Located above Highlands Country Club on Hudson Road, this cherished family cottage exudes old highlands charm. Lovely grounds and old stone work frames this original 1935 cottage which is adorned with wormy chestnut, chunky stone and school house windows.
Main Level:
The main level features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is charming with farmhouse cabinets, hardwood floors, and butcher block countertops, evoking a nostalgic, vintage feel. Each bedroom has its own unique décor, adding to the home's vintage charm. The large screened porch is perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco, providing ample space to enjoy the outdoors in comfort.
Upper Level:
The upper level hosts a King suite with an ensuite bathroom, complete with a wood-burning fireplace. This private retreat provides an ideal space for relaxation and offers a cozy, secluded feel for those seeking extra privacy.
Outdoor Spaces:
Step inside the home through a welcoming screened-in porch, thoughtfully furnished with cozy seating that perfectly reflects the charm and character of Highlands. Just off the kitchen, the front patio offers another inviting outdoor spaceâfeaturing a gas grill, a firepit for cool mountain evenings, and a classic iron patio set, ideal for casual dining or simply enjoying the fresh air.
Recently added by the owners is an electric vehicle charging station for guests to use free of charge!
Owner's Note: We enjoy the beautiful mountain views and fabulous sunsets from the big screened-in porch. It is a very private and quiet retreat with mature trees and shrubs surrounding the house. It is easily accessible with plenty of parking and only a 5-7 minute drive to town. The interior wormy chestnut paneled walls and three stone fireplaces are reminiscent of another era. We believe you will fall in love with Laurelwood too.

Rent In Highlands Vacation Rental Cancellation Policy
Policy (A)Â for reservations less than 20 days:
A reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, the renter shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
Policy (B) for reservations of 20 days or more and reservations made 6 months in advance:
NO refund is given unless the property is re-rented under the same terms (Trip insurance is available and recommended to help protect your trip).
