This was a lovely condo right on the beach, the view was amazing! The kitchen was adequately stocked, though they do need more glassware to accommodate six people. Also, I would recommend cotton sheets on the beds. The sheets were synthetic and after a day in the sun, not very comfortable on your skin. They were hot and the fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the mattress, super frustrating! Also detailed directions in the master bathroom on how to turn the shower on because we had to have maintenance out to help us with that, it’s not a standard mixer valve. Overall, we had a great family vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay at GullWing Beach Resort! The condo was nice, spacious, and well maintained with stunning ocean views. The beach access was perfect, the grounds were peaceful, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home — we can’t wait to come back!

Condo 802

At least twice a year my sister and I come to N. Ft Myers to check on our parents. One of the things we do is rent a condo on Ft Myers Beach. The three bedroom was a huge bonus! The lani had plenty of room. Had a view of the gulf and the bay. Was an enjoyable trip and will try to rent again. Thank you!

The unit was spacious and provided plenty of room for our 16 month old and 2 adults. It was modern and updated. Our balconies provided views of both the bay and the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was amazing. It was beautiful. I had a 9 month old and a 2 year old so the tile throughout wasn’t ideal for my crawling 9 month old. The condo itself though was great

We do want to note that the flooring is accurately shown in the listing photos, which clearly depict the hard surface flooring throughout the unit. While we understand this may not be ideal for very young children, it would not have been a surprise based on the property description and images provided prior to booking. VRBO was exactly as listed and more. They thought of every thing you’d need for a beach VRBO. They had beach towels, coolers, beach chairs and more. Very well thought out. 5 stars for the small details. Communication was iffy on when I’d hear from them but when I did they had all my questions answered. Email was best way to contact- which I didn’t know until they reached out. I did try to message on VRBO chat but no response there. But it all worked out. We were very happy and so were the kids!

Our process and protocol to responding to our guests prior to arrival has always been to reply through our email software as the messages would be received by the guests through the VRBO portal. Since your booking, we have now found out from VRBO that we must respond directly through the VRBO portal and any messages sent outside of the portal would be blocked. We apologize that you did not receive any of our initial communication to your responses prior to your arrival but we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Love the location on quiet south end of Island. Walkable to CVS and Santini Plaza.Clean, great closet with boogie boards, cooler, chairs, umbrella. The cable service did not work our last 6 days, told daily by Gullwing, parts should be in today. Still not working when we left, nothing the owners could do to correct this situation, but was disappointing as it was during the Olympics.

Family vacation

Though some things have reopened on Ft. Myers Beach, it still has a long way to go to recover from the hurricane damage. The property we stayed at is still under construction even though the unit we rented has been remodeled. The beach at this property is beautiful.

Summer beach getaway

Took a short break from the rigors of life to enjoy a few days at the beach. The location of the condo was great being just steps from the beach. Renovations are ongoing at the property from damage due to hurricane Ian but did not interfere with our vacation. The best times were spent on the screened in lanai and sitting on our beach chairs in the ocean. Overall a wonderful time away and I would definitely stay at this property again.
