Retro Rose Retreat is not your typical cabin in the woods...

This cabin sits among towering pine and oak trees in the Ouachita National Forest. And while it's definitely a retreat in the woods...it's also a perfect base camp right in the heart of all the great things to do in the Beaver's Bend area (within a couple of miles of Broken Bow Lake, The Grateful Head, Mountain Fork Brewery, Hochatown Distilling, escape room adventures, petting zoo, maze, and a whole host of other restaurants and attractions).

Throughout the cabin, you'll find an atmosphere of comfort and luxury that will ease you into a relaxing, romantic escape from the hustle & bustle of the world.

But this place has another side, too...

It's got soul; retro and funky with tons of space for you to spread out and do your thing, whatever that thing might be.

From the new custom-made, 2-player arcade cabinet with more than 4700 games!!! This machine has almost every classic arcade game from the ’80s and ’90s. It also has newer games like Street Fighter, Metal Slug Series, Golden Tee, The Simpsons, and so much more with a trackball to help you achieve your highest score!

To the old rotary-dial phone booth in the living room (yes, it works, but local calls only)…

To the master bathroom, with its antique cast iron soaking tub/handheld shower and an antique Singer sewing machine vanity...

To the elevated catwalk out back, which leads from the master suite to a private porch where you can see a million stars on a clear night. In the morning, have coffee while watching the deer wander beneath you as you listen to the awakening woods...

To the Gremlin, the acoustic guitar which lives on the wall by the fireplace, and which you can play while enjoying your time around the fire with family and friends or a duet with the piano!

Well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. A nice coffee set up with Keurig, a drip machine, a pour-over pitcher, and a French press to choose from. There is an electric water kettle so you can easily make tea as well. One-of-a-kind, gorgeous concrete countertops. Gas log fireplace (in a massively awesome stone chimney with flatscreen TV). Full-size washing machine and dryer. New outdoor grill with propane provided by a line from the big tank-you won't run out mid-grill! Also provided is a picnic table on a flagstone patio. The fire pit has Adirondack chairs and, best of all, firewood is provided!

The sleeper sofa in the living room has a new 4.5-in. memory foam mattress. Upstairs, you will find one ensuite master bedroom with 1 King bed with a Tempu-Pedic topper and 1 Queen bed. There is a private guest room with Queen bed. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV. One more full bathroom is found downstairs with a walk-in shower finished with beautiful subway tile.

There are a few general aviation and private plane airports, with one in Broken Bow (RNWY 3200 ft). Nearby Idabel, OK (RNWY 4000 ft.) and DeQueen, AR (RNWY 5000 ft) have longer runways.
