Welcome to Palm Bluff, an extraordinary 2-bedroom, 1-bath sanctuary perched upon a breathtaking seaside cliff just 5 minutes south of Gregory Town, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Boasting three sets of elegant mahogany French doors, Palm Bluff unveils a spacious front porch suspended 45 feet above the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea. Be it on the porch or within the house, stunning views of the water surround you at every turn.

Embrace your adventurous spirit by descending the concrete steps – artistically carved through the limestone cliff – to explore the calm waters below. Experience phenomenal snorkeling amidst an underwater wonderland teeming with tropical fish.

Four lounge chairs invite relaxation, whether you prefer shaded tranquility on the porch or sun-soaked leisure on the adjacent concrete deck. Additionally, two aluminum folding beach chairs accompany you on beach outings or daily excursions. After a day of sun and sand, rejuvenate under the outdoor shower (cool water only) with a captivating view of the sea.

Each tastefully-appointed bedroom features a serene, ultra-quiet AC unit and ceiling fan, while an additional AC unit cools the living room and kitchen, complemented by more ceiling fans. The stylish bathroom showcases a rainwater shower, a spacious sink vanity, and exquisite Cuban tile flooring. The kitchen boasts modern stainless steel appliances and a farmhouse sink.

Palm Bluff provides bedding, towels, beach towels, and a fully-equipped kitchen. A washer and dryer are available in the adjoining laundry shed. Enjoy pure drinking water from the reverse osmosis (RO) system in the kitchen, perfect for consumption, cooking, and ice-making. While there is no TV, Wi-Fi is available to keep you connected.

Our dedicated caretaker, who lives just 5 minutes away, is readily available to assist with any questions or concerns during your stay. Additional maid services can be arranged for an extra fee.

The place was stunning

We definitely plan on staying here again. The road to get down is a little difficult so make sure you have four wheel drive or don't mind walking a little bit. Well worth it. We saw dolphins right from the porch.

Perfect location, love the conveniences

This property is located in one of the most beautiful, calm locations on Eleuthera, a short drive to many of the island’s attractions. We appreciated the clean, modern look, updated appliances, access to a washer and dryer, and covered patio with nice high-top patio table and chairs. There are a few updates that would have made this a 5-star review for us: repair/replace the 2 broken loungers (we were fine with 2, but the other 2 broken ones were just laying there), replace the outdoor shower head (the current one is corroded and only sprays in sprinkles everywhere except where you want it to), and trim back some of the foliage around the covered porch and deck spaces so you can really see that gorgeous view of the bight of Eleuthera.The views and property really are stunning, and the privacy and seclusion makes this house a great choice for us.

Much needed rest

Our stay could not have been any better. The house was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the AC kept the bedrooms cool at night. The pictures in the listing just don’t do justice to the view from the porch. An SUV is nice to have for the driveway but we never needed 4 wheel drive. Our family of four had plenty of room. Can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Paradise Found at Palm Bluff

The property was clean and well stocked with all supplies listed in the description. The view was mesmerizing and mafe us feel relaxed and content. The last part of the road to the house is bumpy, but we knew that ahead of time, and rented a vehicle with high clearance. Property is perfect for 2 people.

House with a view

The views and breeze were wonderful. The bed and linens very comfortable. The information packet provided made it easy to get around. 4WD for the drive and other roads is a must. We felt home away from home with the pups and would love to try to get them back with us. The house could use a few updates but was a very comfortable house. It was also in a great central location to go north or south. We would definitely stay again at Palm Bluff!

The house was as described and the view was stunning. The house is secluded which was very nice and quiet. The only comment is that this house is not for anyone that is any type of mobility issues as it is a climb uphill and several steps. Highly recommend!

The place is very much as pictured. Very clean and amazing views. The indoor shower head was a little tricky to ensure water didn’t get on the bathroom floor which we didn’t want to damage. The kitchen was well stocked to cook or not. Also, the house had items to go to the beach including snorkel equipment, cooler and chairs.

Charming cottage on the cliff!

Beautiful cottage, perched on the cliff just outside of Gregorytown- amazing views, and sunset and steps down to the beautiful blue Caribbean waters, for swimming and jumping (my teens did a lot of it)! Immaculately, clean, easy, check in process, wonderful follow up from Caretaker. We had zero complaints, but I am sure if we had a single one it would’ve been quickly remedied. We will most certainly be back to this secluded oasis on Eleuthera!

Loved the view! Pretty spectacular and very private. We enjoyed it! Would have liked more shower towels .. sounds like a small detail but 4ppl staying in this home and 4 small shower towels. Minor detail but why not have more? Bring your own clothes washing detergent, sugar, etc. Thanks for letting us stay, we enjoyed our time. Cheers

Quiet, private piece of paradise

The views from the porch & sundeck are incredible. The cliff with stops to access to the ocean was pretty amazing. The house has two bedrooms and one small, shared bathroom. You would want to be pretty close to other occupants of the house because there is not an abundance of private indoor space but it was perfect for us. The small kitchen was adequate for simple meals. The space was clean and comfortable and the property manager was helpful and accommodating. This area of Eleuthera is very laid back and quiet. No big cities close by. But the property was a short drive from Gaulding Cay Beach & Queens Bath, both of which are beautiful. Across the road from the beach was a lovely restaurant, Daddy Joe's. We enjoyed the fish tacos, fish burger & conch crab cakes so much that we went twice. If you are looking for lots of activity look elsewhere but if you want a nice quiet destination to enjoy the natural beauty of the island this is a great spot. If we are ever in the area again we will be back.

This property checked all the boxes for us: private, quiet, views, good amenities, unique location, and competitively priced. One of the most unique features that may or may not appeal to guests is the access to the water. Definitely not for small children. But we thoroughly enjoyed plunging into the sea from the diving platform. Sitting on the deck feels like to you on the bridge of a ocean liner with expansive west views.

Secluded and beautiful paradise!

I stayed with my three children at Palm Bluff. It was magical. We didn’t need to go anywhere else but we did explore the island. The home is beautifully decorated in Serena and Lilly style and the beds are like heaven. The rain shower outside was amazing, even when taking care to reserve the water. I could escape here every year. We didn’t find great snorkeling, but we did experience amazing beach and sand. We loved jumping off the cliffs morning and night from the home’s steps down to the water. Turtles right off the shore. Thank you Ellett and Sarah for sharing your beautiful home. We tried to take good care of it. I’d like to come back!

Exquisit Spot, but....

What we really missed was a (foldable?) dining table on the patio so the gorgeous sunset while eating diner outside.The caretaker is exceptional! Here comes the "but": the drive to the house is more than rocky! Even a 4W-drive Jeep had a HARD time managing. This really needs to be addressed.

I think this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our week stay at Palm Bluff, was spectacular. It by far exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly clean and all amenities worked perfectly. The morning views were inspiring and the sunsets from the porch above the cliff were breathtaking. Swimming in the blue waters of the Caribbean was out of a magazine including a dramatic cliffside entrance. The water itself was rich with fish of all kinds, and there is a gorgeous reef close by that is perfect for snorkelling. We also saw a sea turtle and a ray from the porch! We brought a SUP which gave us access to the many bays and caves that dot the shoreline here. Surfers beach is about a 10minute walk away. We rented boards and took surf lessons from Tom at Surfers Haven. It was very fun and pretty low-key. When not in the water, Gregory Town, Hatchet Bay and Governor's Harbour all had great food! The rental team was super easy to communicate with and very helpful in providing information. We tried several of the restaurants they recommended it they were amazing. The house really is stunning, well decorated and super clean. Honestly I think this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in.

Perfect Caribbean Get Away!

We had an amazing time! The house is quiet and private. Beautiful views and sunsets. We traveled as a family of 4, with 2 boys (10,14) they loved jumping in the ocean every day. We made the quick drive across the highway to surfers beach each day which was beautiful and private, usually the only ones there. The home had everything we needed to make meals. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the home and would definitely book again.

Fabulous Trip

My husband and I stayed at Palm Bluff for a long weekend in February 2025. The house was spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything we could have needed. I can’t say enough about the views. The porch and sun deck were perfect spots for breakfast or watching the sun set over the water. We enjoyed having the calmer Caribbean at Palm Bluff but then having Surfers Beach, a beautiful and dramatic Atlantic beach, within walking distance. The house was a great base from which to explore Gregory Town and other parts of Eleuthera. The app for Palm Bluff provided lots of helpful information about both the house and the island that we appreciated having before the trip. It also made the arrival and departure process a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Place

We stayed here for five nights, the view was amazing, great snorkeling by the steps. Had a question connecting to WIFI, messaged the staff and was able to get it resolve within minutes. The bed was comfy and clean. Kitchen is equipped with enough pots and plates and utensil. Wish there were more shower towels for 5 nights but the two of us did fine, if there were 4 people then maybe you will have to ask for more. Some tiny flies in the house but I think that's just part of being on a island. We tried to use the laundry but there were no detergent. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to be back!

Within 30 minutes of almost everything you could want (restaurants, grocery, airport, etc). House is very well appointed in every room and all furniture is SUPER comfortable. Outdoor space is great with lots of lounge areas and convenient outdoor shower. Caretaker Tenielle is super responsive and helpful. Bluetooth stereo for easy music connection/ambiance. Water filter for those who don't want to bury the planet in millions more plastic bottles. Relaxing and comfortable stay overall; couldn't ask for much more, TBH.
