The Oasis Chalet is a super cute single story perfect for your Big Bear getaway! Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear walking distance to Alpine Slide, Village, Lake, and National Forest hiking trails. Beautiful and newly remodeled, with many upgrades and open concept layout.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 800+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a king bed. Second bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Appliances, stove with oven, refrigerator, filtered water system, blender, 4-slice toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Smart TVs and streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Fully fenced backyard with corn hole. Back deck with natural gas barbecue, patio table with chairs, and umbrella.

This is a charming cabin with beautiful pine trees all around. It is very clean and the contemporary kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The main room is a great gathering place with comfortable and practical furniture and a classic fireplace. There is a fenced backyard which is excellent for dogs and children to explore along with a nice deck for relaxing. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent this Oasis Chalet again.

Great location. Clean. Comfortable. Cornhole in the backyard. EV Charge. Kitchen well stocked.No A/C made it uncomfortable in the early evening. Stormdoor needs repair.

Very Relaxing

My daughter and I had a very nice stay at Oasis Chalet. The pictures show exactly how the house looks. I would recommend taking good walking shoes if you are going to walk to the village. It is an easy walk to get there but coming back is mostly uphill. I loved the kitchen and the cute appliances. We also enjoyed the stereo/turntable.

Wish this was our property!

We felt at home and the descriptions/photos were on point. Peaceful neighborhood and very close to hiking trails/picnic area; alpine slide and the village (which had delicious food and wonderful to walk around). The back yard was enclosed and perfect for our dogs. Beds and bedding very comfortable...in fact, we want to find out where they got their pillows. It is going to cost us a little because we loved their toaster and are going to buy one. The remodel is great and we really appreciated how clean every part of the house was!! Definitely would stay again.

Cool cabins is not the best. There are hidden charges and cameras they dont warn you about.

We strive to be transparent about all charges and policies, including the use of cameras on the property for security purposes. These homes are privately owned and I am sure if you owned one yourself and rented it out you would also have security cameras. This is very common and not for the owner to spy on you. We hope you understand.

Overall fine stay

The place was fine but it was dark. The light bulb by the back door inside the cabin was out. So were a couple of lightbulbs on the night stands. The oven also had a strange smell. We opted for microwaving instead but we preferred to use the over. It wasn’t enough for us to complain so overall good but could use some attention for a 5-star rating.

Great weekend with my college aged son!

Wonderful cabin on a great side of town. We loved that we could walk to the market/alpine coaster/restaurants. The home was clean and comfy. The area is convenient, pretty, and ideal. For summer stays, there is no central air, however, cool nights are in abundance, and we weren’t home during the head of the day anyway. The company was kind. Make sure to book your stay with a card that has your name on it as this caused a little extra work for the booking agent and our party (paid with Apple Pay and shared account had my husband’s name and not my name but he was not travelling). They made a paper copy of my credit card at check in which made me a bit uncomfortable.

Not As Advertised

If this place was cleaned up, it could be okay for someone with fairly low expectations. It appears to be a pre manufactured home that isn’t taken care of. We battled a lot of ants that were endlessly all over the kitchen countertop, in any food, vegetables, fruit, etc. left out, all over the coffee table, furniture, and in the beds. And they bite! Cobwebs flowing from the ceiling hanging from the curtain rods, and in all the corners. Sits in the sun, so very hot throughout the day. We requested to talk to the owners, but were ignored. Our adult kids live there and came to visit daily and brought their dogs. The owners apparently are watching the cameras all the time and immediately had us charged for 3 dogs full-time on the property. When we asked to talk to them, we were ignored. Definitely would not recommend this location with so many other choices.

As we discussed over the phone the property you booked only allows for 1 small dog and you ignored that rule and brought over 3 large dogs. Now I understand you were charged for the dogs being at the property for 3 days, however, we refunded you the pet fee as discussed and mentioned that talking to the owner was not an option as these homes are privately owned and we simply can't give out the owners personal information. Your question was never ignored, and you're giving out false information as we helped you.
