Oui, il y a un arrêt de bus à 5 minutes à pied de la maison.
Il n'y a pas de baignoires seulement des douches. Certains meubles sont modernes et plus bas, juste une tête à ceux qui peuvent avoir du mal avec ça.

Comfortable, but not luxurious

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent three weeks at Palmera and enjoyed our stay. The house is generally well laid out and equipped. Altamira staff were very responsive and generally helpful with the things that needed attention. The hot tub came up to temperature very quickly (which was great) and after some adjusting with Altamira staff, the pool also was warm enough to swim in during the colder days. Not having a real "dining room" with a table (there is a bar stool table with seating for six next to the kitchen) is a problem for having any indoor meal for more than four people. The other challenge with the house is that the primary bedroom's bathroom (i.e., toilet) is completely open to the bedroom (i.e., no door). That can really be uncomfortable for guests. The house's furnishing could also use some upgrading, but are ok. I would say that the house is comfortable, but far from luxurious. The carpets are worn looking and need replacing.

My review is a little different because there was a small issue with the house that we rented prior to our arrival. Lars contacted us immediately and gave us two other home options to pick from at no additional charge. They were extremely accommodating and very thorough. The home we eventually stayed in was beautiful as well and had everything that we needed. Thank you for the beautiful stay! Will contact them again on our next trip to Palm Springs!

Very nice house

House was very nice and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great. Well-equipped kitchen. Very good location. Quiet street.However, it might not be the best location if you want some privacy. Two bathrooms have windows that look out to the backyard (no curtains). The other bathrooms is not walled off from the master bedroom -- it's all just basically one room. Another bedroom (off the living room) has just a sliding barn door.And the backyard could have used a little love before we got there. Tables were dirty; the lighter on the grill didn't work; random junk lying around.

Palmera Paradise

There were four of us, all senior citizens, one with Parkinson's Disease, taking advantage of this location. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor backyard patio, covered areas as well as the swimming pool. The following comment is to address access in/out of the pool which is by stairs only. There is no handrail that our one friend could use to enter/exit the pool and had to rely on someone for his safety. The inside rooms were well appointed and we loved having the Keurig machine (it got replaced as the one we found on day 1 was inoperable) to make easy cups of coffee for 4 people on the go at different times. Well stocked kitchen. (Again, following comment applies to us: we did not care for the shag rug under the kitchen table as it was a tripping hazard for seniors but likely won't affect other guests). We had some issues with plumbing and the Altamira Rental folks were stellar in trying to address our issues and for the most part, they succeeded. The location of the property in a quiet Neighbourhood was so relaxing. We could walk to different locations/stores and even walked into downtown Palm Springs on a few occasions during our 18 day stay. The only real complaint we have is that the TV service (Direct TV I believe) was pretty pathetic in that we only received about six channels that were of interest to us - way too many shopping channels and other irrelevant content. A better subscription to another provider is warranted. We truly did enjoy our stay at Palmera!

Excellent escape from winter

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this property because of the pool & variety of outdoor spaces in which to relax- we used all of them. Every.Single.Day. No disappointments there and one of us even swam circular "laps" for exercise. Recommend the pool heating in Nov- it was essential. The pool & palm tree lights were so cozy during our evening time in the hot tub. Fireplaces (in & out) saw good use. Be aware, this time of year, the house falls into the mountain shadow quite early in the day (2:30-3p) but gets glorious sun for morning coffee outside. Convenient location within town, felt safe out walking/running, quiet neighborhood. Home could use just a few minor touch ups here & there to be closer to pristine (e.g. shower grout) but it was clean and perfectly fine. We did find the 2nd bath (grey in the pics) to be much smaller & darker than appeared in photos- not easy to navigate for the 2 grandparents in our group. There were a lot of throw rugs which we also found to be a bit of a tripping hazard, maybe that's just us. These are minor in the big picture. Master views of the mountains and palms was a treat! The house was wonderful indoor-outdoor living. Can't say enough about the communication w/ Lars and Jessie at Altamira who were gracious in letting us know ahead of time about an oven issue and helping with a mid-stay issue that arose. Total pros and that sort of service & attention to detail is priceless. We would rent this same house again & would stick w/ Altamira properties in general w/ good confidence.

Gorgeous home in an amazing location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paradise Found was the perfect home for a long weekend getaway. The property is Palm Springs mid century modern at its finest. The circular pool is so unique and the perfect temperature to cool off in the summer heat. There are rafts and umbrellas and plenty of lounge chairs and big nice beach towels. There’s even a bathroom off one of the rooms for pool access. We all thought the rooms were tastefully decorated with the Palm Springs vibe and the beds were super comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and serving dishes (they had tons of spices!). They have plenty of wine glasses, champagne flutes, a cocktail shaker and a blender to make cocktails. We made plenty of craft cocktails and even utilized the grapefruits from their trees!!! We loved the location for its quiet streets for morning walks. The house is also close to many amazing restaurants and there’s a convenient/liquor store a block away if you forget anything. There are hiking trails nearby as well. The three bedrooms make it perfect for 3 couples to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Reviewer Comments: Home location is great, only a short walk to downtown Palm Springs.Unfortunately, the photos on the website look nothing like present day!The home is very tired, a refresh of paint and staining of cupboards would certainly help. Sofa's are soiled and unstructured, difficult for an elder to sit in for a period of time. Beds and bedding could do with an up grade, 2nd Master bedroom has no dresser draws, your sharing a closet with the electronics in the house and bar fridge in this bedroom runs constantly.Overall, their seems to be a lack general maintenance to the home.

Great property, really good location... LOVED the backyard/pool.

This house has a cool Palm Springs vibe. Walking distance to some good restaurants (and coffee). Also within walking distance to a great trail in the hills west of Palm Springs. We love to walk...so some of this will be a 1 to 2 mile or so walk. I really enjoyed the backyard and swimming pool.

Backyard oasis

This a great place for some relaxation! The excellent backyard space is just like the photos (minus the television) and truly invites you to spend your time out there. The grapefruits and meyer lemons were delicious and juicy in February. The location is fine, but it would be better if you had a car, which we did not. We saw other reviews that mentioned the bath towels were not good quality. We did not experience that; we found the towels to be quite plush and seemed new. We did have an issue with the pool/spa heater on our last day there and emailed Altamira Rentals. Within 20 minutes, the pool guy showed up to look at it. He had to order a part to fix it, which would not be there until the next day, but that is not the fault of the rental company. The response was better than expected and they compensated for the inconvenience. We would stay here again if we to go back to Palm Springs and wouldn’t hesitate to rent another property from Altamira Rentals.

Great views and outdoor space

We loved our time in this house especially the view overlooking the pool from the master bedroom to the mountains beyond. It accomodated our group of friends with two of the three bedrooms a generous size and the third quite manageable. The kitchen is well stocked but the dining area attached is 'compact' --to be charitable-- so plan on your meals out or around the pool. Pool and hot tub and surrounding gathering spots were perfect!

Beautiful

Great location and absolutely beautiful home. We only had to contact the management company once (I couldn't find a light switch outside) and they responded promptly. I'd definitely stay here again.

The home was very well appointed for our cooking/grilling needs, very clean, the pool and hot tub worked perfectly, we really enjoyed our stay top to bottom and would definitely stay here again. The only unfortunate part is that there is a noise ordinance in the city and it is abundantly clear you cannot play ANY music at any volume outside at any time. It is not specific to the house, just the city. Other than that, which the house cannot control, it was truly perfect. Thank you to management for making our stay warm and welcoming!

Summer vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice relaxing stay. Pool was great and 6’ deep in the middle. Sides a little rough but we just kept our feet up. Inside is very nice Second master does not have a door only a curtain bit rooms are on opposite sides of the house.

Paradise Found

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and backyard were a true paradise. Clean and modern living and truly relaxing backyard. The check-in process is a little challenging when you are trying to enjoy your vacation but have to coordinate to meet in person with rental company during office hours.

Great House but wasnt very Clean

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the Palmera residents, pool was great, house was well equipped with all living essentials, dishes etc. Excellent BBQ area. My only complaint is that the carpets in the house were not very clean, the pool furniture/couches/loungers were all very dirty and very well used. And some of the outdoor spaces needed some TLC. For the price we paid we expected something a little more top shelf.
