A large wood deck, fire-pit and hot tub will draw you outdoors, where you may see deer, elk, eagles and other wildlife in this woodland sanctuary. This is exactly as pictured (or maybe better than pictured) - a truly special cabin in the woods that’s still very close to the beach. We loved how the outdoor space. We made s’mores by the fire, enjoyed relaxing and taking in the forest from the hot tub, and exploring the property. The inside of the home is homey and cozy. Thanks for the stay.

Pros: Quiet, secluded with great views and an awesome creek on the property. The driveway is very long and scenic, winding over a wooden bridge and along the creek.Cons: We arrived to find a notification saying the internet doesn't work.Property is overrun with weeds and there's a huge pile of scrap wood semi-covered by a tarp behind the house.Spider webs inhabit the windows.There are remote controls that don't go to anything and no remote for the sound bar in the living room.Two of the three shower heads downstairs don't work.None of the jets in the upstairs Jacuzzi tub work.Guests are charged 350 to use the hot tub which has green water in it. All the writing has worn off the controls so you have no idea how to turn on/off the heater or control the temp.This cabin was probably really nice years ago but it has clearly not been kept up.

Thank you for noting the quiet setting, views, creek and scenic driveway — I'm so glad those parts of your stay were positive. We will have housekeeping search for any signage indicating the internet is not working, as that is not the case. It does work well and has been for many months without issue. We will speak to the homeowner about arranging for additional landscaping and a vendor to replace the hot tub controls. The downstairs shower is a bit technical, so we do keep instructions on how to use the different shower heads in the bathroom. I will ask maintenance to ensure those are still posted and to test the shower heads to ensure they are still working as they should. I will also have them dispose of the additional remotes, inspect the Jacuzzi tub’s jests, and inspect for a spider problem in order to determine if a vendor is needed. I will also be addressing your hot tub water cleanliness concerns with our hot tubs team. Thank you again for the detailed feedback — we apologize for the inconveniences and will prioritize these fixes.

It was our first time visiting the Oregon coast and the lovely, secluded home was as much fun as the beach! There are running/hiking trails nearby, the beds were comfy and it's the perfect dark sky environment for star gazing.

Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and made for a relaxing getaway.When we arrived, we were about an hour and a half later than expected (around 6:30 p.m.), but someone was still at the property and didn’t leave for about 25 minutes. They didn’t bother us, but it was a little awkward since we were ready to settle in after the drive.The cabin was pretty clean, but it was overpowered by the smell of Pine-Sol, so we ended up opening all the windows to air it out. The cabin itself was comfortable, beds are comfortable, but the hot tub and deck could both use some updating. We personally didn’t use the hot tub because hot tubs generally gross me out, but my son absolutely loved it and spent a lot of time in it, so it was definitely a highlight for him.When we checked out, there was already a cleaning person waiting in the driveway for us to leave. We understand they were likely trying to get a head start on turnover, but it did make us feel a little rushed as we were finishing up and loading the car.Overall, despite those minor issues, we had a wonderful time. The beautiful property and relaxing atmosphere made it an enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider coming back.

A very pleasant place, we stayed with friends and really enjoyed it. We liked the scenic road to the house. It was clean and everything was provided for comfort. In person, the house looks darker than in the photos, but that didn’t bother us.

A great Honeymoon getaway

It was a beautiful home and area for our honeymoon. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed the hot tube and the surrounding area was beautiful.

The cabin was amazing and the property was peaceful. Close enough to town to do all the activities but far enough to be secluded and away from the noise.
