Drop Bear Cottage - Pet Friendly

Fully equipped three-bedroom home with easy access to Lake Victoria, the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauties of Lake Victoria and The 90 Mile Beach.

Drop Bear Cottage is the perfect spot to escape your busy lifestyle and enjoy your next holiday. Treat your pet to a great holiday too! Please remember to bring your pets bedding and anything else required to make their stay as comfortable as yours.

The home has a deck at the front with plenty of chairs to enjoy breakfast out in the sunshine and a BBQ. Heading inside to an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms all with double beds, comfortably sleep six. Bathroom and separate laundry. A carport for undercover parking and plenty of room to bring your boat or jet ski.

Lake Victoria is a short stroll from the property which is perfect for many water sports. The Deep-Water Jetty and Boat ramp is located not too far away either.

Town facilities include, Lakeview Bar and Bistro located on the foreshore of Lake Victoria. The Hotel provides a free minibus pickup for patrons. A Licenced Supermarket, Café/Takeaway Shop, Fish & Chip Shop, Golf, RSL, Boat Club, Bowls club are all on offer here.

fantastic family/pet friendly place to stay

Wonderful place, location great for walking to lake, pier, IGA. house lovely and clean with lots of little thoughtful touches. yard was perfect and secure for our kids and dog. Will stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Lochsport short getaway

Lovey 3br cottage style accommodation, fully fenced yard suitable for large dogs. Quiet and comfortable, convenient access to main road, well appointed and great communication with manager. Will stay here again.

Great place to stay

We loved our weekend at drop bear cottage. As soon as you arrive it feels comfortable and homely. The fenced in yard was great to keep the kids in without worrying about cars on the road. We enjoyed the board games, TVs in the bedrooms, and sitting on the verandah. We will be back for sure.

Lovely cottage

The stay was amazing, fresh beds, and comfottable sleep. The kitchen was a little dirty in the cupboards having to clean before we used items as im guessing mr moussy has a residancy lol. Overall beautiful and cosy. Thanks for the stay

Excellent!

Property was excellent, had everything we needed. Great location, very close to the lake and supermarket. House was immaculate. The kids loved the supplied games, WiFi/Internet worked well. Beds super comfy. Can't fault the place! Friendly and plentiful wildlife. We even got treated to a huge lightning storm across the lake one night that we got to watch from the comfortable patio. Tracey is a great host. Thanks for having us, we had a great time!

A nice pet friendly getaway

We wanted a getaway somewhere quiet over the Xmas week with our small dog, that had a secure yard, and was walking distance to the beach. All above was ticked off with this place. What we didn’t like - we expected the place to be spotless due to the reviews (it was definitely not), a decent size fridge (& clean), a TV that could pick up all free view channels as a minimum (but preferably a smart TV) & decent kitchen knives (as we stayed 6 nights). If I was to be picky, I’d prefer cotton sheets/doona covers over the thin polyester ones provided (good to know if you’re like me). That said, the BBQ is excellent and the deck is a great place to relax in the afternoon sun, & our dog had the best time with plenty of outdoor space.

Great pet friendly accommodation with good location. Only downside really was the main tv only having abc and SBS which luckily are our preferred channels. Loved the coffee machine.

An excellent house for our family to stay in for a few days. A great space with everything we needed, a good provision of games for the kids, and we loved the firestove. A nice walk into town along the beach.

Comfortable space

Short family break, managed to read two books from the house. Also managed to trip the fuse and then couldn't find the fuse box. Very sorry about that.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay so much, everything was perfect and fit our needs. lots of kids games and comfy beds, backyard was perfect for our child and big dog and lots of parking space. Thank you so much, we hopefully will be back for another stay soon!

Base for a fishing trip with mates

Drop Bear Cottage is an excellent little getaway. The accommodation was well appointed with all comforts provided making our stay very easy. I was impressed with the conveniences at such a reasonable price! Thank you, it was exactly what we needed!
