Always a fun stay at this property in Gravenhurst- this was our 3rd year celebrating Christmas with the fam.. we didnt venture too far as was snow and freezing rain. tons of room, v clean, great space.

We loved the location of the cottage and enjoyed taking long boat rides on Lake Muskoka. The cottage itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. The three fridges, two dishwashers, and two dryers were perfect for our large family. We also had a great time using the water toys. While the cottage was close to the highway and nearby neighbours, it didn’t bother us at all and we still felt relaxed.

The second floor master bedroom has a lot of bug due to the unclosed window when we arrived. The property is very closed to the main road so u can basically hear everything especially on the weekend / long weekend when everywhere is very quiet. We were visiting at the long weekend and the owner requested us to remove the garbage bag to somewhere else where there’s big can in the front. We struggle to move around for 2 days just for the garbage because all of our car are pack of ppl come in and leave and most place are not open during the long weekend.

Beautiful place

Great host. Very accommodating. We had a bachelor party there with 15 people and it there were no issues was space or privacy. The location was great. On the water and close to town. Would definitely book again.

Friends reunion

Jade was very responsive to any questions we had. Check in was smooth. The property was right on the water and perfect for a group of friends with babies and young children. There was lots of water activities and equipment and a sandy area with toys for the kids to play. There was ample sitting and lounging space inside and lots of access points to get outside including a huge garage style door that connects the indoor space to the outside. The listing mentions a pool but there isn’t one (but the property has a dock leading right to Lake Muskoka). It would also have been nice to have a hose or some sort of outside water station to clean off the sand before going in (we just improvised). Overall our group had a great time and would return.

Perfect for Large Groups

Modern cottage which comfortably slept all 16 of us. Swimming off the dock, and from the small personal beach was great on the hot summer days. One of the best features was the garage style door which opens up to the large upstairs patio. The next door neighbor lot is fairly close (shared driveway) but they were not there during our stay.

GREAT LOCATION

The property has everything you need and the host does everything to make your stay as welcoming as possible. You have to be aware the parking is tight but with cooperation from the neighbouring cottage and yourself it works fine. The dock is large and can handle a few boats but the water get shallow pretty fast.( end of dock 5 feet or 1.5M) There are plenty of supplies but we ran short of paper towels and just went and got some. There are some renovations happening now but don't interfere with stay. Our family is hoping to rebook for next year. Andy

Great setting, poor communication and customer service

CONS: Too close to highway. Cleaning staff wasn't finished over an hour after check in time. Not enough towels or toilet paper--owner arrived with these supplies later. Bedding was damp, so we had to dry everything when we arrived. Had to figure things out because there were no instructions for stove, tv, garage door or recycling.The fridge leaked, the doors don't close properly. Dishwasher had an odor, so we washed dishes by hand. Water collects at the edge of the deck even when it's not raining. The stairs from the deck are weathered and in need of repair. Only 1 adult kayak (the others are for kids) and 2 paddles. The SUP was not useable. All of the water gear was grimy and soiled and needed to be cleaned before we felt comfortable using it. We had to rig bungy cords to secure the inflated trampoline to the dock. Parking was tight for 6 vehicles. I was not informed that the owner would be staying in a unit at the back of the house doing work around the property over the weekend. Owner complained about our 10:40 departure even though, two months before, the owner agreed to an 11:00 checkout. On the drive home, the owner called and blamed us for cleaning staff's inability to close the garage door, which worked just fine throughout our stay. PROS: Gorgeous lake and view. Garage door feature provides beautiful vista. Large, spacious cottage and deck. Nicely furnished, plenty of table space for meals. Big kitchen, updated bathrooms. Dock was great for fishing, swimming, yoga.

Dear Thomas: Thank you! We are really close Gravenhurst town and steamship and muskoka bay golf course. So we are use town water. About cleaners clearing, I will pay attention. If everyone check out delay, how to finished cleaning in 6 hours? When you ask me, I am agreed you check out at 11:00AM, but you need give our cleaner first floor to cleaning at 10:00AM. About view window — garage door, If you leave can closed the garage door, of course I don’t want you come back to fixed the garage door, because our cleaner can’t closing the garage door at that moment. And I didn’t want hiring some one to fixing the garage door and after to charge back from your money. We have backyard parking area, can park over ten car’s parking lots. We have people clearing another annex unit, that annex unit is totally different entrance with main rental property. Any property all have neighborhood but not the house share, that is different means. After clearing all the people leave soon. Summer time, All of the water gear put at outside, so hopefully all the clients can help us take care them. And we will build a bigger stand to care our 6 stand paddle and kayak. After the garage door matter, Thomas’s wife offered me to return $300-$500 cash, if not she will give me a terrible (bad) review. But I still disagreed this offer. Because I want fair for ours work, we do the best to give all my friends best cottage condition, let everybody enjoy the holiday, and really welcome client give us the suggestions. And we can do better and better. Please see ours summer booking schedule. we have many many clients stay at our cottage over 5 years. They are coming by every year. we did lot of maintain at our cottage by every available moment. I am very grateful for Thomas’s proposal, if it is correct I will pay attention. Thank you 🙏

Beautiful cottage, unreliable host

We booked this cottage for our wedding weekend and had many specific conversations the host beforehand ensure everything went smoothly. When we got there, the host was cleaning for an additional 2 hours after our check in time. We were also promised the entire cottage, but had to convince the host to let us use a “closed” section- which they are clearly using for personal use, and locked the bathroom so we couldn’t use it. This was extremely stressful and lead to many tears as we had a lot to do in a short amount of time. Our pictures and wedding turned out beautiful, but it’s hard to look back on the experience without the difficulties fogging our memories.

South Muskoka, Bay Muskoka, our family cottage close Gravenhurst
town, 5 minutes driving to Muskoka Bay Resort and 10 minutes diving to Taboo Muskoka Golf Resort, have many many restaurants close us, and lot of supermarket and shopping store.
Stay at our cottage, you can see the Muskoka steamship and seaplane.
Much much fun!!!
