The apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with cooktop, microwave and bar fridge. There is also an outdoor dining setting where you can relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes, pre dinner drinks and alfresco dining.

You will enjoy the comfort of a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed.

"What A View" is part of the Searene apartments and has an infinity edge pool with a spa that is positioned to take in the most amazing views of the Coral Sea and Hayman Island. This is a great designed complex that is sure to leave a lasting impression on your family and friends.

This is a dual key property, so you also have the option to book the 2 bedroom apartment next door if you have friends or family that would like to join you.

The apartment is fully air conditioned, has free unlimited Wi-Fi, a washing machine and clothes dryer and an elevator that takes you up to your apartment floor. There is also 1 secure undercover car space.

Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night). What A View Studio Airlie Beach

The View Vs. That Hill?!

Reviewer Comments: Whitsunday Holiday Rentals, who we booked this property through; were very good. The side service of booking an airport shuttle & car rental through Heart of Reef was very convenient & the staff of those services were so friendly & helpful. The accommodation itself was a bit dated and definitely needed some maintenance, as a few things were broken and the cleaning was questionable. The view is obviously why you stay here and endure that hill walk!

Breathtaking View

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is seriously perfect and THE selling point of the accommodation. The studio itself is pretty but tired and lacking attention to detail. It was clean enough, but not spotless and the bed can only be described as uncomfortable. We had an awesome holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the view, but I wouldn't stay here again. There was a lot of miscommunication in the booking office. I spoke with a different person with every dealing and they all had conflicting information when trying to organise a late check out. In the end we didn't bother and went out for the day and put our luggage in storage in town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are going to Airlie Beach to unplug this is the place for you, close to downtown, amazing views, and perfect size for a couple. The internet is non-existent though, so for someone foreign it's not ideal. The pool is also no drinking which is kind of a bummer if you want to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind in the spa.

The best view in Airlie Beach.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most wonderful time at this rental. It easily had the best view in Airlie Beach of the Whitsundays - was simply stunning. Highly recommend and the area was very quiet and relaxing. It is roughly 25 min walk to town centre (as a fit person) but we were happy to do this as we enjoy being active. There were slight issues with cleanliness (i.e. some areas had not been cleaned prior to us entering), but the positive points override those issues.Would mention if you have mobility issues, not a good fit as the elevator was broken for the entire 10 days we stayed there and the hill is incredibly steep. Please keep in mind when booking if you have such issues. Otherwise this is a MUST book!

This property was nicely decorated and had a wonderful view! It was very quiet and not very noisy. However our door didn’t lock and had to get the property manager to fix it. The air con also wasn’t working and the wifi was not available. It was a little bit disappointing that some of these advertised features weren’t available but we weren’t too fussed.

The best part of our stay at this property was the view - I could sit there and admire it all day! The furniture was serviceable and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the fixtures were dated. The kitchenette was tiny and definitely a one person area but did the job. The biggest disappointment was the strength of the wifi, it was a struggle to check emails, upload photos and FaceTime with family. It also meant the smart tv was unable to be used to watch Netflix.

Mixed Bag

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accomodation itself was spacious, clean, and has fantastic views of the water. It is conveniently located a 15 minute walk from the centre of Airlie Beach though if walking there is a steep hill to climb. However, we did encounter some issues with our stay. 1) we found the booking process frustrating, and had to re book after our initial booking was cancelled after we had paid for it. We were then required to spend additional money on a different room with no discount for the inconvenience;2) the wifi did not work and despite providing this feedback at the time, no support was provided;3) while there is a small kitchen area, very minimal basics such as salt/pepper are provided despite shakers being included. Minimal tea and coffee is provided;4) while the complex has good facilities (pool etc), there is not a very welcoming atmosphere with signs/notices etc everywhere listing things that cannot be done, excessive rules etc.
