Mr & Mrs Smith is a beautifully presented 5-bedroom home with a large outdoor deck making it a fabulous place to catch up with the family or friends. It's the perfect spot to relax or set off for a spot of adventure.
A popular holiday spot, Nelson is great for those summer days to just chill out on the decking. With plenty of room and beds you can bring the whole family. The property has a ensuite and main bathroom as well as an outdoor shower. A combined kitchen and living allows for the creature comforts of home and is followed by a separate lounge with dining area that opens up to the large deck area which includes an outdoor setting and an electric BBQ.
Just a 40-minute drive from Portland towards the South Australian Border (20 minutes from Mount Gambier), Nelson is the ideal holiday location that allows you to explore the entire South West of Victoria or East West of South Australia. Nelson has something for everyone. Nature lovers will be in awe of its natural beauty, fishers its piscatorial delights and for the more adventurous there is kayaking and bush walking, not to mention it is surrounded by ample tourist attractions such as the Nelson Endeavor boat cruise, Princess Margaret Rose Caves, Mount Gambier's famous Blue Lake or Portland's Bridgewater Bay, cable trams and Great South West Walk. We were looking for a comfortable house with 4 bedrooms and this ticked the boxes although there were some issues. I had made arrangements when making my booking to park our caravan at the property and my husband would be sleeping in it. I received a phone call about this which was unnecessary. This information should have been noted on the B&B booking. Both sliding doors were very hard to move and one fell off. We found it had been installed upside down so we replaced it back on the runners and then it slid easily. The grassed area was quite long and lumpy and there were quite a few spider webs and dust. There was no hair dryer.
