Summary:
This home is a private oasis in beautiful McCall, Idaho. Ideally located it is a short walk to Payette Lake, Legacy Park Beach, Brown Park and downtown shops. Right down the street from Davis Beach and Ponderosa State Park you can't ask for a better location. Steps away from McCall Golf Club and quick access to the bike path. No matter what your plans are for your time spent in McCall, this home is close by everything.

The Space:

A privacy fence surrounds the entire property which is ideal if you have little ones who like to wander. The large beautiful deck wraps around the entire side and back of the home. BBQ on the back deck or sit by the gas fire pit in the evening roasting s'mores with your loved ones. After a long day hiking trails, boating on the lake or snowboarding on Brundage Mountain relax those muscles in the hot tub. At McCall Golf Club you can golf in the warm months and snowshoe in the winter months, best part is it's only steps away.
Propane fire pit for relaxing after adventures (Please be sure to replace propane tank if needed, we will cover the charge - just let us know!)
Brand new black stainless steel appliances along with a fully stocked kitchen that will meet every home chefs needs. Dining table with seating along with barstools at the counter there is seating for everybody. New wine/beverage fridge keeps those bottles chilled and ready to celebrate. The kitchen comes with oils, spices, seasonings and some basic baking essentials.

The living room is ready for a group who wants to chill out and relax. Featuring a convertible sectional for additional sleeping and lounging. You can go old school and watch a DVD or stream a movie on the 55" Smart TV. The space also features a sound bar to really enjoy those movie nights.

Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV pre-loaded with free streaming apps. You can also log into your favorite apps and stream from your private accounts.

The Game Room is a huge crowd pleaser. Located in the heated garage it has new epoxy floors and a countertop area with barstools. Games include Basketball, Foosball, Darts and Ping Pong. Feel free to take the provided kayaks out to the lake. All this is included in your stay.

The downstairs Den Room is lots of fun! It has a new 55" smart TV, Xbox 360 including games, Kinect and an Atari. Also stocked in this room are board and card games. This room is always a hit and is great for larger groups who want a separate space for kids to be able to break off and hang out.

Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom which features a desk area for those working from home and a sofa that folds into a bed. This sofa can hold up to two small children. The locked closet in this room is full of all the kids gear we provide such as the portable crib and sound machine as well as a couple of extra houseguest needs like the iron and ironing board. **Note: a high chair is provided and is located in the downstairs entry closet.

The second "Master" bedroom has a super comfortable Puffy Mattress. This bedroom overlooks the backyard and has a smart TV above the dresser. This bedroom is light + bright always getting sunshine.

The Bunk Room is Full over Queen. The bottom bunk is a Tempur-Pedic Queen size bed that will have you getting some of your best sleep ever. The top bunk can fit 2 small children. This room features a Smart TV and is decorated with log side tables and vintage style lanterns, this room always brings all the smiles from a group of kiddos enjoying their sleepover or a family of 4 on a multi family trip.

Guest Access:
This home is heated with hydraulic radiant heat flooring. Keeps you warm and cozy without the vent air blowing directly on you. The home is cooled with brand new mini split AC units in each room.

Wifi is provided by Sparklight and we have done our part to keep you connected by purchasing a Nighthawk cable modem along with a WiFi extender upstairs. We like to be connected and we know with most families dealing with distant education and work from home this is important. Isn't it nice to change the scenery and do it from here :)

Whether you are taking a multi family vacation, girls weekend or guys golf trip, The Hideaway McCall is sure to provide a memorable stay.

You are welcome to access all parts of the house. The entire place is yours and private. There is one closet downstairs that is the "Pantry" you will see it clearly labeled. We keep that door locked with all of our supplies and needs for the house. We ask that you do not try to access this door.

You will be granted access to our home via keyless entry using an app and/or keypad. Directions how to use the app and keypad lock will be sent to you immediately upon your booking via email. Your keypad code is deleted after each booking. Your code will only be good and grant access to our home to use during your stay- beginning check-in time and date and expiring at check-out time and date.

We have plenty of parking on our property for your vehicles and toys! Parking is available in front of the home in the driveway and if you need overflow parking there is some availability directly behind the home. However, the overflow parking is not available during the winter bc of snow. The City of McCall is allowing snowmobile trailer parking at the McCall Golf Club. Our home is just a few houses away from that location. Please message me for more detailed information.

Our home has an occupancy of up to 11 guests. However, it is not intended to fit 11 adult guests.

Neighbors: This rental home is in a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your help in respecting the friendly neighbors by not hosting parties of any sort and keeping music and noise quiet after 10pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our rental services.

Smoking, vaping or the use of any recreational drugs is strictly prohibited anywhere within or upon the premise of the property. We do not allow any house parties in our homes out of respect for neighbors and the protection of our beautiful homes. We pride ourselves in being a company that offers a pet friendly place at many of our properties please see our pet policy below

Pet Policy:

Please note that we do have an additional pet fee to help protect against the natural wear and tear it causes to our properties by allowing pets. If your furry friends are accompanying you for your stay, we do allow up to 2 dogs and charge a pet fee of $50 for 1 dog or $115 for 2 dogs. This fee is required and is paid after booking is complete when you register your pet on our digital check-in, please note pet fees do not cover any damages or accidents caused by your pets.

Failure to comply with the pet fee, smoking/drug policy and unauthorized events or parties could result in a $500 fine, immediate eviction with no refund and additional expenses may be charged to remove odors or repair any damages done.

Great house to stay at in McCall Idaho!

Clean house, comfortable beds in all rooms, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, great fenced in side and backyard for kids and dogs, super fun game room in the garage for all ages, TV/Video game room for the kids. House was close to town and Ponderosa State Park, the lake and town. Loved spending a long Fall weekend here with my family and our fur baby. Would stay again for sure!

Winter Getaway

This property was the perfect place to stay for our trip. We wanted to get away for a couple of days, ski Tamarack and relax and this place checked all the boxes. Great location to town, house was comfortable. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Highly recommend the place. Thanks for a great stay!

We spent a wonderful week in McCall . The property was very nice. Loved the enclosed back yard, great for toddlers and dogs. Great location to ponderosa park and town. Would easily recommend staying there .

Very nice place, plenty of space for multiple adults, well equipped. Garage that is being used as a game rom could use some cleaning but fun to have the extra things to do. Would stay again.

Clean, spacious, good location

The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would be fun with kids too with the game room garage and game system. Lots of TVs, hot tub was great. If I’m being picky, there are a few things that needed attention in the home: window that wouldn’t close all the way, closet door falling off a hinge, shower door would catch on the bottom so it didn’t open easily. The beds were not super comfortable but they did their job.

Overall it was ok. The cleanliness needs improvement. It was advertised as having a gas fire pit but it did not. We brought our 2 dogs and someone showed up to clean the hot tub and walked into the fenced yard. Would have been nice to know before hand so we didn’t just see a stranger petting the dog.

Great for large groups

This home is a DUPLEX- we were surprised by this, but it did not bother us. It feels quite private with the fenced back yard (with hot tub) that connects to the fenced deck at the entrance. There's a lot of space in this home and there's something for everyone- you can find a quiet place to do some work or read a book, kids would have a blast with the games in the garage or playing the video games available, there are lots of beds and sleeping options and smart TVs in every room. We have friends in McCall who were able to come over for dinner and there was plenty of space, even with our big dogs taking up space. There was a lot of kitchen equipment for cooking/baking, but they could use new pans.

Great, sound sleep!

I'll start with positives. The beds were so comfortable; we slept so well! Location was great and easy to access. Plenty of space for sleeping , easily sleeps 10. Xbox was a hit with the kids. Hot tub was nice. Negatives: we couldnt get the radiant floor heat to where we wanted it to stay warm enough. So we used the wall heaters some. There wasn't one piece of stainless steel cookware for the health minded cooks in the kitchen. Everytime we cooked, the smoke alarm went off because the hood fan must be plugged with snow and pushes the air in, instead of out. Ping pong table net is hanging on by a thread, and one of the fooz ball players is broken. Lastly, the advertising was slightly misleading as we thought this was a house. It is a duplex, connected with one other building. Not a huge problem, but we prefer a detached home when it's advertised as a house. Overall, a nice stay.

Unacceptable rental

We ended up spending most of the evening upstairs because it was too cold on the main floor for our 1 year old grandson. If it takes that long to heat up the floors, you really should come and turn the heat on 12 hours or more before your guests arrive. The thermostat said 59° when we got here and did not warm up until the next day. There was black dog hair everywhere. Even on our plates when eating. It is all over 2 of the beds, some of the blankets, all the pillows in the game room, it was so bad I had to wash blankets so we could use them. Clearly the cleaning deposit for pets is not getting put to good use. My husband went out to scrape the snow off the sidewalk and deck, he had to clean up dog poop off the deck. This is a health concern because our grandson wanted to make a snowman in the snow, now we aren't able to do that in case there is more. Two of the bathrooms have black mold on the shower curtain. The water clearly should not be drank, it has a brown grey tint to it so we tried to use the water from the fridge. The filter light reminder is on, so that needs replaced. The water coming out of the fridge is so slow, it takes several minutes just to fill up the kettle for tea. The hot tub has grass and pine needles all over in it and the filter cover was disconnected and floating in the tub. I don't like leaving negative reviews, I hope the owners see this review and reach out to me. Your property is NOT being taken care of.

Great space but not clean

The space was everything our family needed. There was plenty of room for everyone and the garage games were an added bonus! The cleanliness of this property was unsatisfactory. The hot tub was incredibly foamy and smelled like mildew. One of the comforters that didn’t have a duvet cover had dried drool on it when we arrived. There was a pair of dirty underwear left by a previous occupant in one of the master bedroom closets. The master bathroom toilet was not functioning upon arrival and we could never get it to work properly. My 3-year old son found broken glass just under the couch in the game room. The deck was covered in pine needles and the gas fire pit was sticky and dirty. The kitchen countertops were covered in a dusty film and there were visible stains on the couches. The mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers were gummy and empty. The containers for cotton balls and Q-Tips were near empty (there were three qTips in one), and the laundry detergent container was empty. If you don’t plan on providing these items, why not remove the containers so guests don’t feel like they’re getting short-changed?

Amazing property - would stay here again

Perfect home for a family vacation with our two dogs. House had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, great location. We go to McCall annually for a family vacation and we will try to book this property again next year.

As a very young family and world travelers ourselves, we constantly walk our own talk and believe strongly in our mission to give traveling families the kind of experiences and accommodations that we look for when we are away from home. We know that when you have a family and young children - the little things truly are the big things. That's why before we open a new property rental, we spend a night or two with our own family living and sleeping in the space and making sure we have what we need for a comfortable stay. From little snacks to pack and plays, we're confident that when you stay with us, you'll get a feel for how much we truly care about the comfort of our guests + we hold in high regard the privilege we have to care for our guests like family.
