Hello to those looking for a little slice of paradise! We have our beautiful permacultural pad in the heart of San Remo ready for you, available over the Christmas, New Year, and January period. With the beach literally, one minute walk out our private back gate and the shops a couple of streets away, this is the ideal escape for those who want to avoid using their car. Bring your furry friend as well! There are four bedrooms (3 queen size beds and a single bed). An ensuite and walk in robe in the master bedroom. Another bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. Gas stove top, Bosch oven and dishwasher, and two living areas. An expansive gazebo area allows you to sit outside in the garden and be protected from the elements whilst also having a table big enough to sit the whole family down for an outdoor meal. Or choose to sit out the other side in amongst the big gum trees whilst watching the kids play on the swing set and slide. At night, be lulled by the sounds of the bay waves gently lapping at the shore. Be greeted in the morning by wattlebirds and magpies as they begin their day with their morning songs. You may even spot a Yellow tailed black cockatoo that are currently feasting on our Coast Banksias! Enjoy The Robyn's Nest â€ïž
We had a lovely time at Robyn's Nest. A relaxing family getaway which is very child and dog friendly with a secure back yard. Great location with access to the beach through a caravan park from the back gate. Nice and quiet location but still walking distance to local shops/supermarket.
Great communication from the owner who was friendly and helpful.
Hello all, let me tell you a little about ourselves. My name is Lou and I am Mum to Bella, Toli and Pati. The reason our home is available for holiday let is we are adventuring in our caravan for 12 months and seeing what this great country has to offer. We love our garden and are slowly converting the ornamental elements into ones that provide food and medicine. We invite you to gather the herbs and depending on the season, possibly some fruit or vegetables. We hope you enjoy your stay at The Robyn's Nest.
I want to share with you why we have titled our listing The Robyn's Nest. This is in honour of my Mum aka Mama to my kids and all the neighbourhood kids. This was her place before she was taken from us via cancer in 2013. Mum was the kind of woman who welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. As kids, my siblings and I grew up alongside many other kids whom she provided respite and a nurturing home to. It seemed only fitting that we name our listing of our warm, welcoming home after her and the metaphor of a nest. We want our guests to feel right at home and nestle in for a wonderful stay. Please admire the sculpture in the garden, created by local artist Camille Monet, which was commissioned as a memorial for Mum. It captures her image as a tree sending roots to the earth grounding us all, as she cradles all five of her kids in the branches. The branches support the bird bath on top welcoming birds to drink and bathe. We have been slowly transforming our little pad of paradise into our permacultural haven. We are blessed to live so close to the beach and enjoy the balance between productive garden and pure enjoyment. We hope you do too!
The undercover eating area here at The Robynâs Nest is a real bonus. It allows you to truly experience the garden whilst also being comfortable to share a meal with your family and friends. The garden has many sections and wraps around the whilst house. Itâs so fun to watch the kids run and explore all the little pockets.
