Gets the job done. Small but cosy. Kitchen is a bit bare bones and does not have a stove, so bring a portable gas or electric stovetop if you want to do any cooking. If you're looking for a place to stay off mountain for the skiing season, this is a great place to consider.
Double bed was two singles pushed together which was hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen had limited crockery. Pots supplied and no cook top! Room had musky smell. Great view though.
Fridge was left untidy with a half drink bottle of milk.
No basic amenities in bathroom. Spider wed around corners.
Childâs bed was a couch made into a makeshift bed not an actual trundle. Also had to pay for this which is fine, but provide a proper single bed.
1/4 full hand soap.
We stayed at this property over the weekend. We had a serious lack of communication before the stay. No check in details were sent and had to call multiple time (with no answer) to get the PIN code to the room. No map of where the cabin was within the group of cabins was provided. Upon entering the room we found 2 large washing bags of other appartments dirty sheets and towels ( I took pictures). There was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 adults for 3 days. We had to drive 15 mins into the main town to get more. The soap in the shower was nearly empty. Locals in the area said owner was notorious for poor communication and has left guests walking around looking for their cabins many times before and itâs a local joke. We tried to call the owner when we were in town to explain the issues but again no answer. We would not recommend this property and obviously would not stay again. Very disappointing as the location was fabulous for what we needed and it had a lovely view.
The entry code to the room was incorrect, it was a 37 degree day, I had 2 children with me, could not contact the host, waited for hrs frustrated in the heat, eventually we realised the bathroom window was open and boosted my 7 year old son through the window. The room was absolutely filthy, I stay in budget hotels often for work, have been for 20 years, this is by far the most disgusting place Iâve ever stayed in, all other guest from the other 3 rooms where complaining, dust everywhere, spider webs, dirty grimy bathrooms, dirty dishes, beds hadnât been cleaned, just an absolute nightmare . We will be requesting a full refund. Do yourself a favour, do not stay here.
I've previously stayed at these apartments. (Obviously a good sign) With kitchenette, and proximity to the Hunt Club (Bar & Restaurant) its ideal for short stays. A great alternative for accommodation , if you're not wanting to be on the mountain, but prefer to do other activities
Such a perfectly handy place to stay - we were heading up to Mt Buller and all the accommodation on the mountain was sold out so this is a great alternative. Listening and looking at the river pass by under our cabin (no 4 at the back) was lovely.
And the shower pressure was something I really wish I had in my own house !
It's also close to the mountain and right next door to The Hunt Club (which has good food and a great mulled wine) .
We stayed during winter so didn't use the extra facilities -pool and tennis court but appreciate that they have them :)
We had a great time at Daniâs place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. We stayed at timbertop, the view outside is amazing. 40 minutes driving to Mt Buller alpine resort which is convenient. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay.
I Had a fantastic time staying here. Close to Mt Buller and places to eat in Merrijig. Cody apartment with great views. I could almost see the Trout in the river from my apartment.
We stayed at the Treetop studio and absolutely loved the place. The view from the room is amazing. The place is conveniently located in between Mansfield and Buller. Deni was a great host. Communication was super easy and prompt. We will definitely come back.
Overlooks the Delatite River located just 20metres away. Bus Stop to Mt Buller located on site. Situated next door to the Hunt Club which serves good Pub meals. Close to all the hiking trails.
