Près de Churchill Downs : Animaux acceptés, jardin clôturé !

We're glad the location worked out well for both Kentucky Kingdom and Churchill Downs, and that you enjoyed the backyard with the old tree and found the home clean and comfortable overall. Thank you for pointing out the caulk around the tubs and the loose light fixtures, those have since been repaired and re-coated, and the fixtures were tightened right away. We appreciate the recommendation and are always working to keep the little details up to date for future guests.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the clean and modern interior of the home. We do apologize for your impression of the neighborhood, but we want to assure you that it is a safe area. We were also aware that the yard needed maintenance and regret that we were unable to complete it before your stay, as we did not want to disturb you. The yard has since been taken care of after your departure.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad that we were in a good location for your expo event. We're sorry about the issues you had when you arrived. We've had some problems with a cleaning partner, and when we transitioned to a new cleaner, they were unable to come before you checked in due to a family emergency. We understand that you were tired and decided to check into a hotel. We gave you a complimentary 2-night stay with a gift basket and covered the hotel stay. While you were at the hotel, the new cleaner and maintenance came by and fixed everything. We're glad there were no issues reported after they took care of you. We will make sure this does not happen again.

From the owner: "Hi Matt, thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at this house. If there is anything we can do to provide a 5-star experience, please don't hesitate to reach out!

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the location was convenient for your visit. We understand your concerns and wanted to share that we have since completed a kitchen inventory and confirmed the home has the necessary items for guests. We also replaced the mattress protector after noticing the stain. While street parking was shared prior to arrival, parking is also available in the nearby church parking lot, which we have permission to use. We appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to share your experience."

Hi Neil, we're so glad to hear you found the home clean and well set up, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.- This property uses standard trash bins rather than dumpsters. They are placed in the back alley for pickup on Wednesdays, as noted in the welcome book.- Occasionally, the bin may end up on the other side of the fence, but we’ll work on making its location clearer for future guests. Thanks again for your helpful feedback!

Hi Karly, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following: We're pleased to learn that the property met your needs during your stay. However, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the dirty dishes and the backdoor being left open. Rest assured, these issues have been brought to the attention of our cleaning team and will be promptly resolved. We regret that you did not inform us of these concerns during your stay, as we would have been more than happy to address them immediately. Thank you for providing feedback about your stay, and we look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Hi Gary, we want our guests to feel completely at ease when staying with us, and we’re sorry to hear about the challenges you encountered. After reading your feedback, we followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:– Window blinds are scheduled for replacement soon to improve both function and appearance, though these updates can take some time.– We’re removing the Alexa devices, which were previously provided for music, timers, and other guest conveniences.– There's a railing along the sidewalk leading up to the door, and we’ve confirmed that it’s in good condition, as guest safety is a top priority for us.– For peace of mind, the entry code and lockbox code have been double-checked, and we’ve confirmed they’re accurate and functioning properly. If we’d been alerted during your stay, we would have been happy to assist in real-time.– We recently updated the WiFi password and have revised our pre-stay information to ensure future guests receive the correct details.– The bidets are available as an optional amenity and don’t have to be used. We’ve received positive feedback from past guests, but it’s entirely up to each guest’s preference.– While street parking can sometimes be tight for larger vehicles, reaching out would have allowed us the opportunity to direct you to additional parking options nearby.Thank you again for your feedback on these details, and we’re glad you enjoyed the location. We’re confident these updates will help future guests enjoy an even smoother stay.

Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! It was a pleasure hosting you. I’m glad I could help with the early check-in so you could focus on the baseball tournament. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the home’s cleanliness, reliable Wi-Fi, comfortable A/C, well-equipped kitchen, and all the little details that made your stay comfortable. Thank you as well for mentioning the parking it helps future guests know what to expect. Just for future reference the church does allow us to use their parking lot for parking if guest need it. We truly appreciate your kind words and would be happy to welcome you back anytime you’re in town. Best of luck in your future tournaments, and safe travels!
