The Treehouse is new open concept suite with high ceilings and lots of light with a full kitchen with all the amenities. It has a large deck with a private jacuzzi hot tub over looking the forest. We are 15 minutes to Nelson and 30 minutes to Whitewater ski hill. 4X4 is a must Oct-Mar

Quiet Forest Setting

The location, cleanliness of this property were lovely. Unfortunately, immediately at checkin, our Siberian Husky became very anxious going up/down the metal staircase which set the tone for the duration of our stay, 3 nights. The hosts had small pads attached to each tread which would probably be perfectly fine for small dogs, but not for larger breeds. After speaking to Sky, he tried to remedy the situation by inserting extra material (yoga mat) under the existing pads to widen the planking. It helped a little but because the loose pads shifted on each step from her weight, it still wasn’t ideal for our girl. I appreciated Sky’s efforts! Lastly, I’m not a prudish person and realize we were in “Nelson” but when we sat outside I found the lingering smell of weed coming from the main level where the hosts reside and directly below us to be very unpleasant. The smell makes me nauseous.

Second stay just as good as the first

We came here last year and we had another amazing stay! Clean, beautifully designed, and nicely situated in the woods with a stunning vantage point of the night sky. Highly recommend!

Here for a wedding

Great place for a family of 6. Laundry machines great when we needed to dry our towels. The whole place is designed beautifully with raw edge wood, and modern kitchen and bath. Would stay again without hesitation!

Fantastic Stay

We loved the Tree House. It was perfect for our family’s ski vacation. They have thought of everything that could make this comfortable including an area for our ski equipment and the most comfy beds. The hot tub and rain shower were an added bonus. We would love to visit again. Thanks!

Everything Was Perfect!

Absolutely amazing location, view and amenities! The house was well stocked with everything that you could ever think of, and more. The house itself was gorgeous, comfy and cozy - all of the finishings and decor were beautiful and top quality. The hot tub was pure bliss and the kids loved the bunk bed room. We will definitely be back and recommend fully to all!

“This place is the real deal!”

This place is gorgeous, impeccably clean, styled and decorated beautifully, and the hot tub is perfect! In an era where the quality of vacation rentals seems to be dipping while prices are rising, this private treehouse apartment is “the real deal!” (When we arrived one of our group looked at the kitchen and bedrooms and exclaimed, “Wow, this place is the real deal!”) Comfy beds, clean in EVERY corner, great location with the best stocked kitchen of any rental I’ve stayed in! If you’re looking for a place maintained by hosts who clearly care about offering a beautiful and peaceful property for their guest- this one would be a great choice!

Stunning and Peaceful

This place was fantastic. Very private but only 15 min from town. The suite was clean and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and both the kitchen and bathroom were large and roomy.The deck was huge with an incredible view and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake! We definitely want to go back!

Beautiful Property with incredible views!

Everything about this space has been well thought out and carefully designed - including the high end finishes, soaring ceilings and rooftop patio. It is both beautiful and functional. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped. The hottub was an added treat and well maintained. It is a tranquil and quiet place literally on the side of a mountain in the forest. The location is also good to explore the area - less than 20 minutes to Nelson and just a bit over 20 to Castlegar. The only caveat I would offer potential guests is there is a metal staircase which your food and clothes etc need to be hauled up. Anyone with limited mobility could have trouble going up and down. But once your up - its worth it! I highly recommend this property.
