The property backs onto lush rainforest and just minutes from the beach, you can relax to the sound of birdsong and ocean waves.

Wonderful property

We had a lovely stay. The property is clean and well equipped and in a great location, walking distance to the beach. Jo was wonderful.

A relaxing retreat.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in this delightful, newly renovated home with pretty white plantation shutters. Everything was just perfect! The house has everything one needs, home away from home. The kitchen is really well equiped with everything one needs. We enjoyed our Nespressos sitting on the verandah in the mornings. And the roomy rain shower was a real treat. I appreciate the host’s attention to detail in things like providing basic items like bandaids, antiseptic, tissues, an initial supply of Nespresso pods etc. And I loved the little herb garden with rosemary, parsley and mint. Thank you for a most wonderful stay Jo!

Better than the Photos!

The place is feels/looks new and very well presented with nice touches throughout. Comfortably suitable for 4-5 people or a couple. Jo was great to deal with, & communication was hassle free. Look forward to our next visit, and will be recommending to my network of friends & family during their travels to Port Mac.

Our family worked together to fully restore and renovate this property in 2020, and it has been such a joy to share it with guests ever since. We love welcoming travellers, helping them feel at home, and sharing local tips so you can make the most of your stay.

This area is where we spend time with family, enjoy the outdoors, and appreciate the relaxed pace of coastal living—it’s everything we love in one place.

Our property is uniquely flexible, offering two self-contained units (a 3-bedroom and a 2-bedroom) that can be booked together as one large family home or separately for smaller groups.

Backing onto the rainforest and only minutes from the beach, it’s a rare combination of privacy, space, and location.

Guests often tell us how special it is to spot koalas and deer right in the backyard, or to enjoy the sounds of the ocean while relaxing on the deck.

We’ve also made it family- and guest-friendly, with toys, games, beach gear, and thoughtful extras so you can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy.
