We loved this quiet cabin that allowed our family to relax and spend time together. The views were spectacular and we loved getting to see a glimpse of wildlife. Definitely will try to come back again.
We had the most amazing time with family. The house was beautiful, the scenery was beautiful. The drive to the cabin is just breathe taking....would recommend.
Great location -- the view is beautiful, especially in the mornings. Hosts gave us lots of information and everything went really smoothly. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. The only drawback would be that the driveway is a little steep and there's not much room for more than one car. We had a wonderful time!
This was our third or fourth stay at this cabin, and it's continued to grow better each time. I appreciate the ability to disconnect, though there is wifi if needed. The best part is how secluded and tranquil it is. Every stay I've seen mule deer graze through. The updates, including solar panels and a digital display showing the water tank's fill level is great. It was very cozy and the weather was gorgeous.
My favorite thing about the property was the view and quiet location. My kids enjoyed the board games. The kitchen was well stocked, and the owners communicated instructions very well. I might caution a family with young kids to take note that there is not a bathtub, and the stairs are a little daunting for little ones. We managed well regardless, but those are things I didn't think about beforehand.
Cute and cozy, home was stocked and made it easy to stay for a week. Clean and absolutely loved the convenience of washer and dryer. Perfect for kids with the upstairs loft, beds, and gaming set up.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a short trip to the area. The cabin was great and we did not have any issues. The owners provided great information and instructions. The location is very peaceful and quiet. It was a great experience!
We really enjoyed staying at your cozy cabin! There was tons to do nearby and great views both at the cabin and nearby. It was a great vacation for my family, and refreshing to get out of the city!
Gene and Nancy were very pleasant to deal with. The property was clean and open with beautiful views. We enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and the starry night sky. There's plenty to do on and around the property and town.
We highly recommend it for a quiet getaway or hanging with family and friends.
This cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Not too far from the city but far enough! And the incredible views. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!
This cabin is a total delight! The mountain views are spectacular and we didnât even want to leave the cabin for day trip activities. We hiked down to the creek and found deep snow drifts, even did some sledding right in the valley! Our kids loved it. The cabin was clean and the wood burning stove was so cozy. Watching the water level was no problem. The roads in the neighborhood are dirt, but plowed and extremely well-maintained. We saw beautiful birds, no big horn sheep at the cabin, although we saw some sheep at Garden of the Gods! Thanks Gene and Nancy for sharing your home with our family! We hope to return someday.
We absolutely enjoyed our time at this mountain cabin. The views were beautiful! We saw Mule Deer and a herd of Big Horn Sheep grazing on site. The cabin itself was clean, well maintained, and stocked with things we may have forgotten. Even though we werenât able to use everything, there were games, puzzles, books, movies, bikes and more for guests. We appreciated their thoughtfulness to have provided those items. Our overall experience was exceptional!
House was clean and hosts were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay but one of the beds need a new mattress as it was not comfortable. Other than the mattress everything was great.
My family had a great time at this cabin. The location was gorgeous and very relaxing. There was plenty to do at the cabin; we enjoyed a game of Risk in the evenings.
Itâs definitely off the beaten path but it was sooo worth it! The drive didnât bother us because it was so beautiful! Very clean and perfect instructions for everything and very easy to understand!
We loved staying here. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the towns, but close enough to drive in for groceries or a bite to eat. The house had everything we needed and we even used the wood burning stove one cool night. We went and did an electric bike tour through Garden's of the God's which was spectacular and we got caught in a downpour. It was definitley a memorable experience. I would recommend this quiet, secluded cabin to anyone wanting to enjoy a nice quiet week away from all the city stuff.
I couldnât say enough how much we enjoyed our stay! They thought of everything while we stayed there and we were all in awe at the scenery! Thank you for an amazingly, unforgettable vacation!!

A family cabin near Park City, Utah, inspired us to want to build our own. Plus, we were looking for a place that the whole family could enjoy. We found it in Divide. Completed in 2012, we add improvements to it each year.
Besides its quiet comfort, our cabin is uniquely situated to enjoy so much of Colorado. There's something for everyone - from mountain biking, to hiking to touring - and a comfortable place to return to, cook a meal, play a board game, read a book or watch a movie. Perfect for families.
