A self-catering apartment with sea views, sleeping four. Situated on the spectacular North Coast of Cornwall with the nearby beach of Constantine Bay only 100m walk. The beach is famous for its beauty and family friendly nature. Trevose Golf Club, and the local shop, are a ten minute walk away. Many other local features to visit including Padstow, Eden Project and the Camel Trail.
The apartment consists of the master bedroom with double bed. Bedroom two has a single bed and bunk beds. The living area is open plan with modern lighting. The bathroom has a bath and shower over, together with a wetsuit hanging rail and heated towel rack. Inside the small utility room is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave and ceramic hob.
An ideally located apartment suitable for couples or families looking for a relaxing or active holiday. We look forward to hearing from you.
Golf: The apartment is within walking distance of the championship course of Trevose Golf Club, although most people do prefer to drive and park at the club house or the designated parking for the 9 hole course. There are also other golf clubs in the area such as Merlin and Llanhydrock.
Surfing: Constantine Bay has its own surf school on the beach run by the son of the owner of the local surf shop. In addition to this are the Harlyn Surf school and other visiting surf schools. A great way to learn to surf because tuition can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
We stayed to be close to friends in Treyarnon Bay. It was the perfect location for this. The golf club was also close for food and drinks plus the YMCA. The Constantine shop provided other essentials and the bus stop outside the store, to Padstow a bonus.
The apartment is in a fantastic location. It really is a Stone'sTthrow away from the beach. Perfect for coastal walks, surfing, rock pooling and just playing on the beach.
The apartment is clean and really well equipped. The owner was very helpful,; offering suggestions of places to eat and activities in the area.
Flat is extremely tired and need of repairs be very careful with deposit
Very poor condition and in dire need of renovation despite being in idyllic position. Be very careful with deposit as owner accused us of damage which we didnât cause, and customer service is very poor, all in all a very unpleasant stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location helped by brilliant weather. One odd electrical problem reported but prompt reply from owner. Baby elephants had moved in upstairs but kept decent hours so not a problem. Friendly neighbours. Good parking and access to beach. Electric/ hot water instructions needed updating. Not obvious from information in flat, or from buttons in cupboard!
The apartment had everything we needed for 4 people and a good outside area and friendly neighbours - we really enjoyed it. Not huge, but we knew that - large bathroom however and useful utilities such as washing machine / dryer.
This property is all about the location. You will find it very difficult to find better accommodation in such close proximity to a fantastic beach within this price point. The accommodation is a little dated (as the owner has said) but it is clean and comfortable, and has everything you need. The owner even called to see if everything was OK. We will book again.
Incidentally, we stayed the week after the other reviewer who broke the plug socket. Our deposit was returned without question.
Nice little apartment; everything as described in the listing. Well-equipped kitchen; roomy bathroom. The apartment building is located just a 2-minute-walk from the totally beautiful beach -- perfect! Our teenage kids took surf lessons in Constantine Bay and in Harlyn Bay (with Windy from Waves Surf School). We liked walking along the South West Coast Path -- lots of gorgeous views on coast and sea. If you like to be where it is less crowdy, then Constantine Bay is wonderful (the only "minus": the very narrow roads everywhere, but that's typical for Cornwall, not esp. for Constantine Bay). On the whole, definitely recommendable.
The location of this flat is brilliant - it's about 3 minutes walk to Constantine beach, and then you have the choice of two more bay's from there - Treyarnnon to your left or Booby's to your right, both only another 5 minutes away. There is a small village shop and surf store at the top of the road and the Treglos Hotel about 5 minute's walk away has a really good restaurant. The nearest pub is a 25 minute walk away along the road, though not too bad given the low level of traffic. Padstow is 15 minutes by car.
The accommodation is simple, but it suited myself and my girlfriend really well. There were all the conveniences expected (bar a freezer compartment in the fridge), but I think a family with any more than one child would struggle with the space.
The walls are a little thin, and we could hear people walking around above, but this wasn't too bad and didn't spoil our enjoyment.
Overall, if you want to get away to somewhere with a quiet location and proximity to beaches is important, you won't go too far wrong.
