Hidden Gem, peaceful and private tropical vacation home with a water overlook

Beautiful home with guest house located on Palm Island with access only by car ferry. The main home and additional guest boat house are the perfect setting for a family retreat. The main house features 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with vaulted ceilings, reclaimed barn wood accents, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, stone counters, designer kitchens and baths with European tubs and walk-in showers, and great attention to detail in all its design. The wrap-around porch finishes with a large screened lanai adjoining the covered walkway to the guest home which overlooks a grand paved patio area between the two homes complete charcoal grill and picnic tables perfect for memorable family time. The guest home offers 1 bedroom and 1 1/2 baths with stone counters and under counter lighting, huge shower and soak tub, high ceilings, ceramic tile flooring, and designer kitchen. Start and end your day on your upland walkway leading to the observation deck with full views of the Lemon Bay Estuary and the Intracoastal Waterway. Easily wash away the beach sand in the outdoor shower. A $30.00 per day golf cart rental is automatically added for your on-island transportation. Arrival car ferry passage included for two vehicles and two additional roundtrip ferry passes; additional passes available to purchase at a discount. Access to resort beaches and Rum Bay restaurant are just a golf cart away. Watch the sunset and return to this sanctuary for a relaxation. Each patio does have a seating area although not in the photos.

We had 6 adults and 5 children stay, with plenty of beds/rooms between the main house and guest house! It was like we had several acres all to ourselves! The office staff were extremely kind and helpful. A quick 7 minute golf cart ride took us to the beautiful beach with plenty of shells to choose from!

This well appointed and comfortable home is tucked away with a perfect combination of gorgeous water view with a dock on the intercoastal and easy beach access. It was perfect for our family to experience time together and the best of beautiful Palm Island that we love so much. With plenty of living space indoors and out, we enjoyed every minute!

Picture Perfect Paradise

The main home and guest home are beautifully appointed in every way. All furnishings, bedding, supplies were first class. The setting is extraordinary and peaceful. Beautiful birds, turtles, crabs, iguana, dolphin, raccoons, manatees, and even a bobcat were seen. True nature at its most beautiful. The beach was a short 2 minute golf cart away, which was included with your stay. The car ferry experience and lack of cars within the resort add to the relaxing ambiance. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be returning again.

Nice but...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is beautiful but i will not comeback to it.There is no pool access at all, the kids were tired of the beach. It is really far from everything, it has a lot of wasps nest, we couldn't be in the porch because they keep coming in, we didn't know from where so even though is screened, wasps were always inside. Also the wifi is pretty bad, we have to use our hotspots for the kids to use their devices. It has tvs but not smart tvs so we couldn't watch anything from our apps in our downtime. it wasn't the same experience i have every year at Palm Island. We visited every summer for the past 6 years and it always been a phenomenal experience. We will come back next year but not to the same house.

SABLE PALM IS TRULLY A HIDDEN GEM

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Vacation Rental was LE36. When we entered the premises and started to unpack our luggage we noticed that the upstairs air conditioning unit was not operating. Property management had the air conditioning repair company come out to examine the problem. He found that the blower motor was burned out and the air conditioning unit was full of solid ice. The earliest that it would be repaired was 4 days later. Property Management placed us in a small rental unit, which was at best substandard. Later on the next day, after numerous complaints, property management placed us in the Sable Palm Hidden Gem. Which I can say we were extremally pleased. I have been a guest at Palm Island Resort on many occasions beginning in 1983. This is the first time I have had a problem. I understand that mechanical problems will occur, but my recommendation is that the property be inspected the the morning of the day the rental period begins. If the inspections shows there is a problem, there will be sufficient time to make adjustments. This is my only complaint and look forward to returning to Palm Island Resort next year.
