The place was stylish, spotless, and comfortable. Dave and Vera laid on everything a guest might need. Great beds, secluded setting, easy communication with the hosts. It was all the listing promised and then some!
We spent six nights here and had a fantastic time. It is only 45 minutes from Charlottetown and 12 minutes from the coast. It was a great home base to explore the east and central parts of PEI. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. Mornings on the deck were delightful! Dave's communication ahead of the trip was clear and helpful. We had no issues at all.
We had a wonderful stay here. The property is exactly like it looks in the photos: clean, comfortable, and cute! It is secluded and quiet, with beautiful sunset views from the deck. Close to St Peters, Rick's Fish and Chips, Black and White Cafe, and Greenwich Beach. We would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely enjoyed our cozy PEI home away from home, situated central for our return visit. Thereâs nothing like living off an airport taxi way hearing planes landing and taking off.
The host was extremely helpful, responding quickly and meeting our needs.
Thanks again for a fabulous three weeks.
This vacation was perfect in every way. The cottage was absolutely adorable - perfect size, perfect decor. Our bonus was being able to see a plane land and take off out back. Hope to come back!
We enjoyed our stay in this bright, comfortable, clean, and well-equipped cottage. We particularly enjoyed the closeness to Greenwich National Park, with its beautiful beach and great walking trails. Dave responded promptly and helpfully to our questions. We had a lovely week in this less-traveled part of PEI.
My husband, 4-year-old, and I stayed at this beautiful cottage for 4 nights. There was tons of space and privacy. The cottage had EVERYTHING you would need to be comfortable. It was clean, decorated beautifully, and Dave was awesome. He was always quick to answer my questions, was very pleasant, and was very helpful. We had a great time in P.E.I. and are looking forward to returning again!
Magical cottage located next to an air park, and within 12 minutes of Greenwich, part of PEI Natl park. The white spruce dotted in the back would be magical for small children. As it was, the sunsets, hummingbirds, swallows, chipmunks, dragonflies and ghost pipes were magical enough for an adult. Good location to explore Greenwich, and the upper part of the Points East driving trail. Would also be good for a writing, work, or just relaxation focused trip A little far for regular Charlottetown or Cavendish trips, but close enough for a day trip.
Everything was excellent! One can't help but feel rejuvenated after staying in this spectacularly designed, equipped and located cottage. Greenwich beach, nordic spa, shopping (St Peter's Bay; Morell) and Julio's Oyster Bar all close. And we really enjoyed the views of the meadows. Owners were extremely helpful and kind. For instance, my partner forgot her necklace, and they dropped it off in Ch'town at my folks place the next day! The only think that could be improved is a bit more info in the booklet on garbage and recycling procedures/schedule, and propane stove instructions.
We stayed in this property last summer, and returned this year for a repeat visit because we loved it so much. The property is just as pretty as it looks in the pictures and is very conveniently located. St. Peters Bay, Souris, Greenwich Beach and Basin Head Beach are all within short drives. We had just as good a time as last year!
It took a bit to find it, the cottage is on a grass road and not visible from the road. But once we found it, our visit was unforgettable. The cottage was clean and comfortable and it was a wonderful base for our exploration of the island. Big shout out to our home away from home, The Black and White Cafe, just down the road.
Lovely cottage and amenities, everything in super-good condition. We were a bit surprised when the road was grass, but it was in good condition and easier to drive on than some gravel roads!
We absolutely loved this space. It was a perfect getaway (coming from Toronto) and we were very happy throughout. Everything is very functional and comfortable, while at the same time being a lovely spot to hunker down if the weather isn't cooperating or if you need to recharge and rest after touring the island.
A perfect retreat for a family (or couples) vacation!
We spent five nights at Cable Head East and considered it a good value. The property was perfect for two couples. It was well and attractively furnished and supplied. Instructions were all reasonable and clearly spelled out. The host was very responsive to all questions. Restaurants in the immediate area are limited at present, so it;s a good idea to plan ahead.
My wife, daughters and I loved every minute of our stay and everything about this property. The location is quiet, beautiful and close to some of the best beaches we've visited anywhere. The house was clean, inviting and comfortable, with everything we needed. And dealing with Dave, the owner, was a pleasure. He was friendly, helpful and responsive. The only thing we would have changed is the length of our stay, because we were so sad to leave after four nights. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.
House is immaculate and has everything you could need. There are a few shops nearby, but I would recommend stopping at a supermarket in Charlottetown to get everything you need before you arrive. And bring bug spray.
Everything was perfect and exactly as posted! We loved that everything was thought of for the cabin!
Itâs important to know itâs about a 45 minute drive to Charlottetown and the north shore.
My wife and I love the east coast. My family is from Prince Edward Island and my wife is from New Bruinswick. We are both professional hard working people and also love our downtime, that's why we decided to purchase this lovely cottage. We hope you enjoy it as much as us.
