Do you love a Rooftop Deck? Us too. That's why we always look for a place like "Vitamin Sea" for a beach vacation. "Vitamin Sea" is a three bedroom/three bathroom duplex and spacious and comfortable in every way. It's just down the street from the ocean front Tiki Bar and Restaurant, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy a little peace.

There's a Queen bed in the primary bedroom, a Queen in the second and a set of Twin beds in the third making for a very comfortable accommodation for up to six people. Shower off outside after your beach excursion, enjoy the fast Wi-Fi when it's time for streaming a movie, or start off with a cup of coffee from the Keurig while you marvel at a beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic. Watch carefully as you may get to see the dolphins playing!

You'll find so many wonderful activities and attractions while staying in Carolina Beach. Go down to the Boardwalk for kiddie rides or people watching and grab some world-famous Britt's donuts. Take a walk around the lake, or visit there on Saturday mornings for the Farmer's Market. Explore Fort Fisher historical site or take a trip to the NC Aquarium located close by. Perhaps you would like to ride a ferry over to Southport for lunch one day, or head into Wilmington for cultural events or to see the Battleship North Carolina.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).

Highly Recommend!!!!

We just finished our weeks vacation here at “Paws Place” and truly enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless, well maintained and fit our family and our dog perfectly (especially since each bedroom essentially has their own bathroom to use). Having a washer and dryer within the unit and an outside shower was so helpful as well. Bryant Real Estate was so organized and sent us all the necessary information prior to our trip (I highly recommend using the hospitality app, as recommended by Bryant Real Estate, during your stay as well). We also loved the proximity to the beach (we walked there everyday), how quiet the neighborhood was and sitting out on the deck. Everyone in the neighborhood were so friendly. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Carolina Beach, NC!!

It was ok

The overall house was fine, however the outside decks were awful. Two of the decks have active wasp nests. The top deck had rotten boards and was falling apart.. definitely a safety hazard. The sliding glass door in the master bedroom was broken. The clothes dryer did not work for towels. The installer for the inside flooring was not good as they are gaps all over the place.

Nice Vacation Rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a nice vacation rental. The outside of the unit showed a bit of age, but the interior was nicely updated for the most part. Housekeeping could have been a bit better...there were crumbs, dirt/sand, etc. around the edges of the rugs and under the barstool seating. One thing to keep in mind is if you want to watch TV you'll need to be tech savvy enough to be able to login to streaming services as there doesn't appear to be any cable service at the place. While the place can sleep up to 6 I would say two of the 6 need to be kids as the smaller bedroom on the main level is a bit tight. It is manageable though, just be prepared the one room as a single bed with trundle.

Great location! Cute condo!

We loved location and the fact that there was 3 bathrooms. The condo is very well stocked and super cute. The trundle bed on the second floor was basically sleeping on a wooden box. It was so uncomfortable, one of the girls slept on the couch every night. Also, when we pulled the trundle bed out, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in there in quite a while. There were pens as well as lots of dust. The decks were super cute, however they needed updating as the boards were warped and it often felt unsteady. We did have a problem with maggots in the garbage when we got there. The garbage only comes once a week, and we got there two days before the garbage day. We emailed and called and someone was out very quickly to take care of the problem. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, we would stay here again!

Not a bad experience but I have had better in the area

In order to book this house, you have to sign a huge contract promising not to do all kinds of things like hang towels on the railings? It felt excessive and unnecessary and so right off the bat I felt other properties handled booking better. Upon check in, the house was not very clean. Considering they did not let us check in a minute early, I was expecting the house to be cleaner. Also, the bed in the master bedroom smelled like a pack of cigarettes. It was very unpleasant. NO SMOKING was emphasized in the huge contract so not sure how the bed smelled so bad. On a positive note, the house was exactly as advertised and I felt like it was spacious enough and was decently close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't mind staying here again, I just feel there are other properties in the area with better booking/cleanliness for the same price.

Great location. Poor beds.

Pros: Great location. Beach five blocks to the east. State park trail five blocks to the west. Home had all the essentials. Cons: street light floods the master suite even with the limited blinds closed and no blind on the upper window permitted neighbor’s roof top deck to see right in the master bedroom. Had a few encounters of where this mattered. Plus the master bed and pillows had a mattress/pillow covers. Sleeping on plastic was far from a luxurious night sleep. Switched to the back bedroom. It was darker. But again covers on both pillows and mattress created a slip and slide feel. Mattress covers aside, both bed mattresses were still uncomfortable. Suggestion: invest in inexpensive hotel grade pillows from Costco, a memory foam mattress, and please leave the plastic covers off. The experience would change dramatically.

Basic Comforts Missing

On the plus side the location was bear the beach and walking distance to restaursntd. But the negstives out weigh the positives in this case. The second queen bed mattress was so uncomfortable that our family memmber had to sleep on the couch. The mattress badly dented in the middle making it very uncimfortable to sleep. The same was noted for the trundle bed, the only decent mattress was the one up stairs. As far as essentials go no kcups for even a cup of coffee in the morning. Especially after arriving at 2am due to delayed flights. Towels were left out at s minimum with no extra's, and chairs sitting on the balcony were broken, cushions moulded and in need of replacement. Lastly I trier 3 x leaving emails with Bryant Real Estate to request a late check out due to late flights and no reply, so communication is rated as poorly. Overall the stay was adequate, nothing more b/c of the beds, and lack of basic essentials.

Bryant real estate was super easy to work with and even let us arrive early since the cleaning was done early. The location is great. An easy walk to the beach and also butts up to a cute residential neighborhood. We rented bikes and it was a Great area for biking around. There is a path in the back of the neighborhood that leads to a large city park with tennis, playground etc. about 1 mile down the path. Also several cute ice cream places, restaurants and the awesome Veggie Wagon within easy walking distance. Fort Fisher is also an easy drive down the road if you need a change of pace. The house is very simply done...not many extras here but you have what you need to get by and it felt very clean. The master bedroom doesn’t have a closet so not much room to store clothes etc except a small dresser. The couch has 2 built in recliners which are nice! The kitchen is rather well stocked but I do wish they had something besides non-stick cookware. Lots of great deck space and in March it was a quiet street so we were outside every night as the inside dining table is pretty small and cramped. I’m guessing during the summer it’s much busier and I will say your neighbors are very close. Very few people were there when we were there. The palm trees right out front make your feel like you are in SC or Florida. Overall an A and we will definitely consider returning!
