We had a party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) staying at this house. It was amazing and perfect for that size of party. We were all comfortable and cozy! We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings enjoying our coffee and sitting in the back yard in the afternoon and evenings around the fire pit. Hot tub was a plus too. We will absolutely be coming back

Destination wedding

Location beautiful and just as represented. Super clean and well supplied. Location is remote but winding road was easy to navigate for our summer stay. Accommodates several adult families with a bit of privacy for each.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and pretty well stocked. We really enjoyed the hot tub and long walks.

Fantastic location, property, and house!

This was one of my favorite rentals I’ve ever stayed at. The property is fantastic and secluded, and a perfect weekend getaway! Extremely kid and dog friendly. Couldn’t have been better.

Family Christmas

This property was perfect for my family this Christmas! The house was beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches. The location was somewhat remote, which was appreciated for peace and quiet during our family’s celebration. The house is extremely dog friendly and the yard is fenced all the way around so letting them out was no worry. I would definitely stay here again!

4th of July Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was the perfect 4th of July weekend. We spent it hiking, grilling, enjoying the hot tub, sitting by the campfire, roasting marshmallows, sitting under the stars/full moon, flying kites, enjoying wildlife, and doing lots of arts and crafts. We also really really appreciated the enclosed fence around the entire property allowing our pups to run wild! They as well had the best weekend. Not to mention, the house was beautiful and soo were the views. We would love to come back!

Colorado Cabin

In todays world it is difficult to find a location that lives up to promises and expectations. This cabin did both. Beautiful Cabin located just far enough away to be secluded. The willingness of the owner to allow pets and my RV was a real plus. With a little work it would be ADA accessible, with a little effort we made it work for my wheel chair bound brother. The Hot tub was wonderful. The view is hard to improve on. Thanks for a memorable week.

Private cabin with great views!

Overall our stay was great. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! They provided plenty of towels for hot tub and shower use. The kitchen was pretty well stocked which made it easy to cook for a large group. They had some plastic storage Tupperware which was really helpful for storing leftovers. The place was clean when we arrived. The place says it sleeps 13 and it does with 2 on an air mattress and 1 on an extra floor mattress as stated in the listing - so just know that when you book! There is only 1 bathroom upstairs so we shared the upstairs bathroom with 9 people but we made it work. It wasn’t too big of a deal for a short stay.

Definitely high on a mountain

I'm from Colorado and am used to driving in the mountains. Unfortunately my sister is not so was a bit scared of this drive. I arrived first to the property. All went well communicating how to check in. They made it easy. I appreciate all they did. This home is cozy and comfortable, a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the condition of cleanliness since we pay for it. Could have been much better. Kitchen had most of what we needed like spices and even some coffee. Don't forget to bring your own napkins, tin foil, zip lock bags and maybe extra paper towels. Beds are on the soft side. All was nice and quiet so slept well. Only thing we had difficulty with was trying to get the television to finally work. Luckily one of us was tech savvy. Overall we had a nice time staying at this property.

Beautiful Place They Don’t Want You At

The cabin was a beautiful place, and very nice. Just not completely functional. Half way cleaned, waste in toilet still and fowl smell. No propane, BBQ grill doesn’t work well. Got to 180 degrees. No battery in alarm pad, and hot tub only worked at 90 degrees. Problem was when we walked out of gate, we were attacked by a Colorado Karen who told us we were trespassing as soon as we walked out of gate. The woman in Red Jeep Cherokee then said because we walked over to look at rocks protruding out of ground across from property she was calling sheriff and said she was tired of the cabin owner having people rent cabin. We were told that we must not walk out of property. I called numbers for contact, and the man could care less. Said he would let owner know. Did not offer any help if we had done something wrong. Will certainly not be renting this cabin here again.

Owner's response: "Lige, We strive to make every stay a good one for our guests. Thank you for letting us know how your visit went. - We're not sure what you mean by not completely functional, most everyone loves the layout - We have addressed the cleaning issues with our team, we find this completely unacceptable and this will not happen again - Our grill is not even 3 months old and brand new it works great, perhaps we could have instructed you on how to use it - The hot tub has a control that can be changed by the person who uses it, if it was not hot enough you could have just increased the temperature with a simple adjustment - Trespassing is illegal and the neighbors are very particular when it comes to their property, we have no control over how they act. As for our manager, they could have been more forthcoming to let you know about this. We apologize if you felt this was not handled better We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for. "

Great House with a Spectacular View

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Beautifully decorated and appointed. This was a family trip for us with 8 adults (2 grandparents, their 2 sons with their wives, and 2 adult grandkids). It was wonderful having two king size bedrooms on the first floor. One is a typical master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The second king size bedroom is on the other side of the house and kind of its own wing. The bathroom is not en suite but just outside the bedroom door. Note that the bar area with the couch and pot belly stove is also in this wing. We used an air mattress in this bar area for one of the grandkids. The kitchen was well appointed, so we cooked most of our meals. Lots of spices available too (but check the dates). Big kitchen table comfortably sat all 8 of us. The patio area had 8 comfortable chairs and two propane fire pits. We enjoyed sitting out looking at the abundance of stars at night and making smores. We were lucky enough to be there during a meteor shower which was so amazing to see since it was very dark at night. Our daughter saw 10 shooting stars in one night. During the day, you get a beautiful view of the mountains and Pikes Peak in the distance. There were lots of birds and chipmunks to watch so make sure to pick up some bird seed. Also, bring your binoculars. This was the perfect house for our group. The only negative I can think of is its distance from everything, but that remoteness also made for a quite retreat away from everything. It is 25 minutes to Cripple Creek and 1 hour into Colorado Springs. Woodland Park is the closest Walmart / grocery store, and it is 40 minutes away, so stock up on your way in. We flew in and out of Denver (2.5 hours away) because it offered better and cheaper flight options for us than Colorado Springs. Other things to note: The last 10-15 minutes of the drive is on a dirt road with lots of twists and turns as you go up and down the mountain. Try to arrive during the daylight hours the first time to help make this last part of the trek to the house easier to navigate. We have AT&T and had no cell service within 20 minutes of the house. Make sure to set your navigation before leaving the house. There were some mentions of grumpy neighbors on other reviews. We stayed within the fenced in area of the property and had no issues. There is no AC. It wasn't a problem for us even in August.

Mothers 60th birthday vacation

My family was able to come together in a home large enough for all of us. The home was spacious and perfect for us all. The views are incredible outside the home and surrounding areas. The property manager was very quick and responsive with my requests.

Beautiful Colorado Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pool table and hot tub are wonderful additions! The house was large enough to accommodate 5 adults and 2 kids with plenty of room to spare. We made good use of the kitchen and outdoor space. We also loved that our dogs could join us. Beautiful views! Thank you for making it easy and fun!

Beautiful cabin

Had a fantastic time during our stay in Florissant. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The place was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The house itself is beautifully decorated, very clean and had plenty of space to allow us to spread out. We would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the area.
