks to deal with.

Great vacation!

Great distance to the water! Clean house. Had everything we needed! I wish I would have known they already had chairs, sand toys, a wagon and umbrella’s before I went and purchased all of it though.
