We extended our stay on Campobello to experience the Island from this waterfront property. We were glad we did. The home was super clean, super comfortable, super quiet, well-equipped and provided stunning views of the water and wildlife. The owner really thought of everything needed to make your stay wonderful. Thank you so much!
We highly recommend taking an Island Tour and visiting the Roosevelt house. We especially loved learning more about Eleanor and FDR at the tea. We also left the Island via ferry to Deer Island, then took another ferry to L'Etete as we continued on to St. John. Sure beats highway driving.
Just a note to those travelling off-season. There were very few restaurant options in late September. The one within walking distance to the property was closed. As a result, we dined in most of the time--which was fine for a short stay. The nearby convenience store was good for basic provisions; the one market on the Island had more offerings, but had limitations.
