This home is close to the Ocean Lake Community pool and tennis club, a half mile away. Access is normally reserved for homeowners and guests staying in Ocean Sands O, and this home was grandfathered in when the new Ocean Sands O community was formed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place but too many throw rugs to trip over. I believe they were there to coverup stains. Besides that the place was nice.

Enjoyable house and location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great weather first week of Oct and not crowded😊. Walk to beach not far with part of walk on a well maintained path through wooded area. Loved the use of large storage unit for bikes and beach items brought from home. Very well set up with pots and pans, dishes and utensils. Be aware for those with small dogs stairs are open leading to top level and small dog could fall through. Also, banister poles on top level and outside deck small dog could fit through. A bit noisy from back yard as backs up to road. Room darkening curtains would be helpful in bedrooms.

The fenced in yard was great for our fur babies. Property management staff were great to work with and were very helpful. Would definitely rent this property again .

Outer Banks Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean upon arrival. We found the home to be well equipped with plenty of amenities in the kitchen including a K cup coffee maker, Mr Coffee, and a coffee press. The extra beverage frig was handy and used separately for drinks. The technology setup made it easy to connect and the 86”TV was a bit too big, but we enjoyed watching it in the evening. The house offered the use of several bikes, beach chairs and beach toys, that was a real nice surprise. It was farther to the beach than we like, but using the beach wagon made the trip easy manage.

Unfortunately the first two weeks of August were so hot this year it was not enjoyable.Having community pool access was great when it was too hot at the beach.

Great kid and dog-friendly home!

We stayed for a week with our 1.5 year old daughter and our medium-size dog. The house was comfortable and well set up for our needs. Loved the location, walking distance to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Awful management company

I will never rent a property from this management company ever again. We arrived in the evening and after settling in we found the house without any linens or bed sheets despite paying for them. I called the 24 hour number was told told someone could bring bed sheets around 1 am. With 3 young children that was not an option. I told that person to have someone call me first in the morning, I was told the manager would call me in as they arrive at the office at 830. at 930 the next day I called the office and after having to ask to take to a manager I was told sheets and towels would be brought to the house later that day. Linens were dropped off on the deck and we made all 5 beds in the afternoon. After writing an email to this company explaining why we were displeased and that our review would reflect our experience we were called and told that our email was taken as a threat to the manager. In short house was fine, if you want to sleep in beds with sheets or have towels when you pay for them do not rent from this management company. To the owners, this was not your fault and the house was as advertised expect there microwave needs to be replaced
