Fabulous house for fishing, walking or skiing. Two minutes from the Tongariro

Welcome to our warm and comfortable holiday home which is located on Taupahi Rd, Turangi. It's the perfect location for fly-fishing, skiing, hiking, biking or just a relaxing weekend by the fire.

The house has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen which is kept warm by the log-burner fire. The well equipped kitchen has a gas hob, double oven and a well stocked pantry. The three bedrooms have plenty of warm bedding and can sleep up to 6 people.

Enjoy endless hot water from the infinity gas hot water system to warm you up after a day skiing or on the river.

The garden is flat, private and sunny with room to park 2 cars off the street.

This is a pet friendly house. Your well behaved dog is welcome to stay but please note the section is not fully fenced so only suitable for dogs who don't roam. Please enquire about bringing your pet.

Cosy Retreat

Clean, warm bach with a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed being close to the river and walking the Tongariro river trail.

The spaniel and I had a wonderful stay. With the Kent fireplace going the house was very warm. The kitchen is everything one has at home and we lacked for nothing. Bed was super comfortable as was the couch. I would recommend this property and will stay here there again

A beautiful spot Sunny and Warm

The house was well set up with everything you need for a vacation. Two toilets are always good with any group. Super warm - lovely beds and close town, river walk and a cafe. Very clean as well.

We had an amazing weekend at this lovely bach. It was cleanest bach ever with lovely bedding and towels. Very lovely communication with bach owner. We will definitely go again.

Beautiful spot to stay in Turangi

Beautifully presented home. Very clean and tidy. Set up brilliantly like a home away from home with so many lovely extras. Lovely back yard and great off street parking. Only a short two minute walk to the lovely river and walkway. Great kids playground and park nearby for our grandchildren too. We would highly recommend this home to stay in. We definitely will again for a future Turangi visit.

Delightful Home to Get Away from It All

Beautiful home, in a beautiful setting. We truly enjoyed this well-kept, clean house with beautiful back yard. Plenty of room to spread out, full kitchen, large dining room, and living room for gathering together when you feel like it. Yet the place is large enough to retire to separate areas for privacy. Would have liked access to some hangers or drawer space for clothing but other than that - it was truly delightful! Beds were comfortable, and the location was just on the edge of town and down the road from a cafe where the locals hang out. Truly comfortable and private. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area. Hosts were easy to reach and very responsive for a breezy check-in. Many thanks!

A lovely stay!

We greatly enjoyed this property in Turangi. Clean and quiet, and very comfortable. We took many walks along the river and several great day trips also. This is a great base for a very relaxing week.We would rent this home again anytime!

A lovely place to stay in Turangi

We really enjoyed our stay in Turangi. The location is perfect - great for the riverside walking tracks and super close to the town centre. The house itself is great - super clean and spacious with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the gardens and the fact that we could take our two small dogs with us.We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in Turangi.

Very comfortable home. Everything supplied including great games and jigsaws. Handy to town but off the beaten track. Loved visiting the Creel cafe … best date scones ever! Will return without hesitation.

Fabulous stay in our happy place

Great comms from the owners. Allowed us to check out late which was so helpful. House was clean tidy and fully stocked with everything you could need. Log burner super cosy as well. Walking distance to the river so great for fishing and family walks. Will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay it is nice and local to everything we needed. The property was very clean, the fireplace kept us nice and warm, the beds were comfy and the added bonus that we could bring our fur baby with us😊 we would love to stay again.

Feels like home

This is second year I have been here and you walk in and feels like home light the fire and it’s instantly warm and comfortable very sunny the beds are comfortable linens are lovely everything you need with the river across the road thanks for making it a lovely few days
