Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space by the Clutha River. Serene walks and Otago cycle trails at your door step. Less than a minutes walk to a yummy French Bakery, Restaurant, Pub, Fish and Chip shop, Bottle store, Four Square and Laundrette. 4 different ski fields within a 40 minute drive: Cardrona Alpine Resort, Treble Cone, the Snow Farm, and Soho Basin.
Great stay, comfy beds, good shower and all amenities. Handy to grocery, pub, liquor store, and cafe. Clean place. Handy for a couple day trips to Cardrona
Really lovely but very expensive. We only stayed one night and did not cook or shower there so a bit on the steep side for us Kiwis but Iâm sure foreigners will happily pay the crazy prices. To be fair we had to find accommodation at the last minute and there was nothing else available.
The place is terrific and in an excellent condition. Bedrooms are comfy and kitchen is perfectly equipped. We stayed a couple of nights more than we initially intended because it was so nice.
Only downside is there is not much of a view.
Booking process was a breeze online. Location was great, adjacent to the Pembroke patisserie, coffee and fresh croissants for brekkie. Accomodation was clean and tidy, plenty of heating and nice and cozy. Close to nice walks and the 4 square. Short drive into Wanaka and surrounds. Great place to stay
Lovely little townhouse with very cosy fire in an excellent location right next to a mini supermarket, patisserie, pub and bottle shop. Great to come back to after days of skiing and drying out your gear next to the fire. Very cosy and warm in August with comfortable beds and heaters upstairs also.
My friends and I stayed here after doing a great walk and it was great. Very compact but has more than enough room for a group for a few days. Great cafe across the way too. Nice facilities
This property was professionally run, cleaned, and fitted out. We felt we were in a high quality and well maintained property. It was in a quiet location but not far from a main road. Nearby there was a small supermarket and restaurant/pub.Inside the property all the appliances worked. There was air conditioning/heat pumps in all of the rooms and a gas fire in the lounge. Everything was maintained to a high standard. WiFi connectivity was good throughout the property.
The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. We only stayed one night, but it was enjoyable. The parking for the apartment is a little further than I expected, but it wasn't bad.
this property is a perfect holiday base. supernarket, takeaway, bakery, liquor shop all right on your doorstep so super convenient when you arrive. great communication from owner. we highly recommend
This house is excellent equipped- we even enjoy the gas-fireplace. We spend e few nice days and there are a lot of things to do in area closed by.
Everything was clean and the overall procedure worked well.
Property was nice and cosy, and it was great there was plenty of heating. Convenient location with plenty of supplies and food outside, and Wanaka being a 10 minute drive away. We were missing a couple items such as a sponge and Solomon was quick to respond and rectify the issue. A walk down the river is also a must!
This is a lovely little townhouse that is literal steps away from a great restaurant and patisserie, and not far from the bountiful nature of the south island. We went to Wanaka from here and had a great time getting around. The property itself was very clean and plenty of room. We only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed our stay!The one thing I would mention is the washer/dryer: it works nice, but I advise leaving plenty of time for the dryer setting, as it takes a while and locks the washer/dryer door. There is a manual override for the lock in the manual, which was sent to us via a link by the property manager (it was not a physical manual at the property). But this is a very small thing in an otherwise wonderful stay!
After a little glitch with the property not being cleaned on our arrival, Solomon responded incredibly quickly and fixed the issue. Apart from that the premises was awesome and it's proximity to the pub and cafe was very handy.
Once you arrive, youâll never have to leave the property for the basic necessities! Youâll park your car in front of the pup, which services lunch & dinner, next door to the pub is a bakery which serves breakfast, around the corner is a grocery store and next to that is a liquor store.The owner provided very comprehensive instructions for entering the property, the townhome was clean, nicely appointed and had everything that you could ask for. Internet was fast too: over 250 MB download speeds so was able to watch Netflix on the TV in the living room without any difficulty.For activities, itâs adjacent to a river so you can go hiking. In town, youâll need to visit the Wanaka Tree which appears to be growing out of the lake. Be sure to check online for when it is high tide, otherwise the Tree is just surrounded by rocks & mudâŠWe also went hiking to Thunder Creek Falls which is in nearby Mount Aspiring National Park.Great location & hope to stay there again when we are in the area!
