Welcome to Rose on Rye, your private oasis.<br>

Nestled in a quiet street off Canterbury Jetty Road, this beautiful house will see you relax as soon as you enter through the gates. Multiple living areas, outdoor retreats along with the solar heated pool will provide the ultimate holiday.

Please Note strictly no schoolies or young groups. We unfortunately do not have the systems in place to manage young group bookings. We prefer mature adults and family groups, this is due to the strict code of conduct enforced by the Mornington Peninsula Shire for short stays and our strict noise policy due to our closeness to neighbours properties.
Visitors are allowed for day visits on the property during your stay but will require prior permission from the owner for overnight stay. Our Security Company monitors this and will alert us.

Bed Linen (not towels) is supplied free of charge with seven night bookings only. For all other bookings if you do not wish to bring your own bed linen and towels Bay Linen in Capel Sound 0458231232 has a service you can organize directly with for hire.
If you wish to use the fireplace you will need to supply your own firewood.

Thank you Margaret for a lovely, relaxing stay. Bathrooms and kitchen are fresh and clean, and comfortable beds and linen. The kids loved their bedroom full of toys and the table tennis was a big hit. Whilst my husband and I enjoyed morning walk/runs along the beach road or over hills behind the house - the kids not so much :D

Fabulous property and very well equipped - an easy 15min walk to the front beach. Children loved the swimming pool and pool toys, the seperate living area for the children to hang out with their friends was a bonus. Excellent communication by the owner and offered us an early checkin 
. Beautiful outside area for BBQ and dining. Would highly recommend - all the small things provided like, washing up liquid, laundry stuff, kitchen stuff - salt, pepper, tea, coffee, olive oil, breakfast spreads, ample toilet paper, body wash, hand cream, tissues, bin bags, pet friendly and didn’t smell of pets. Loved it

Great vacation!

The property was as described and was perfect for out getaway over the long weekend. Communcation with the owner was A1 and the property was clean, instructions for using the property were easy to follow and the facilities were great - especially the pool! Look forward to coming back and utilising the property again in the future :)

Well located, quiet, peaceful get away.

Our families stays in rose on rye during Christmas holidays, Very cozy home, very clean and great decorations inside and out, with everything you need in the kitchen, lots of boardgames, good size pool keeps the kids entertained, great location very near the beach and few mins drive to shopping centre and super market.

Great place for a relaxing getaway

Margaret was wonderful from the start and communication was good. The property is very well equipped and had everything we needed which was helpful as we came from WA.The pool was well used as the beach was very windy some days.Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home

Had such an amazing time staying at rose on rye. Margaret was fantastic and easy to communicate with. The house has everything you need. Kids had a blast in the games room with lots of different games for them to play. Will definitely stay again

THE RESORT

What a superb place to totally wind down and totally forget about the hassles of everyday life. We had a great time and so did our dogs who enjoyed the freedom to roam around a great sized property. This was a very well-presented property, you can't fault it. Would definitely be booking again in the very near future

Had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay, the property is perfectly located, presented and well maintained. Loads of little extras around that make a difference to the overall experience if staying there. Margaret was super helpful and a first rate host. We’ll be back again for sure - 5 stars!

Highly recommend this lovely property

It is a very lovely place to stay. Spacious , very clean , very well presented and a perfect place to unwind we also enjoyed the fantastic outdoor area where we could unwind and relax and pool area was perfect . Margaret was amazing very welcoming and takes great care in accomodating for her guests . communication was great and we appreciated her checking in during our stay :) It was the perfect choice for a great girls weekend away .Certainly would recommend and will definitely be back again 😊

Fantastic choice

Margaret's place is fantastic - the kind where you arrive and within 10 seconds feel great about your choice. Nice pool, comfortably furnished throughout, shaded BBQ area out the back. Short distance from most things on the peninsula. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Pre-Christmas Holiday at Rose on Rye

Margaret truly saved our holiday! After our previous booking in Rye was unexpectedly cancelled just 24 hours before our trip, Margaret graciously accepted our last-minute request to stay at her beautiful home. The communication with her was seamless, and the house and its location exceeded all our expectations. We spent countless hours relaxing by and swimming in the pool, which was an absolute highlight for my 15 year old son. We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Rye!

Home away from home

The house was most welcoming, and spotless. The two indoor living areas were terrific for the two age groups. The outdoor BBQ area was great and wish it had been warmer to use the pool. Everything we needed was there to make our stay most enjoyable, would book this place again with no hesitation with the host even offering a late checkout.

Absolutely enjoyed every aspect of this house. The house was exceptionally clean and tidy, had great facilities that we could all enjoy. Overall it was amazing, it had everything and more than we needed. Margaret was a dream to work with, was very understanding and responded quickly. I can't recommend this place enough.

Perfect for a couple or family get away! Location: great spot...back far enough from the beach it's quiet, but still within walking distance Beach: the front beach (near house) is shady, quiet and relaxing. House: fabulous reno, nice and clean, well cared for, good equipment & HEAPS of games! Finally, the host (Margaret) is thoughtful, quick to respond, friendly and great to deal with. We'll be back!

Perfect amount of everything.

We just had the BEST time. The kids loved the pool, and we loved the space. The kids could play in the rumpus room while we relaxed in the main living area. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The house is close enough to walk to the front beach as well as the shops. Nice quiet area which suited us for our stay. Margaret was a dream host and was always available if we had any questions. Everything went well and we will be certainly coming back very soon.

Great Summer House Escape

We had a great holiday, very satisfied. The swimming pool was a big hit for all. Separate living rooms was great for parents and teenage kids, with cosy couches. The house was well presented with nice furniture. Chess board was a big hit also, long night comps which were fun. Smart T.V's with many streaming services available to stream from including Kayo Sports for the Sport lovers. Walking distance to the beach and Blairgowrie coffee shops/restaurants. Looking forward to staying their again.

Immaculate

This is our family's first stay and experience at this property in the Rye Mornington Peninsula ever. I must say that from the moment we opened the driveway gates we as a family incl Dad who was visiting from NZ and our beloved dog Marley were impressed from the get go. Spacious, very clean well kept with generous amenities. The pool was a hit with everyone including our son's friends. BBQ area in the back was a nice surprise very tranquil and a delightful space. Definitely be returning for regular holiday stays. Thank you Margaret a delight to deal with no issues in communication full transparency and understanding of our specific needs. What you see in the pictures is absolutely accurate and well worth the effort, thanks again. The Mariner family.

I have a lot of pride in my house as you can see and welcome people to enjoy it whilst understanding I appreciate you treat the property and the neighbourhood with respect.

Rose on Rye is a private place for you and your guests and offers a home away from home.

The pool area is obviously a popular place that is safe as well as private. There are plenty of places to relax and take in the quiet surrounds while catching some sun.

Inside you are presented with two large and connecting living areas where you ban take a break.

The BBQ area outside that adjoins a nice lawn area offers another great break out space for you and your guests.

The kitchen and laundry will allow you to live like you do in your own home.

Each room is well presented and offers space for you to feel right at home.

While the property is very comfortable and has everything you will need, you will also have access to the family friendly beach just a short walk as well as the Blairgowrie Shops.

The Hot Springs and Golf Courses are just a short drive as well as a trip to Rosebud or Sorrento.
