Separated from the main house by a sheltered courtyard, the cottage feels completely your own, ideal for couples, families, or friends looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
The open-plan living area opens onto a wide deck with expansive views across the Coromandel Ranges, making it the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, quiet afternoons, and memorable sunsets. After a beach day or long walk, sink into the outdoor bath filled with hot water and surrounded by native trees, especially magical in the evening as the stars come out.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all essential cooking items, making self-catering simple and enjoyable or head to the Coroglen Tavern 5 minutes away for a casual meal.

The main bedroom features a king-size bed in quality cotton sheets, with a generous bathroom next door, ideal for a couple seeking a restful retreat. For families or those travelling with friends, a second bedroom with its own ensuite can be added. This room offers a super-king bed that can be split into two singles, providing flexible sleeping options.

This accommodation is perfectly suited for:

Orchard cottage: Home from Home

Perfect. Anne and David have thought of everything. From initial greeting on arrival to kitchen, bathroom fixtures and fittings, spacious and comfortable bedrooms.Facilities and views rival any 5* hotel we’ve stayed in.

Fabulous Coroglen

This is a fabulous place to stay. My wife and two kids 3 and 6, absolutely loved it.Property has stunning views, everything you need for a relaxing stay and two superb hosts in Anne and David. Great for our two kids, with outdoor play freely available, animals to interact with, plenty of space to roam around. Thank you so much to Anne and Dave for hosting us, i'm sure we will be back again!

Hard to Fault

While no where is perfect, this is a great property and host. From the welcome sign at the gate, though to the supplies provided, meeting Anne and David and getting a rundown on the property, everything was really well done. It's a quiet property with a peaceful rural outlook, it had everything we needed (and more). While we don't keep a tally, it's probably the best place BaB place we've stayed. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was also the bonus of the carport where we could unload out of the rain. There is a 10GB limit on the wifi, but we weren't staying there so we could spend all our time on the internet or streaming movies. All in all, it was a really good place for us to stay. Thanks very much for your hospitality Anne and David.

Sweet Escape

Enjoyed this great property out in the country. It's very private and secluded yet very accessible to most if the attractions. Our host Anne and David are lovely. They took the time to meet me and my friends and welcomed us. The place has nice views of the farmland with great sunsets. Would love to come back again. Easily one for our books of staycation. A relaxing week away at Coroglen

The Orchard Cottage is a lovely property, well maintained and in a great position with wide country views from the deck. Anne is a good host and made sure that we had everything we needed. We’ve used Bookabach for many years and this is the best property we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

It is totally self catering and separated from the main dwelling by a sheltered courtyard.
The living area opens onto a wide deck and the kitchen is well equipped with all essential cooking items .The two bedrooms have king sized beds so it is ideal for a couple or two couples or a couple with a small family.

We are situated in a country environment with an orchard and animals at the adjacent farm. It is totally private with no neighbours and has views of the Rangihau valley and Coromandel Ranges.
It has a unique location to explore the attractions of the Coromandel. Hot Water Beach, Hahei, Tairua and Whitianga are just 20 minutes drive.
