Very nice and clean condo right on the Gulf shores. Perfect for my wife and I. Look forward to many return trips.
We planned this trip as an extra, not our primary vacation. It ended up being the best trip of the year. We loved the condo. It had everything we needed. We loved having our own designated parking and being able to walk to have dinner. The beach was clean and the other beach goers were well mannered. The 4th of July celebration was the best. Think tailgating on the beach - beach chairs, games, awnings, built in grills are all part of the condo and/or complex, which made up for not having resort amenities. There was a guard on duty to ensure the condo, beach, and parking were reserved for guests. I have recommended this area and condo complex to all my friends.
The room was outdated and under equipped. There was literal junk for some of the light fixtures - something picked up from a junk event and the light over the table was made of cardboard.
Looks like it was last updated in the 80s - mirrored walls, and the decor was so mismatched.
There was no vent in the kitchen, and the dishwasher was housed in a plywood frame that was painted white. There was crust on the utensils, food and trash left in one of the coolers, and there was schmutzy dust on most of the knick knacks.
The elevators are locked for the night at 10pm (ad didn't mention). They give a key for after hours use, and we tried two sets and neither worked. We called the after hours number, and were told "we don't manage the property, only certain units". Fine, but there wasn't a hint of apology or concern. The only reason we were able to make it up to our room that night was because some random guy showed us a second set of stairs and let us in. We climbed the four flights - fine. We ended up using these stairs for the rest of the trip when arriving after 10pm. I don't mind using the stairs; I do mind that no one at the mgmt company seemed to care that we thought we were locked out entirely.
I expect that for this price and this location the quality of the facility and the mgmt company would be top notch. They weren't. I'm hugely disappointed and the property is not nearly worth the price.

Location was nice and easy access to pool & beach. The room however, lacked basic necessities. Not enough blankets, TV in the bedroom didnât work, and management not that responsive. Could definitely use some updating. Also, master bedroom is on a platform bed with a box spring. Very high bed and unnecessarily high. Management could do better responding and addressing concerns.
This condo was just what we wanted with waking up to the sound and view of the gulf. Great balcony for morning coffee and evening gorgeous sunsets! The beach was not crowded and we liked being able to walk to nearby eateries and shops. The condo had everything we needed and the owner was great with communicating. We highly recommend this beach rental!
Very relaxing beach vacation! Couldnât ask for a better location. Even though we had the issues with the red tide - we made the best of it! With the unit we had some issues with the cleanliness.. the owner was notified of this issue and was very apologetic about it! And reimbursed us. Miriam, provided us with a lot of helpful information about the check-in/check-out process as well of things to do in the area. All and all a very cute unit to stay in and a fun filled vacation!
Very nice condo with ocean front views! Great location, great beach that was not overcrowded and great for sunsets!! Miriam was very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area. Would recommend staying at
Miriamâs at Sunset Chateau.
This was a nice unit. Nice amenities. There were however 2 pretty important things missing. The sheets on the bed were mismatched and very old. The sheets were so uncomfortable that we went and bought the cheapest sheets from Wal-Mart. We were provided 2 towels for the week. There is no washer/dryer in the unit the last thing I want to do on vacation is laundry. So we bought towels as well. We left all of these in the unit. . Upon arrival I noticed hairs on the floor. I did communicate with the owner who was going to reimburse 1/2 of the cleaning fee. I have not received that yet. It was totally cute and the beach umbrella and chairs were nice. If you choose the unit bring towels. They even had charcoal for the grills outside. It was just odd having all of these things but not extra linens. I would have given this a 5 star review if we had had the necessities.
Nice, warm place. Itâs not fuzzy and cold, but invites you into a nice Florida beach Condo. And the beach is below you, steps below you. This unit doesnât deceive its place directly in the ocean. All amneties included.
The place was very nice and clean, the owner was super accommodating and that is such a big plus when your traveling. They had plenty of beach towels and Bath Towels. The Queen size bed was comfortable (which is a priority for me) and the pull out couch and Futon were also comfortable which is really rare to get a comfy pull out couch. I would definitely recommend this unit and we do intend to stay there again. Thank you Miriam !!
Great location, great view, the room is adequate, the bed is not (see details below)
The Good: Very happy with the location on Sunset Beach! Aptly named as the sunsets were fabulous. Often it was a near-private beach with very little traffic, and its convenient to Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach. The room is generally well-equipped for beach and pool activities with chairs and noodles. We even added our beach umbrella to the collection for future guests. The AC worked great in the unit, and since we spent most of our time outside, and only did a little cooking, the room was adequate. Everyone we met was very friendly. We would go again, but maybe stay in a different unit because of the bed.
Just OK: This is an older property and it shows, but it is maintained well enough. The denim slip-cover over the couch is neither attractive nor comfortable, but I understand why it's there. The screen on the front door doesn't close properly, but really, that was never a factor in our use or enjoyment.
Be Advised: The bed is only a double bed and it is extremely firm --- it is not comfortable at all if you sleep on your side. Also, there is no private balcony, just the long, shared walkway in front of the room doors. So having our morning breakfast and coffee "on the balcony" was often interrupted by shifting to allow our neighbors to pass. Also, be aware that if the front drapes are open and there is any light inside, passersby can see into your unit. Not a big deal, but don't expect privacy with the blinds open to the balcony. Also, I wish our neighbors above were more considerate in the late evenings. The kids above us were running and jumping very loudly until near midnight many nights. We never saw who was in that unit during the day, but be aware that you may hear the wrestling matches above you.
I am so impressed with this area and Miriam's condo and efforts. Let's start with the area. Well maintained, soft sand, 65 paces from the condo to the edge of the water. (Yes, I measured because most other buildings are a trek to the waters edge.) Well maintained, not crowded, almost like having a private beach. The area is a $5.00 tip ride to anywhere using the Free Beach Transport or use an $8.00 Uber. Close to a fantastic Mexican american restaurant that I highly recommend (VIP) and many other places to eat and drink. Free parking, wifi, TV in the living room and bedroom. Umbrella, cooler, beach chairs, noodles. Everything you need for fun and protection on the beach. Miriam is extremely responsive and easy to contact. The kitchen is fully equipped. Oh and did I mention the comfortable queen bed and the quiet air conditioner. Believe it or not this was very important to me. I have no downsides to share. The condo is a little older but in perfect condition. It was plenty of room for myself and my husband. Lovely sized walk in shower with plenty of towels. I truly recommend this rental and property for anyone looking for a resort feel/city holiday.
The condo was spotless. It had a well furnished kitchen, although it did not have a lot of staple condiments that other condos supplied, such as spices, sugar, oil. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and the bath towels were extremely soft. There is a good supply of beach chairs and other items for beach fun. There is a key within the lockbox. Internet service worked well. I was able to stream on my computer with few problems. My contact for the condo, Miriam, was very responsive to my emails and very helpful. I hope to be able to stay there again.
We loved being on the beach (Note- the beach is very shelly- bring water shoes. ) The condo was just as described. Itâs a bit older and small for 5, but we knew that going in. The pool is great except thereâs no furniture. Itâs very strange. We borrowed her small beach chairs but itâs not the same as full lounge chairs. We visited Ft DeSoto and loved it. Our family had a great time.
This is a great property, perfect for 2 people. The bedroom was large with 2 dressers and 2 full closets to store all we brought with us. Kitchen was the perfect size and stocked with all we needed. Living room was comfy with a good TV for evenings. The sunsets were phenomenal and could be observed right from the deck. Through the bedroom window, Blind Pass waterway could also be seen. Walking distance to Caddy's (not the best food but great drinks and location), the 7-11 and a few other places. Dinner at Carino's was fantastic, too. Definitely coming back again for more R & R!
