Cabane dans une ferme de bovins Highland en activité dans le Kentucky

Thank you so much Timothy, for staying with us! I’m so glad your family was able to enjoy a quiet weekend here on the farm. One of my favorite things about Highland Haven is the peaceful setting and the feeling of being tucked away from everything. We truly enjoyed having you and would love to welcome your family back again!

We're sorry the unexpected internet outage affected your stay. Once we learned the modem had failed, we worked with our provider for several hours, replaced the equipment, and restored service in just over 12 hours. Highland Haven is a rural ranch cabin designed to offer guests a relaxed, authentic country experience, and we take pride in keeping the home, furnishings, and amenities clean and maintained. We appreciate your feedback regarding the bedroom and cooling setup and we take the cleanliness and care of our cabin very seriously, something consistently reflected in the many reviews from guests who have stayed with us. While unexpected equipment failures can occur, we're committed to responding quickly when they do.

Thank you Sherri, so much for your thoughtful review. We are glad you felt comfortable in the cabin and were able to enjoy a relaxing stay. It was a pleasure getting to visit with you and your family. We love that you had the chance to spend time with the Highland. Those moments often become the sweetest memories. We would be honored to host you again for a longer visit.

From the owner: "Thank you, Melissa! We are honored to provide you with a peaceful getaway. We look forward to having you again!"

Thank you so much John for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you found serenity here on the farm. There’s nothing quite like sipping coffee while the deer wander by and the Highland graze. Thank you for staying with us and for appreciating the quiet beauty of the place we love to share. We look forward to your next stay with us at Highland Haven!

From the owner: "Thank you, Brent! We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Highland Haven! We are honored to have you celebrate your anniversary with us! Here's to many more happy memories!"

From the owner: "Thank you, Drena! It was a pleasure meeting you and your friends! It is always fun to share the joy of our Highland and their new babies with our guests. Hope to see you all again soon!"

From the owner:"Thank you, Jenna, for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review! We are delighted to hear that our farm provided a beautiful escape from the city and that you enjoyed the peace and quiet of your getaway. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to see you back again soon for another great time!"

From the Owner: "Thank you so much Stephanie, for your kind words! I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay, especially the views and spending time with the Highland — they love the extra attention! It was such a pleasure having you here, and I am glad I could help make your visit special. I completely understand the mention of the sketchy phone and internet service. Being in such a rural part of Eastern Kentucky means we trade a bit of connectivity for peaceful surroundings and wide-open views. We are always looking for ways to improve, but sometimes unplugging a little adds to the charm of the experience. I would love to welcome you back anytime — the Highland and I will be here waiting!"

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your kind words Michael! We’re thrilled to hear the cabin had everything you needed and that you enjoyed the breathtaking views it's one of our favorite things about the cabin too. It means a lot to us to know you enjoyed your stay, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!"

Hi Kraig, the homeowner would like to share the following: We are glad you were able to relax during your visit We understand the drive can be a challenge. To minimize the mud and allow the heavy farm equipment to pass, gravel is needed to provide drainage. We definitely recommend traveling slowly and steadily in any vehicle and or bike while driving on the farm. We hope to have another opportunity to host you in the future when you need some rest and relaxation!

From the Owner: "Thank you, Peggy! We are honored to have given you and your husband a man ch needed respite. We hope to do so again in the near future"

Thank you Carrie for your kindness! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay here on the farm and found our area of KY as much fun as we do! Please come again and continue your exploration of our little slice of paradise!

From the owner: "Thank you, Bethany! We love to share our Highland and farm with others! It was our pleasure to have you stay with us and to take you on a tour to see the Highland firsthand. We look forward to your next stay here at Highland Haven!"

From the owner:"Thank you, Terri! I’m so glad you enjoyed the cabin and the handmade touches—we loved having you. It means a lot that you felt relaxed and welcomed (especially by our furry friends!). I hope you’ll come back soon for that farm tour and a peek at the homemade goods. You’re always welcome at Maynard’s Triple M!"

From the owner: "Thank you Kristen! We are so glad you were able to relax while working. Thank you for thinking of us for your work retreat. We hope to see you again!"

From the owner: "Thank you, Curtis, for sharing such a lovely review! It makes me so happy to hear that your family, especially your little one, enjoyed the cabin and the Highland cows. I can just imagine him by the window watching them and listening to their moos—that’s such a special memory! I’m thrilled Highland Haven was just the right fit for your stay, and I’d love to welcome you all back whenever you’re in the area again!"

Shared from the homeowner: "Thank you, Anthony! We loved having your family stay on the farm. The boys were super cute and precocious! It was a true pleasure sharing the best our farm has to offer. Please come back and see us!"

From the owner: "Thank you so much, Sean, for this heartfelt review! It’s truly an honor to hear that your wife had such a memorable birthday getaway and that her love for Highland cows brought you both to Highland Haven. To know this experience ranks as her favorite—especially compared to your honeymoon in Grenada—is incredibly humbling! It was such a pleasure meeting you both and sharing our passion for these amazing animals. I’m so glad you enjoyed the cozy charm of the cabin and that the big window gave her the perfect spot to watch the herd, especially the calves. Moments like those are what make life on the farm so special, and it means the world to us to share that with our guests. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another visit. Thank you again for letting us be part of such a special celebration!"

From Owner: "Thank you for your kind words. We loved getting to meet you, and your family! It's always a pleasure to share our slice of heaven with those who appreciate it as much as we do! We look forward to having you and your family again."

From the owner: "Thank you, Matthew! It was our pleasure to have you and your family stay with us! We hope that your house hunting was fruitful and you will be joining us to live in the area. We love it here and think you will too! Please let your kiddos know I did receive the beautiful artwork they left for me! With your permission, I would like to frame it and display it! Elli misses her little playmates!"

Hi Kelsey, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay. After reading your review, the homeowner wanted to address the following points:- Communication is managed through Evolve to ensure clear and documented exchanges, which helps streamline the process for all guests.- The optional farm experiences are highlighted as add-ons in the listing and guest binder, and their costs are not included in the base rental fee.- The cabin offers both a full and queen bed for comfort and instructions for the cooling system are provided in the guest binder. Given your January stay, with average temperatures of 24–41°F, it’s unusual that cooling the cabin would be a significant concern.- Our records do show that timely responses were sent, as our guest inquiries are always treated as a priority.Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate your thoughts, as they help us improve future stays.

Thank you Penny, so much for such a thoughtful review! I have to admit, our welcoming committee takes their job very seriously, and I love that one of those big dog grins became a core memory for you and your daughter. We truly enjoyed having your family here. Brent and I love sharing the farm, and what goes into this life, so it was a pleasure getting to spend that time with you both. I absolutely love that your husband spent hours just standing outside watching the Highland. I also wanted to share an update since your stay. At the time, rural internet options in our area were extremely limited, but we have since been able to switch to a new provider and now have much faster, far more reliable internet at the cabin. So future visits can still include plenty of disconnecting and cow watching, just with much better Wi-Fi when you actually want it! Thank you again for staying with us and for embracing everything that makes this place special. We would love to have your family back again!
