What a great stay we had at this cabin! Everything was exactly as pictured—beautiful, clean, and well thought-out. This cabin is perfect for both families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into every part of it. The communication with the owner was outstanding. When a small issue came up, it was handled quickly, professionally, and with great care. We especially loved the personalized note waiting for us upon arrival—such a thoughtful touch! You truly won’t be disappointed choosing this place for your next stay.

We just returned from a truly wonderful stay at this charming cabin near Broken Bow Lake, and I can’t say enough good things about it. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat that feels like a true escape into nature—but without sacrificing comfort—this is it.The cabin strikes that perfect balance of rustic character and thoughtful design. From the warm wood finishes and cozy fireplace to the high-quality linens and fully stocked kitchen, every detail felt intentional. It’s clear the owners put a lot of love into creating a space that’s both welcoming and functional.We especially appreciated how close the cabin was to the lake—it made spontaneous hikes and sunset walks by the water super easy. Despite its proximity to all the attractions Broken Bow has to offer, the cabin still felt secluded and serene, surrounded by tall pines and quiet evenings.We picked this cabin because it had an EV charger, but would rent it again because of the special touches the host provided from towels for the screened in hot tub, to all the excellent communication!Clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained—this is the kind of place you immediately feel at home in. Best Cabin

It was the most calm and cozy anything and everything you needed. It was there. Hot tub was awesome. Lots of games for the kids right close to everything didn’t have to drive far for groceries or attractions. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay at Midnight Fireflies! The cabin was decorated so perfectly and the attention to detail was like nothing I’ve ever seen. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked more than we dined out and there wasn’t any cooking utensil they didn’t have. The location of the cabin was close to everything and there was plenty of parking for our big truck and trailer with the SXS. Liz and Don were gracious hosts and the property was immaculate. We will definitely stay here again.

Small town relaxation

Excellent house, felt at home as soon as we stepped inside the front door. My husband has a very stressful job as a first responder and relaxation was the only agenda item, this house and location delivered. My husband said “I’d come back here in a heartbeat”.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I snuck away for a relaxing weekend, and this was the perfect, cozy space! The cabin is so charming, and the owners have clearly considered every detail necessary to make it feel like home. There was plenty of cookware in the kitchen, and we took advantage of the local meat market to put together a beautiful steak dinner. Sipping coffee on the screened-in porch was such a treat. They have an extensive DVD collection in addition to WiFi/ smart tv access to our streaming accounts. The bed was super comfy, and the couch had recliners at either end. It was a fantastic weekend, and we are already planning to return.

We really enjoyed the location of this cabin. Close enough to places we wanted to go, but quiet and serene. Perfect for our family of 4. The hosts go above and beyond and have the most excellent communication I’ve ever experienced. You can tell they really care and enjoy sharing this sweet cabin in the woods they’ve created. We hope to come back someday!

Liz and Don’s cabin is awesome. The details and love and care they put into their cabin is amazing. We had a fantastic time, felt right at home away from home. Wonderful little getaway

Everything was perfect! When we arrived we surprised with personalized notes, word searches a cake mix and icing and a happy birthday banner. The house was very clean including the hot tub. Not one single negative! The hosts were amazing and very communicative, they made sure everything was just right. We will definitely be back !

Wonderful Cabin!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Liz and Don left great little extra perks like word puzzles personalized with our names, cupcake mix and icing. The owners helped us quickly when we had questions. Overall, the cabin was the best we have stayed in around the Broken Bow/Beavers Bend area. Highly recommend.

Great getaway place.

We adored this charming and cozy cabin nestled in the woods! Conveniently close to stores and restaurants, it was spotless with a well-equipped kitchen We looked forward to enjoying the hot tub knowing that it is drained and sanitized after each renter. Nicely decorated and thoughtful touches from the owners, like an Ugly Sweater Cookie Kit and personalized Word Search, made us feel more like cherished guests, rather than renters. Every detail was meticulously considered, and the owners were prompt in answering our questions. We enjoyed fishing, painting, relaxing and reading while we were there. This was the perfect escape for us!

Wonderful gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is clean! It has everything we needed. The location was great! The beds were comfy. We had fun playing games in the backyard, roasting marshmallows and soaking in the hot tub. We also watched fun movies and gazed at the stars. I highly recommend this lovely cabin for a fun and peaceful getaway.

A unique cabin experience

Don and Liz provided a unique cabin experience during our stay at Midnight Fireflies. Liz communicated with us every step of the way and provided a personalized experience. Great place!!

Had a great broken bow vacation! It was our second stay in this lovely cabin. It had everything we needed, as well as thoughtful touches like personalized word searches for the kids and a cake mix for our family to enjoy. Communication with the owner is great and we love the Tesla charger. This area can be difficult for an EV owner, so it's a huge benefit to be able to charge up at your cabin. Definitely will be back.

Midnight Fireflies is magical!

Don & Liz go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a stress free and memorable vacation. Midnight Fireflies was super clean, cozy, and has everything you could possibly need while at their home away from home. Comparable to staying with family! My kids loved chasing fireflies in the evening and watching deer walk through the yard. Short drive to the marina for some fun on the lake, and close to all the wonderful restaurants. I convinced my parents to tag along last minute and they loved it as well. Perfect place for some family fun. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us, a trip we will never forget!

Midnight Fireflies cabin is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. Don & Liz definitely set themselves apart from the others by making you feel that their cabin is your personal home away from home. We loved the personalized notes, crossword searches, and ingredients to bake cookies together as a family. We made so many memories while there and would love to stay here again in the future. The Cabin You've Been Looking For!

This cabin is impeccable in every way, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Every modern convenience is available, including three huge flat screen TV's with full streaming service and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has granite countertops with a large penisula bar and stools for four, plus a tall table and bar stools for four more in the dining area. All appliances appear to be new. In fact everything in the house looks new and good quality, including the furniture, bedding, towels, dishes, pots and pans, you name it, it's there and it's lovely! The cabin has a large shady wrap-around porch with plenty of comfortable seating, plus a gas grill and table and chairs for outdoor dining. A large hot tub can be found on the enclosed porch along with several outdoor games including Corn Hole and Connect Four. There's also a fire pit and Adirondack-type chairs on the property for further relaxation. This house has it all, including the nicest owners! You won't be disappointed!
