A converted 1921 Shop / Bakery is now "The Old Bakery Guest House", located in the heart of Robertson, Southern Highlands
This unique FOUR bedroom house has it's own style and charm to make you feel comfortable like at home
Perfect place for long weekend to enjoy hikes, award winning bakeries, rustic village pubs, cooler climate wineries, art galleries and beautiful shops in Robertson and the southern highlands area
This place is even better than the pictures. Comfy beds, amazing furnishings and amenities. The bathrooms are top notch as well. Communication was easy as was the check in. Robertson is beautiful, and a great pub and cafe are in easy walking distance. We hope to be back!
Property is perfectly located. Easy walk to everything. From the moment we walked up the white pebble path we knew there was something special here. Great place to totally unwind with friends. Accommodation will not disappoint.
Great fit out and still showing respect of the old bakery site. Central location for the Southern Highland attractions and a short walk to local Robertson restaurants and shops.
This is the second time we've stayed here, and we hope to also return in the future. It's a gorgeously renovated property & was very comfortable for our family of four. The location is fantastic, we love visiting Robertson. Iain's very easy to deal with. Highly recommended!
The Old Bakery House is a lovely and beautiful house for a weekend away. Cozy and warm plus comfy beds.
Robertson is a small village but with delicious food options and close to nice bushwalks and a great base for exploring the Southern Highlands.
Iain, the host, is attentive and provided great suggestions for places to visit and eat at.
Would love to return.
What a fabulous house, with great art works on all the walls. The house is beautifully presented and has a great amount of space for families. And our children feel in love with the fish! Would be keen to stay again and wouldnât hesitate to recommend it to others.
A lovely home right in the township of Robertson. There were 4 large bedrooms for our group. The kitchen is huge and well equipped, we enjoyed the coffee machine. A freezer would have been a good addition. The home was a great place to relax, the only thing we would have loved would be heavier curtains or blackout blinds for a better sleep. It was easy to find and access. For those confused by the listing there is an adjoining studio style home at the front (connected by doors) with another bedroom (makes 5), living space and kitchen, bathroom. Would stay again!
Fantastic accommodation in the Southern Highlands. Perfect for a family.
We really enjoyed our stay over the Easter long weekend. There are lots of quirky finishes to the house. Perfect for a family of four adults. We cooked up a storm in the amazing and huge kitchen with space for all to do some food preparation. Loved the potbelly stove. A visit to Belmore Falls was a delight as was driving to Burrawang via Wildes Meadow. Moonacres is always great for fabulous sour dough bread and great coffee. Thanks to Iain and Kamila for hosting us.
We hit the jackpot with our stay at the Old Bakery while attending a family wedding at the hotel. The amazingly appointed place was beautiful, comfortable, and well located. Extremely happy.
Only thing to note is that we were unable to have our elderly parents stop in for a coffee as they would have been unable to walk across the very deep path of loose rocks leading to the entry from the back. Someone using a mobility aid would need to highlight their requirements with the owners (who I'm sure would find a way to accommodate/find alternatives - they are lovely people).
Again - amazing place and we'd definitely book again!
Stayed over Christmas so the area was nice and quiet for relaxing. House was spotless and well located. The area of Robertson is lovely with its green surrounding countryside and a short drive to the pretty historic town of Moss Vale with good pub food. Iain was easy to contact, even though he was overseas on holiday, as we did have a little issue with the cooker knob, which he helped us to get resolved.
I booked this house for my family to stay. The age ranged from 2yrs to 75yrs.
Every body really enjoyed staying in the old bakery, it was a very inviting and comfortable place to stay. All members of the family were comfortable, and found the house and appliances easy to navigate and use.
We would stay here again and would defiantly recommend others to do so. Iain and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. Any question I asked was answered promptly.
I give the old bakery and Iain 10 out of 10.
