Audrey’s Cottage is located in the heart of the Goldfields, private and fully self contained 2 bedroom house with off street parking , perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Take a short walk to the beautiful township of Dunolly, drop into the cafes, collectable shops, Art galleries, Museum, pub and the famous Dunolly bakery.

Stroll through the streets and admire the historical buildings and the history of this
once vibrant gold mining town.
At the end of the day relax in the peace and tranquillity of this quaint cottage, cosy up
to the fireplace or indulge in a long hot bath.
Please be aware the cottage is on approx half acre with fencing at the front and sides of house but no fencing to the rear of the property that looks out to the silos,
We welcome your pets (2 small or 1 med size) to the cottage, it is common for a extra charge however we do not, please ensure you clean up after your pets
Animals are strictly prohibited from the bedrooms, carpet cleaning and all bedding steam cleaned will be charged to back to guest

Lovely stay in Dunolly

We had a lovely stay here at Audrey’s in Dunolly. Visiting family. A cosy little house, nice little touches. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the Golden Triangle

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage, close to town centre. Perfect location for our mini getaway. Central location ideal for exploring gold mining history and prospecting adventures. We’ll definitely stay again.

Country retreat

The cottage was welcoming and very comfortable. The bedrooms were cosy and warm even though the nights were cool. My dog enjoyed exploring the huge yard and sheds. It’s an easy walk into the town of Dunolly.

Tranquil cottage

A great little cottage with plenty of room and great amenities. Very comfortable and right in the centre of the central Goldfields and only a short drive to Maryborough, Avoca and lots of other little towns to visit while basing yourself in historic Dunolly

Character and charm in a quiet part of town, still in walking distance to pub and great bakery. Super considerate of our needs to make winter comfortable, thank you for the firewood and kindling set up!

The house was lovely. It was a shame that the silos were so close. The trucks comimg and going were disconcerting. we did however enjoy our stay.

My brother in law and I stayed at this little gem for two nights. Was exceptionally clean and comfortable and spacious. The two queen beds were a little firm but better than the alternative and would be good if there was WIFI. The owner was very accommodating when we had to change the nights due to personal reasons. I highly recommend this place for a stay or stop over - we will be back :-)

Lovely place, lots of fresh air and just a few minutes walk to the shops.

Our stay was very pleasant, the nights were cool, thank goodness. Very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. our dog loved running around the big yard and made a few friends from the locals at the pub. Will definitely go back again. After lovely communication with the owner we got to the cottage to find it was better than listed. It’s so clean and tidy and had everything and more to make your stay a very pleasant and comfortable one.. great location with all that you need in an old gold mining village..thank you Audrey and will be back for sure..

Audrey’s in walking distance to the bakery

Millie (my dog) and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in beautiful Dunolly… although we may have gained weight visiting the fantastic Dunolly bakery. The cottage was much more spacious than I expected with a beautiful dining area and spacious lounge. The bath was amazing but did take some time to reach an adequate level but having a wine in the front veranda helped pass the time. Whilst the property backs on to the silos, they dont work weekends so was no issue. I loved the choice of having my morning coffee in the sun on the back patio or in the shade on the front veranda. It is on a main road with many trucks but I found that interesting to watch. Oh and before I forget… Dunolly has the most amazing hand spun wool shop with the owner so friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable getaway

Cosy place with lovely town centre

We really enjoyed our week long holiday in Dunolly. Alicia was very responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. The property has been tastefully renovated with lots of beautiful additions old and new to complement it's character. Our dog loved being with us chasing the butterflies and the backyard is huge. Our only grudge was all the burrs that clung to her fur and seemed to get in everywhere! The property is next to a silo and train track but we barely noticed. It had everything we needed and the town centre is only a few minutes away. The bakery is a must visit as is surrounding towns, forests and reservoirs.

Personal Review

The house is cozy with huge backyard. Love the atmosphere in the house. Things to improve to have, though, are: - additional fan in the second bedroom, especially on hot days. It was muggy in the second bedroom because of it. - there were condiments and kitchen necessities missing, i think. Things like salt and pepper, condiments (ketchup, etc). - there was no wifi available (I need to check if this was stated on the advertisement. The house is easy to spot, beautifully maintained, and has a nice bath tub.
