'Laduma' - Zulu for 'GOAL' is exactly what this stunning apartment is, holiday goals!

3 cozy bedrooms, one with a king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 singles. The main bedroom, second bedroom and lounge all have aircon and all rooms have fans.

Fit with finishes that represent luxury, relaxation and all things Byron Bay, 'Laduma' is the home away from home, a place to catch up with friends and make lifelong memories. Only a 1-minute walk to the beach, we hope you love 'Laduma' as much as we do!
HOUSE RULES
* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am

ADDITIONAL RULES
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is SIX people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to THREE people. No more than a maximum of NINE people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This apartment is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering out the front of the building or in the common areas. Please respect our home and neighbours. We ask for minimal noise in the common areas, especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*Schoolies bookings are subject to approval and will be required to pay a $5,000 security bond. The house rules will also need to be STRICTLY followed otherwise penalties will incur. If the number of guests staying in the home is more than what was booked, there will be a charge for the extra guests.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:
*We have a Tesla Charger in the garage of the home!

* This property is suitable for babies or children and we provide a travel cot, however, we do not provide the linen. The cot is in the bedroom cabinet for you to set up. We do not provide a highchair, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* Please note, there are 2 cameras at the front door and back side gate for the security of the home and our guests. Rest assured it does not invade your privacy in any way as it cannot see into the home itself. We just want to make sure that the home is safe as well as any guest that stays there!

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

Byron Bay is a vibrant and unique coastal town located in the far north-east of NSW, home of the easternmost point of Australia, the famous Cape Byron.

BYRON BAY HISTORY:

Named ‘Cavvanbah’ by the local Bundjalung people, the town of Byron Bay’s roots sit firmly in industry, with origins in dairy farming, timber and agricultural products.

Following the debut of the Aquarius Festival in 1973, Byron Bay began to develop its progressive and alternative identity, with ‘hippies’ and those seeking alternative lifestyles pouring into the shire for the festival, with many settling in for the long term.

From here, these settlers pioneered the uniqueness of Byron Bay, including respect for and consultation with the local Indigenous people, which continues today.

A mix of artists, artisans and creatives, progressive entrepreneurs, digital and technical experts, organic farmers and growers and more gives Byron Bay it’s diverse and eclectic melting pot of locals and the sophisticated, desired and alternative culture it embodies today.

Formerly the site of a long jetty, the Main Beach of today is a postcard-perfect, world-famous white sand beach with rolling blue waves and mountain views, all framed by grassy hills and the backdrop of the bustling Byron Bay town.

This busy beach is home to the iconic Byron Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, one of the oldest clubs in Australia and the proud home of the lifeguards who patrol the beach in the summer months.

THINGS TO DO IN BYRON BAY:

Byron Bay town is an electric hub of activity with a diverse retail precinct offering a range of shopping, including boutique and local designer fashion, cheap and chic beachwear, homewares and handmade artisan products, markets and more. Byron Bay has resisted the influx of major chains and brands, instead focussing on promoting local goods and services, adding to the uniqueness that Byron has become famous for.

Byron Bay also boasts a buzzing restaurant, cafe and nightclub scene for all tastebuds and age groups. With local-loved pubs and taverns featuring garden bars, live music and beach views, a range of diverse restaurants focussed on fresh local produce, cafes with quality organic coffee and cuisine and a vibrant nightlife for the night-owls, town has got all and every need covered when it comes to eating, drinking and entertainment.

A range of practical services are available too, including Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets, branches and ATM’s for all the major banks and numerous medical, professional and alternative health services.

Movies, massage, yoga and a vibrant art and craft scene are just some of the added extras in the bustling, energetic and diverse town of Byron Bay.

Safe, sheltered and patrolled in summer, Main Beach is the ideal swimming beach for families. It’s banks are lined with children’s play equipment, picnic areas and shady trees, perfect for family beach days and it’s close proximity to Byron Bay’s shopping precinct ensure the beach is bustling and busy all year round.

Consistent swell suited to most skill levels make north-facing Main Beach a popular surfing spot, with both right and left easy-going beach breaks on offer. To the west is the infamous ‘Wreck’ and Belongil Beach, and to the right you can find Clarkes Beach blending around to The Pass and beyond to Wategos. All with their own unique characteristics and fun waves to surf.

In calm seas, snorkelling or scuba diving just offshore from Main Beach, near the remains of the old jetty, can gain a glimpse of Tassie II, a sunken ammunitions supply ship lost at the end of WWII, now known as ‘The Wreck’.

Main Beach is alive with entertainment. Often the site of live music, buskers, fire dancers, bongo drummers and more, the banks of Main Beach showcase the diverse alternative culture that Byron Bay has become famous for.
We have a lockbox for all our guests to access the home. We will provide the lockbox details for you at 7am on the morning of check-in!
Nestled among the ambience of tropical surrounds, and only steps from the apartment complex pool, 'Laduma' is the perfect home away from home. Whether you want time out to reflect on your own or a hideaway with that someone special, or a family trip that you all have enough space to relax and unwind, 'Laduma' is the place to be.

With 3 spacious bedrooms, master bedroom has a King bed, queen bed for the 2nd bedroom and 3rd bedroom has 2 singles, Laduma is the perfect place for the entire family. Our living room comes complete with a Smart TV as well as the master bedroom. The main bedroom, second bedroom and lounge all have aircon and all rooms have fans. There is also a Tesla charger in the garage!

There is a fridge, microwave, Smeg kettle & toaster tea/coffee facilities, onsite parking, outdoor shower, crockery & cutlery. We have an internal washing machine and Dryer located in the second bathroom.

Our home also comes with a Tesla Model 3 car charger, perfect for guests with Tesla vehicles that need to top up their battery on arrival. This is a complimentary addition to the home for guests to use!

All products you need for your stay including Shampoo, Conditioner, Bodywash, Linen and towels are all provided. At Laduma, we want you to feel at home as if this was your home!

Long Weekend
Cozy stay with all the immenities situated a short walk between the town and the industrial park. Big porch, lots of cozy blankets to rug up with and just across from the beach.

Perfect Stay
We loved our stay at Laduma, it was about 15 minutes walk from Byron town which ended up being a really nice daily walk for us. The house was clean and styled so nicely. The cheese platter & bottle of wine was such a beautiful gesture & a perfect welcome to the house. Thanks for having us!!
