We loved this property. It had everything we could ever need and getting to and from the ski resort was easy with the bus stop so close by! Will stay here again if I ever return to Steamboat.
As summer guests, we enjoyed the fact that the property included a garage so that we could store our bikes and kayaks. Property is very convenient to the Yampa River bike trail.
A great set-up for families.
Enjoyed evenings on the patio--no problems with mosquitoes!
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo really exceed our expectations. The features that stood out the most to us included the heated garage, comfy and spacious interior, short walk to the bus stop and of course the updated master bathroom with heated floors! Even though our stay was short, we didn't want to leave. Another big impression that was left on us was how clean and orderly the condo was. The next time we are in Steamboat, this property will be our number one choice. Thank you again for such a great place to stay.
We really enjoyed staying here! Beds were comfortable, and the condo had everything we needed. The floor plan was perfect and we loved the kitchen. We also liked being on the ground floor. It was also nice to have a garage that connects to the condo.
There was easy access to the local trail system, and the river.
As some of the other reviewers have noted, with this condo being in the ground floor, you can hear the footsteps of those above at times. This didnât really bother us, and all the other conveniences more than made up for it.
We would definitely stay here again!
Great place other than the loud people above this unit. We stayed in this same unit 2 years ago and had the same issue. We wonât be returning to this until due to the loud home owners above.
Great, convenient place to stay in our favorite place on earth. Only concern is this. Half way home (we live 3 hours away), we realized we left our Sonos blue tooth speaker on the dining table. We immediately called Steamboat Mountain Resorts/Pioneer Ridge (who manages the property) to let them know we forgot it and could retrieve it on a return trip in a few weeks. We still havenât heard back from them.
The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook, the hot tub is close by so it was easy to use and not crowded , the place is well located just 5 mins from the ski mtn by car. Loved the heated floors in the master bathroom. All in all a good place to be.
was very impressed with how well stocked the supplies were at the condo. There was enough paper
towels, toilet paper.; plenty of towels. There was even a stash of herbs and spices. Most impressive.
We had a great stay in this condo at the Walton Creek Villas. The unit was clean and well appointed, upgraded with granite countertops in the kitchen and master bathroom. The open layout of the common areas made the condo feel very spacious and we had ample room to spread out and relax with 4 adults. The kitchen was amply stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals in, and the grocery store is just a couple minutes drive away. The free city bus stop is less than a block away from the unit, was an easy walk with ski gear and a 5min ride to the gondola drop off. The bus will get you downtown and back in about 20-25min each way. NOTE: Get off at the Trappeur's Crossing stop and walk the extra block on your way back to the condo. If you don't it will cost you an extra 20min at least!
We were all very impressed by the condo for the price and location. Pioneer Ridge was accommodating and allowed both an early check-in and late check-out (there were no other parties going or coming around our dates). The only negative is the master bed is pretty hard, but we still slept well.
We will definitely consider it again on our next Steamboat ski-cation.
