The Riverlodge Estate
The large home sits on the banks of Tybee Creek, a picturesque waterway not far from the island's Atlantic coast and just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants and attractions. Across the water, you can see Little Tybee Island, a wetland renowned for its diversity of wildlife and flora.
Inside, two complete levels accommodate two separate families with three bedrooms, two baths, a fully stocked kitchen and communal spaces on each floor. On the main floor, a generous screened porch with river views offers plenty of seating, including a bistro table, cushioned benches, picnic tables and a wicker conversation grouping.
Step through gracious French doors into the living area. Comfortable sofas, hardwood floors and a flat-screen television invite you to sit down, breathe deeply and relax.
The dining room boasts a big farmhouse table that seats up to eight. The main-floor kitchen includes a granite-topped island with a breakfast bar that seats three. A full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, range-oven and microwave streamline home-cooked meals. Plates, cups, flatware and cookware fill the cupboards and drawers.
Also, on this level of the Riverlodge, you'll find three spacious bedrooms with queen-sized beds, perfect for any combination of couples and kids. The first features a wall of windows with a street view.
The second bedroom has big windows, a desk and beside tables. The third is a corner bedroom and benefits from windows on two sides. A roomy wardrobe and dresser offer ample storage for your clothes. Both of these bedrooms overlook the main floor deck.
Two full bathrooms are handy to all three bedrooms. Both have a tub/shower combination. A colorful mosaic tile floor distinguishes the first while the second has a cozy, vintage vibe.
Upstairs, an expansive atrium-style ceiling opens up the living spaces. A wrap-around balcony helps you make the most of the spectacular views from your aerie.
Inside, a cozy sitting room with a sectional sofa and TV is a great spot to write postcards or check your email. The dining room overlooks the water, so you can watch passing boats and paddleboarders while you enjoy a family-style meal.
The contemporary kitchen offers all the amenities you'd expect in vacation rentals Tybee Island GA, including a full complement of appliances and fully stocked cupboards. All you have to add are fresh ingredients from Tybee's shops.
Explore further, and you'll find a fabulous master suite. Furnished with an ample king-sized bed plus a twin and trundle, this suite sleeps four and is ideal for a family. There's a chaise lounge and desk in a sitting area by the windows, and a ceiling fan for added comfort at night.
The ensuite bathroom boasts a stone-tiled bath and shower plus plenty of shelves and cubbies. Like guests in all our Tybee Island vacation homes, you'll have plenty of fresh towels to see you through your stay.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and a breathtaking view of the waterfront. Wicker seating, a roomy wardrobe and a ceiling fan complete the charming tableau. The third bedroom provides pair of twin beds. A set of windows overlooks the outdoor seating area. The second bath on this level has a tiled shower and chic, country-style décor.
Like most of our Tybee vacation rentals, Riverlodge includes a number of additional amenities like air conditioning, a washer/dryer, covered parking, and Wi-Fi. Don't forget about our swimming pool, reserved exclusively for Tybee Island vacation homes guests. It's a great way to exercise and socialize too.
Step out to the private backyard dock and take in sweeping views of the river, where golden sunsets paint the sky each evening. Whether you're sipping a glass of wine beneath the covered pavilion, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, this scenic riverside perch offers the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
Nearby Tybee Island Activities
If you want to get a closer look at the area beyond the creek, take a kayak tour of Little Tybee Island. Strangely enough, the actual 6,780-acre area of this unpopulated wetlands is about twice that of Tybee Island proper. The children and adults in your group will find the native flora and fauna fascinating.
Egrets, herons, storks, and roseate spoonbills are among the waterfowl you're likely to see on your Little Tybee tour. You'll also find stretches of pristine beaches where you can land snd search for shells. Maritime forests are also a part of this diverse ecosystem.
Getting there is as easy as touching base with one of the gear rental and tour companies on Tybee. Tybee Island Charters, for example, caters to Tybee vacation rentals guests. They offer two to four-hour kayak tours and a Sunset Picnic package too.
When you return after an adventurous day, stroll on over to AJ's Dockside Restaurant for a fresh-caught meal. Visit nearby Tybrisa Street for dessert. They're both just a short walk away from the Riverlodge estate.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.
The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Guests with Pets
This property is not pet-friendly. If you're traveling with a dog, ask us about our pet-friendly properties that accommodate up to 2 dogs (50 lb combined weight max) for a $130 pet fee.
Long-Term Stays
For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.
