Great family stay

We had a lovely stay, it was really appreciated that Christmas decorations had been set up around the house and Donna was responsive to feedback. The outdoor kitchen, deck and back grass area was amazing which allowed for lots of great meals, family fun and outdoor games.

Comfortable stay

We were a group of 1@ and enjoyed the stay. The space around was enough to play few games of cricket. Kids enjoyed at the trampoline too.

Nice place to stay with big family

We had a great stay at this house! The house was spacious and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The BBQ area was the highlight of our stay, and we enjoyed cooking meals for our family. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Love!

A lovely house, a spacious yard and living room. Perfect for groups of people. A generous amount of basics were supplied and they accounted for all of us. Communication was amazing and Donna is very kind. Me and my friends had a great time, the fire was a big highlight and kept us all warm. Thankyou! We will be back!

Great weekend away

Great size property - although we had the impression there was direct access to the water, based on the images & image caption. A spacious house for a comfortable stay. Designed with entertaining in mind. We made the most of the excellent deck, barbecue & pizza oven. Plenty of lights so you can keep enjoying yourself late into the night. Our toddler had a wonderful time on the swing & slide. The trampoline was with a hit with our toddler and all the adults! We enjoyed gathering around the firepit as the sun went down. Plenty of space for multiple cars to park. Plenty of space for pets to roam around in the enclosed backyard. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment, even an airfryer. TVs is every room. Laundry had a dryer, and detergent was generously supplied. Communication with Donna was a breeze. Donna clarified that the quad bike was not available for use, but confirmed we could bring bikes to ride around. If the property had direct access to the water, it would have been absolutely perfect.

Great location and great potential

This property is in a great location close to beautiful beaches and the Swan Haven Lake. No doubt it will be a great holiday rental once fully finished and properly equipped to host up to the number of advertised guests. However, at the time of our stay it was obvious that the property has had some recent renovations and that some works were still going on/were unfinished. On our arrival, there was obvious evidence that workers have been in the property and the house have not been properly cleaned after they left. The fencing around the back area was temporary fencing and gives that sense of unfinished works and not 100% secure, it is not a pleasant outlook and doesn't provide reassurance that it is fully safe for the dogs. We also noted some gaps in the front fence, so please speak to the owners and clarify your requirements to ensure it is a safe area for your pets. The property had insufficient cutlery and cooking equipment to serve 12 people which didn't affect us this time, however, will affect larger groups, particularly if you enjoy cooking. Overall, we felt the house was not reflective of the price it was advertised for, but it has the potential to do so once all works are completed and the issues with cleaning and equipment and building works are resolved. We gave feedback to the owners, and they indicated that they would address it ASAP and we hope they do so as otherwise, the property has some really good features and the potential to be great once all those issues are resolved.

Donna & Con are fantastic hosts. Peaceful and spacious newly renovated house. Well equipped.

Owners, Con & Donna, are very responsive to all our communication needs and often went above and beyond by checking in regularly to ensure that we have everything we needed. They house was well equipped and offered many little touches similar to 5-star hotels which surely impressed the entire family. The property is located near local shops and only a short distance to many outdoor water adventures like surfing, wakeboarding, SUP, kayaking. Our dog loved the space outside. The kids loved the trampoline and the TVs in every single room including the outdoor entertainment area. We will definitely book this place again next time we need to visit Shoalhaven precinct. Very central to nearby tourist attractions like Jervis Bay, Batemans Bay and beyond. Thanks heaps for having us stay at your place Donna, Con & family
